((Uh, way to "waste" money and get into the center of attention XP))

Cwen shook her head when Maxwell mentioned switchblades. Regardless, that was probably the only type of blade that Maxwell could outclass her in... She realized why he used the switchblades. She never involved herself in bar fights. It wasn't becoming of a lady, and it was not proper for someone of her class.

The politician stopped a grimace from showing on her face when Max paid for the whole meal. She wanted to pay for herself and didn't want to be in his debt. Why did you leave that much money? It seemed "overkill" to her, but Lise couldn't think of a word Cwen would think of, so she wrote "overkill." She gathered her belongings and entered the limo upon Max's request. "Thank you, Mr. Hale," she said, thanking him for the meal and the ride. She didn't even bother looking at Ibane.

((It's not a waste of money... more like an investment. Overkill... I can kinda picture Cwen saying that in this setting. This is far from Victorian Era Britain anyway.))

"You're welcome, Ms. Hazard," Maxwell politely responded. He entered after her and closed the door. Ibane revved the limo's engine and soon they were on their way. Maxwell's hotel casino was located on the other side of the Platinum sector, so it would take some to reach it. In the meantime, they could discuss their plans.

"Yes, Cwen Hazard will also be present," Maxwell spoke into his cell phone to one of his media contacts. "It's not a joke because we will be sharing our opinions about the chaos in the White sector." He soon finished up his conversation with his media contact.

"Done and done," said the mobster with a slight grin. "So how should we support the Admins? Perhaps you could supply them with the necessary replacement parts and I'll help financially?" Unbeknownst to them, they were being followed from behind by a car.

Aubia turned and looked at Elliot for a moment, her lips pursed, thinking. "...Yes, that sounds like a plan. Please Elliot, get as many of our people out as possible." Her voice was unusually soft, perhaps even - shaking? She took a deep breath, and her usual resolve came back.

"Here's what is going to happen. We are going to declare a state of emergency. The entire Admin compound must be evacuated. Tell the press it was simply several burst pipes that flooded some of the rooms - everything else was protocol. If they ask about Warlock, if it glitched... all it was, was a glitched meter. That's plausible enough." She drummed her manicured fingernails on the wall, thinking.

"Tomorrow, Elliot, I want you to meet me at the police headquarters. Bring Armand too. We're going to get to work."

"]((Ok, I guess, but it just doesn't sound Cwen-like. Lol.))

She heard bits and pieces of Max's conversations. Since they were sitting next to each other, she could hear his words at least. Clearly, people were surprised that the two of them would be speaking together. Honestly, Cwen didn't think it would be happening so soon. That grudge of hers was far from gone!

Cwen wasn't paying attention to her surroundings at this moment, so she didn't notice the car following them. At least Max hadn't suggested that he would supply dope to the Admins. "That sounds feasible. We must keep the masses calm, however. More panic will only make the situation worse."

((Here's an attempt. Wasn't really sure what to post. A little out of character for Armand, I think.))

The man with the mess of red hair chuckled. "Well, could be Warlock's lover trying to reach it," the scientist joked in response to Antoinette's question. "You know... there are all these peeping toms these days..." Armand sure didn't sound as frantic as the others. Then again, it was Armand after all.

He looked at Flarn. "You make it sound as if Warlock fell into the depths of watery graves down below in the deep great unknown... eh, well, I'd say Warlock is probably closer than we think. As Admins, we'll take care of it and if the city falls apart in the process... well, eh, the blame's probably also on you for causing people to freak out."

The scientist than looked at Jack and tilted his head. "Send another message."

||SORRY!||

Elliot nodded at Aubia, all business. Everything she'd said made perfect sense, and she didn't question the cover story. Of course they'd have to lie; if the admins told the truth, there'd be city-wide panic and then nothing would get done. Concerned citizens were one thing, frightened idiots quite another. And Elliot knew she'd go nuts if there was even more disorder happening in Klox than there already was, and she was nearly at her breaking point even now. All her life, she wanted to grow up to be like her mother and father, a scientist who helped the people. She'd never dreamed Warlock could malfunction, and even now, seeing this whole ordeal, was still stubbornly clinging to the hope that this was all a bad dream.

"Yes, ma'am," Elliot said in response to Aubia's last order. She was quite sure she knew what to expect from tomorrow's meeting, though she'd probably have to gag and bind Armand to get him to shut up long enough to even hear what Aubia had to say to them.

