If you could, would you power your house with clockwork and a crank?
  Yes!
Sometimes, like if the power is out
Probly not, it'd be fun for parties or something though.
  No, I doubt I would.
No way in hell! Thats stupid
What? You expect me to get off the computer and actually Turn a crank?! By Myself?! BLASPHEMY!

eheheheh... I forget the rules, but I could find Shondr's character sheet. No way am I losing a +3 sword! Plus, it'd help to have a decently armed character in the group...

you may have to help a bit with calculation...

Clockwork and steam-power in D&D. That's why I pray to a gnomish god. He helps with all inventions, even if most do still explode.

I always play a rogue, assassin or thief type whenever I can.
Except in my EverQuest days, I was a Necromancer and it was fun XD

yes, but in D&D, Iron golems can be purchased with the proper coin. And then you get a loyal clank to grind your enemies to dust.

Oh yes. Nothing like a loyal metal soldier to aid your nature-loving elf. XD.

And with an Iron golem, I'll save up enough with the extra loot-carrying capacity to get another one!

soon entire dungeons will fall before my army of iron! (my elf is Lawful Good, so he's unable to conquer nations... unless they're evil nations...)

Dragons will fear Shondr, for the name will carry with it hundreds of cold metal fists.

Are you kidding, Elves can bake really well.

Looking over the supply list, I saw 'Crowbar.' I should learn to master Improvised weapon and Gordon Freeman up a D&D game...

also, Am, the Captain was on the comics thread...
