Gangu looked down on the group as if they had completely forgot about him.

(Just thought of something to further secure the 'Phoenix' form- I roll 4 100-sided dice; first two are the damage that I deal to my target, second two are my own damage. I request a higher health for this to go into effect, though. How does this sound?)
Horyoku galloped on his canine hind- legs as the 6 of them raced toward a falling cliff. Out of the cliff came large, black, semi- transparent tendrils, which flailed about violently.
"What is this abomination? Sabata of Dusk- why did you use a weapon of daemonic origin?"
(BTW- 'Yugure' means 'Evening Twilight', which I read as 'Dusk'. Just wanna make myself clear- that's why I changed my form to Yoake, which means 'dawn'. You can call me 'Yoake Horyoku' in this form, if you'd like...)

"It's a long story. Suffice it to say, Meiun needed a master if it was to stay asleep."
"You know, I'm kind of curious as well. Why did you have a weapon with a demon in it, or rather, how did you?"
Sabata sighed. "I guess there's no way to shorten things... Alright, I'll tell you.
"When I was originally one, I encountered Meiun as it stepped through a portal from the demonic world, who proclaimed the same goal as you had heard earlier. However, I jumped it fast. I noticed that I wasn't able to kill it, no matter how hard I tried. So, I sealed it inside a whip, which incidentally took the form you may or may not have seen earlier. However, as I said earlier, I couldn't just leave it. I had to bring it with me. When I split, Yugure was swift to retrieve the whip. Unfortunately, it didn't stop his return. But what matters now is that we defeat him once and for all. I don't know if I can seal anything in this form."

As our warriors continued to charge toward the abomination, the sky grew darker and darker...

"Wait," Horyoku said. "I don't feel good about this..."
"Oh, blow it out your-"
"Wait. I feel it, too."
Horyoku and the Overseer felt a great danger approaching. Little did they know, they were soon to stand before the daemon they were hunting down, about 2 miles away in Aekea. The dreary and violent city seemed to pull the infernal beast in like a fly to a lamp.
"I know where he is. He is at the old Gambino Mansion," he said, and suddenly he realized the danger. "Hurry! We must hurry!", Horyoku cried as he dashed ahead of everyone frantically, hoping to reach the city before all was lost.

Sabata hurried toward the Old Gambino Mansion. "He may be gone when we get there."
(That ability could be helpful, Horyoku. Will grant you double HP for this ability. Remember that in this case you will be rolling 5, not 4, the first being to hit, the second and third for damage dealt, and fourth and fifth being damage to you. Of course, Meiun has 900. Know that. I've also set it up so Meiun doesn't heal the damage he took at the end of the battle.)
(Oh, and Sabata has 450 because he is a mix of all three Sabatas. However, he loses 25 HP each time he attacks flat out. Just saying.)

"I doubt that", Horyoku yelled back. "Does anyone remember the old Labtech laboratories underneath the mansion? Well, I got a feeling that Gambino was also looking into extra- dimensional research." He finally reached the doors of the mansion- and not a moment too late. Suddenly a great flash came from the sky, and a dark purple and pink portal ripped open. Thousands of lesser daemons began pouring out of it- Inccubi, Succubi, Nightmare, and many more- all heading toward the city.
"Quick! We must act fast!" As Horyoku said this, flames began spiring from his body. He took out several hundred daemons with this lethal attack, but it seemed to hardly dent the sheer numbers of the infernal beast's minions as they dissipated into the city.
On that day, 300 people died. Buildings were destroyed, families broken, hopes crushed. It had seemed like our heroes and "anti-'s" alike had failed. But then...
TheDawnCame...
In a desperate attempt approxamately one week later, our motley crew of protagonists put together a small army of 150 makeshift soldiers; they proceded toward the Dark Mansion- the ruins of the old Gambino legacy- in a desperate attempt to end Meiun's slaughtering for good...
"Are we ready", Horyoku asked. His small squadron of warriors nodded. "We're ready on our end, Sabata."

"This will be the final battle. If any, and I mean any of us die, us being Overseer, Sentinel, Jack, You and I, we will have failed. Remember, Overseer and Sentinel have their goals, and I'm not about to have them die. Jack gave Kurayami the power of invincibility. If he dies, Kurayami loses the ability. You are too powerful and important to lose, and I... Well, I'm the leader.
"Nighthawk, come!" Sabata called. Kurayami's crow came and flew in front of Sabata.
"You called, master?" The crow said.
"Yes, that I did. I want you to go tell the commanders, except Horyoku, since he already knows, to meet me at the war room at 1800 hours." 1800 hours meant 6:00 PM, which took place in 2 hours.
"Yes, master." With that, the crow flew away.
"Unfortunately, we can't march until everyone is ready. We will meet in the war room at 1800 hours. You remember where that is, right?"