She headed off, grabbing uselessly wandering Admins and directing them toward the door. Per and the crazy man had made room in front of the gaping hole by disappearing. Those who made for the exit grabbed others nearby and soon there was a steady stream of escaping Admins. She'd instructed them to head outside, and if there was any press, stay silent. Despite their apparent useless status, they were professionals and knew what the consequences would be if word got out to the city that Warlock had malfunctioned.

Elliot made her way up and down the hallway, getting people to leave. She came upon Armand and several others.

"Hey, useless," Elliot quipped, tapping on Armand's shoulder. She jabbed a thumb over her shoulder toward the line. "Follow everyone over there, and you'll be out in no time." These words she directed at all of them, but then she turned back to Armand. "And no funny business," she warned, giving him a stern look.

Max nodded in agreement to Cwen's words. "Yes, I wonder if anything else has happened since we left the cafe?" With that said, he pressed a button and a small holographic screen presented itself in front of them. It was already on one of the news channels.

"Yes, Tom," spoke a reporter, "it seems several Admins are leaving the site. Our attempts to question them have been met with silence so far."

The godfather rubbed his chin and stared at the holographic screen which showed Admins evacuating their facilities. "Well, hopefully they can hold off the media in the meantime before mass panic erupts." Suddenly, a pictures of Maxwell and Cwen appeared on the screen accompanied by a reporter's voice.

"We have just gotten word that politician and businesswoman Cwen Hazard as well as... businessman Maxwell Hale... both from the Platinum sector, will be present at a press conference later today concerning the White sector crisis. You've heard that right, folks. Cwen Hazard and Maxwell Hale at the same time and place later today. Maxwell has been suspected of mob ties in the past, but there has never been any solid proof of this." The reporter went on and on.

Maxwell grinned at Cwen. "So--" BUUMMFF!!! They were bumped on the right side of the limo by the vehicle that was following them from behind. The force sent Max crashing into Cwen's right side. The news channel broke up, but continued as normal after a few seconds. He shook his head and shifted back to his side where he pressed a button to lower down the window about halfway. "HEY!" Max yelled at the car. "THIS LIMO IS EXPEN--" He stopped his words when he saw the emblem of a Black sector drug gang on the car.

"DABLE?" yelled a muffled voice from the car.

"Oh s**t!" the mobster grumbled out loud before looking at Cwen. "CWEN GET DOWN!!!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as he grabbed Cwen's arms swiftly dragging her down to the limo's floor with him. Shots soon shattered the windows above them. TSHHSSHH!!! The windows were now gone but the bullets kept coming. Max looked at Cwen amidst the chaos with a smirk on his face. "The drug dealing Black sector gangs are especially mad at the both of us." He sighed without losing too much of his smirk. "That light saber's gonna come in handy right now don't you think? Crawl over to the door and unleash it on one of their tires. It will go right through this limo's metal." He shifted a bit so that Cwen would have room to make her move.

Flarn Zeglos – Ekruh mechanic
The conundrum.

Slowly but surely, a stream of admins began to file out of the building and out of the white sector. "I think that would be best. It wouldn't do to be somewhere so dangerous right now. Perhaps we shall meet again soon?" Taking leave from the group, Flarn slid into the crowd of admins and went with the flow, the only thing making him stand out being his dark metal suit.

(( I AM SO SORRY TOO I AM SUCH A HORRIBLE RP LEADER))

Aubia watched Elliot walked away, and let her gaze fall to the floor. Her fierce brown eyes, not with no one to command, turned bleary and miserable. So much stress.... So stressful, today alone. If she ever got home, she would open up her new novel, and perhaps that would help her relax until tomorrow's meeting at the police station.

"Yes ma'am," she repeated glumly to herself, for no other reason than that she needed to hear her own voice.

And then, after one final round through the compound, she finally also evacuated.

((Alright, so, if you want, feel free to time-skip your characters to later that night, or tomorrow morning. I'm so sorry that when i finally posted, my post was so short. ;__; Shame on me!))

Cwen frowned as they were bumped, and she was thrown into the car door and even more abruptly because Maxwell crashed into her from the other side. Two thoughts went through her head. Reckless drivers or those unscrupulous disgraces on the planet. Luckily, the car wall was padded.

She dropped to the floor as Maxwell grabbed her and pulled her down and away from a bunch of bullets. She frowned again. "Disgraces," she muttered. She nodded to Maxwell and grabbed the saber handle and shifted into Max's space once he moved. She tilted the saber handle, hit the unlock and unsheath buttons and the lightsaber shot out, through the limo's door and into the tire of the other car.

