Sky ate her food while Adney talked that way they could go back and forth on eating and talking. "What about rent?" She asked him wondering what would be the price for them to be in the same apartment. She only found it fair that they share on the rent or that Adney pay for it and Sky paid him back. "I don't want to be a freeloader... I'll take that back unless I was someone's wife. Even then I would want to do my part."

Rent? He supposed that was something that should be covered. "I don't care much. It comes straight out of my pay check, which is simple. So I suppose if you insist, you can just pay me." poking about his pasta, he twirls a bit around his fork before inserting it into his mouth. He took his time chewing, mulling over a price or some other way to pay him. It didn't matter to him, really; he had to pay the rent anyway, and it's not like he really had anything to spend money on in the first place. Other than food, of course. There was only so much juice that one man could drink, after all.

He didn't give her a price for rent. he could just have said half, but he didn't . Maybe she could suggest a way to pay back the money. "How about I pay for your food. We can make a list and I can go shopping." The girl suggested to him. It was one way she could pay him back. She could also make meals when she was awake and be someone he could complain to when he didn't have a good day. It was at least one way of doing things.

It seemed that the oldest Sol wasn't too keen on taking money from the girl; he sighed at her suggesting, spearing another shrimp on his fork. "I suppose that's fair. If you're fine with that." he answered, mentally calculating how much it cost to feed himself. It wasn't all that expensive, he didn't eat much and usually bought his lunch from the cafeteria anyway. He wasn't very picky when it came to food, he usually just wandered around the grocery store and threw in his cart whatever looked good. His diet was fairly simple, so he supposed making a list wouldn't be difficult.

Sky was happy that she got him to agree to at least letting her pay for food. She could stuff it with simple things. She wasn't that great of a cook anyways. She didn't like cooking. They also had interesting work hours too. "Good I'll make sure to leave at least one frozen pizza in the fridge." She joked before biting into the steak again.

Show Me How To Lie....
Pointing his empty fork at her, he waved it slightly. "Hey. Frozen pizza is an important staple to a bachelor's diet." his serious expression cracked, and he smiled in obvious amusement. "Frozen pizza, juice and restaurant leftovers." he grinned, leaning back against the booth seat. He was joking, of course; he definitely ate and drank more than that. Continuing to poke and pick at his food, he ate more slowly now as he grew closer to being full.

Sky smiled and laughed. It was pretty funny and he made her relax. "Well there will now be come salad and pasta in there as well, along with a few Japanese things." She was half Japanese after all. She would probably end up leaving some food for Adney to have as his meals like a rice ball here and there. Her face turned into thought. "Adney. Why would you want me to move in?" She asked. Was there really more to this then met the eye.

He wrinkled his nose at the mention of salad, playful expression still in place. "Salad? Isn't that what they feed rabbits?" he asked, continuing to pick at his pasta. He didn't mind salad, really; he wasn't a big fan, but he supposed with enough dressing he would be able to eat it just fine. At her question, he stops picking at his food and sets the fork down in the bowl. "You said you wanted to move out, and I have a spare room. Living alone is boring." he shrugged, knowing that wasn't the type of answer she wanted. "Besides, I figure it'll be harder to lose touch again if you're living in my apartment."

Sky smile and looked into Adney's eyes. They were the same ones that he liked for a while now. "You know what Adney." She told him while looking into his eyes. "You're a flirt." She told him before sticking what last piece of beef in her mouth. "Not that I'm going to fight it." She added with a smile. Sky was just as much a flirt as Adney was so there was no difference.

Chuckling in response, he glanced at his very nearly empty bowl; only a few noodles remained, and he had no qualms about leaving them there. "Me? A flirt?" he shook his head, as if shocked by this accusation. "I'm just a poor, lonely old man." he defended himself, arms crossed over his chest. "A poor, lonely, defenceless old man being taken advantage of by whipper snappers like you."

Sky smiled and got up. She moved over to Adney's side of the table. She was tall for a girl and she leaned over him since she was standing. "Isn't this the other way around." She flirted and sat down next to him before giving him a kiss. It wasn't the quickest kiss, but it wasn't like it was making out. It was still semi-quick. "You'll get more later." She told him.

Watching her in confusion as she stood and leaned over him, a questioning look appeared on his features as she bent closer and kissed him. Well, he certainly hadn't expected that. The kiss went on longer than he had expected, but he didn't seem like he didn't like it. Pulling back as she did, he raised an eyebrow at her in a show of surprise. "You seem so sure of yourself." he looked amused, placing an elbow on the table and using it to prop up his head; he adjusted himself in the seat so that he was looking at her. "It's quite nice, actually."

A clever smiled appeared on the girls face. She kept her eyes on him. "Well you see there is an issue with doing it again. There is this old man who is going to kidnap me and force me to live with him instead of this cute redhead in front of me." She teased him. She really liked the way he looked over the idea of an old man. "I hope you'll rescue me and take me home." She asked Adney.

A worried look flashed across his features at the clever expression on her face, though he settled instead on his politely interested expression with one eyebrow raised. He raised a finger, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "Well, I never could turn down a damsel in distress...." he trailed off, a smirk threatening to ruin his thoughtful expression. He wondered how Sky would take being called a damsel, but he certainly hadn't meant it in a negative fashion.

Sky smiled at Adney. She didn't mind it. It wasn't like he was saying that she was just like it. It was more roleplay than anything so this time she was okay with it. "Good. Because this one doesn't want you to." She told him whispering into his year. She was done with her meal and just waited for the waitress to come by. She was happy that he didn't see himself as an old man anymore, because that was not the way she saw him.
