Lucian came to quickly. He said to himself in excruciating pain. "No...other choice." He raised his arm and said, "Cero...Barrage!" The forst from the deadly blast shot him back a few blocks and he was sure to be feeling this in the morning. The tiny blue blasts of Gran Rey Cero were scattered all over the place. There was no dodging it.

Matsuo saw the blasts "you got to be kidding me......." he jumped in front of Cody and spun around creating a spinning chakra shield. although he was able to block most of them one of the blasts got though and pierced Matsuo in the arm, another in his thigh. "damnit! just die already!" he shot more chakra needles this time with more force and power behind him. when he did this the wounds opened more "Gah! that hurt like a......."

Cody turned and saw what Matsuo did, "Sir!" He made a couple fast hand signs, "Hidden Mist Jutsu." A large mist formed around them and he grabbed Matsuo... taking him somewhere safe.

The ten swords/guards knew to act off of instinct. They each split into their original ten thousand and intercepted the needles. He would have been dead if not for them.

"Just forget about it, Dane." Lucian said. He stood up as he reverted from his resurrecion. He used El Burlador as a support . "We need to find where the captains are meeting." Lucian began to slowly walk roughly in the direction of the multiple and powerful reiatsu he was sensing. It was definitely that of a few captains.
