Ryu then put his fingers near his blade's guard. "Bankai." he said as he released a large amount of reitsu. A large cloud of dust formed, when it cleared Ryu was standing there with blue armor, he had a Zanbato on his back along with his zanpakto which was at his side. "Shin Zetsumei." Ryu said as he grabbed the Zanbato from his back.

Ryu then fired a large concentrated blast of reitsu at the sky, but instead of going to the sun as intended it just hit the Soul Society's barrier. "Oh crap! I forgot about that." Ryu said as he hid behind a nearby rock. He was poorly hidden as he could be found easily. "Crap.... the old man might kill me for this stunt......"
