Victum Soul tacit_tourniquet My Hollow so you think its acceptable for Christians to wear something that is an off shoot of the pentagram? I bought a H.I.M. cd (what was i thinking, they are terrible!) and if my mother would have allowed me to waer their shirts i would have, back in the day. But i had to sit back and think about it, whether we like it or not people watch us and see how we act. What a bunch of hypocrits we are if we all started to wear the heartogram. But hey this is my opinion. but the whole point of the heartagram is: 1. play on the pentagram, and technically it is not the pentagram, so i dont see why it is "evil" & 2. it means love metal. i dont see the words "satan" or "lucifer" anywhere in that meaning ex: people assumed that  was evil by people that dont understand it, when in actuality, it means love. there's something called 'testimony' d oyou know it? if you go preaching wearing the heartagram, people won't listen to you, sadly they guide themselves by LOOKS. And churches are very clear about those stuff. There's something called 'obedience' do you know it? if they tell you not to wear that crap (yes, crap, because it's a symbol used by one of the most crappy bands ever) you shouldn't. 1) I may not think that it is evil in its own right..BUT they used it because it is and they wanted to be hXc. They thought taking an "evil" symbol and morphing it was alright. To them it may not be evil but ask yourself this question would you wear that symbol if you met Jesus? 2) what did the love sign have ANYTHING to do with what we were talking about?

I thought it was "ity" In any case, the only good I can say about H-I-M is that they have (indirectly) helped a handful of teens dealing with heavy stress. I'd much rather go with Joy Division, Cinema Strange, or Sex Gang Children.