Jack Vegas Work Droid - R.C. #D-110
working away...

With everyone leaving the building Jack had no time to send another message, but he could do that anywhere there was an open pannel.
"Sorry man, no time just now. Tell you what. Pop by the RUST HQ later and I'll see what I can do? Oh and I'll message the rest of the robots to keep quiet... We don't want any panic..." He said as everyone split up into the croud.
Unplugging from the wall Jack made his way over to the rest of the RUST unit. They were also ready for leaving by the looks of things. Craning his kneck he looked for a robotic admin somewhere in their midst.
"Hey... Tell everyone to keep hush about this, I'm sure you already know what pannic would come about from this anyway, but just a reminder." He said into the ears of his boss.
"No worries Jack my boy. Evberyone knows what to do." He replied with an air of confidence in his team. Jack just nodded in agreement and got into line behind annother robot as they marched off back to their HQ.

((Meh got lost, my next post can be my time skip one XD This one just gets me out of the action untill either I or someone else brings me back in (^_^) ))

Ugh, peeping toms: Antoinette had had her fair share of those. She thought about Armand's words as she walked slowly out of the complex. Where was Warlock? Was he (it?) really closer than everyone thought? She pursed her lips. Logically speaking, Warlock should be at the center of the floating mass of land. However, Antoinette knew that Warlock was rarely ever logical--after all, this was a floating mass of land, and recently there had been malfunctions that made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

She didn't like this. She didn't like it at all.

Just then, Elliot popped by and basically attempted to order him and direct the others out of the complex. Armand shrugged as Jack claimed there was no time, and he nodded when the robot mentioned that he could stop by RUST HQ later. And then Flarn was off to follow the line of people steadily streaming out of the White Sector. The same with Antoinette and then Jack.

Armand looked at Elliot with an innocent smile. "Funny business? I would never dream of that..." he replied sarcastically. "Ah, but it's so nice in here... what should I follow everyone else?" He winked at her as he saw Flarn's black figure drift out among the masses. A random though came into his head about how Flarn would react if the water creature woke up and found his tentacles in tied in the form of many bows. "Is that what you plan to do, Ellie?" There was something he was curious about, and he wouldn't be leaving until he dropped by his lab, even if Ellie had to drag him somehow kicking and screaming away... except he probably wouldn't really be kicking and screaming...

((Me too!! School is such a pain. Oh, and I have a new character...))

Angelina made her way out. Everything was being evacuated. She didn't like the out look of things right at that point. She vaulted over falling slats and found where most people were evacuating. She followed a line of workers out, happy to finally be getting some fresh air.

Carol walked as she usually did, but she was scowling. She had no time what-so-ever for this. The Warlock was breaking down soon, she could feel it, in her heart, soul, and well-being. Her wedged boots made soft clicking sounds as she walked, her red hair looking like flame. She manged to get out a minute or so after Auiba had left, so she managed to see her. She quickened her pace a small bit. Then she almost stopped, but then kept going so she wouldn't get run over. She would see her at the police station. Carol sighed. She really needed to take a hot shower, then curl up in her bed, under her warm, soft covers on her feathery down pillow and slip into a peaceful oblivion... But of course, her mind was racing and it would be forever before she got to do that. She bit her lip as she tried to break away from the group so that she could be alone to think for a little while.

Elliot stood there, arms crossed, covered in dried blood, and watched several of Armand's new friends leave. One of them seemed to be a robot, and another looked like someone wearing complete body armor. He moved a little oddly, and Elliot's scientific mind puzzled about what could be under the armor. Was he human? Didn't walk like one, though he could probably blend in with a crowd, provided people didn't notice the sheets of metal covering his body. She turned back to her boss, one eyebrow raised.

"Funny business is your middle name, Armand," she replied blandly. Blinked. "Believe me, I've checked your birth records." She'd meant it as a joke, but she often checked the man's records, just to be sure she hadn't overlooked some bit of information that showed Armand wasn't fully there, or was perhaps only half human. Either theory would make sense.

"And yes, I plan to leave, just like you should be doing," Elliot added, fixing him with a steady stare. "I can't imagine you'd have any further business here." To emphasize her point, she waved a hand at the pieces of ceiling that had fallen in on them. Steady streams of white dust floated to the floor, a gentle forewarning of violence to come.
