Dariel had been waiting for something like this to happen and used the shadows to his benefit. He pulled a partial poof giving his body the physical attributes of a shadow and letting the board pass through as if it had gone through nothing but air. "Ruler of the universe my a**, you can't even touch a shade. You want to rule the darkness you have to conquer the darkness and you aren't doing such a great job right now."

The baby thought about this, and adapted his stratagem. The lights of the room brightened intensely, and new lights formed where shadows once were. The entire chalet was bathed in bright, pure light. No shadows would be left. With this accomplished, the baby flung another board, on fire, at Dariel's smug ******** face.

The board smashed into Dariel's nose. The light hurt his eyes slightly. Dariel streched out his fingers and dimmed the lights again. He wouldn't let it get that bright again. He grabbed the ring on his right hand hand.

Yes do it you know you want to.

"Erica if things get too insane force this ring back on my finger." Without another word he slid the ring off and chunked it at Erica. Dariel hit the floor for a second and rose a different person. His smile grew twisted and insane, his eyes reflected a blood lust and hatred for all things good, and his stance seemed more loose almost as if his body dangled from invisible strings that hung from the air. "YeS it FEelS SO goOd to BE frEE" He drew his silver katana from it's sheeth. His nose healed renewed by the goddess dwelling inside of him. "NoW whO BroKE My seRVanTs nosE?"

This time Erica did not attempt to save Dariel, instead, she screamed in agony, and fell to the floor. Erica was still a vampire, and even though she was tolerant to sunlight, but purity, she was not. Her body ached as it drew in the light, as she, was a creature who lived too, in the shadows.

However, fear overbore the pain. Not fear for herself, but her child. She clutched her womb and curled up around it, trying to hide her child from the blinding light. She knew her unborn child was causing the increase in light, but he was a d'hampiel, and as such, should have been affected too.

Her knees came up as far as the could as she curled around herself, her back turning from marble white, to pink with burns from the light. Blood tears peaked from her eyes as she clutched her womb.

When the lights dimmed, the pain did too. Now it was like the throbbing ache of a sunburn, but nothing compared to the hellfire that the pure light was emitting.

The ring landed beside Erica with a clink as she tried to move her neck to look at him. The burns on her neck, back and arms were too painful to move very fast, but she tried. Her eyes widened when he transformed though, and even though her thankfulness for him being there for her was strong, her motherly instinct kicked in, and it was stronger than what she had felt for Dariel. Unknowing that her son could probably protect himself ten-fold from what Dariel could do, she still defended her only child, as motherly instinct demanded. Don't worry. I won't let him harm you. She smiled weakly to herself, as she remained curled up on the floor, her body a shield between the goddess's wrath, and her child.

((Dun dun dun dun dun dun dunnn! Psycho-mommy instincts FINALLY kicking in.))

The room grew even darker, almost to the point of true darkness thanks to the goddess. Dariel started teleporting at the speed of sound around the room disapearing almost as soon as he appeared, the only thing giving off his location being the sick insane laughter that had started to echo off the walls. "I caN SeE YOu CaN YoU SEe mE?" The silver of the katana jutted through the darkness straight for the baby in the womb.

The katana slid over the womb, not making contact with it. ******** this s**t. The egg cracked, and the Baby, full grown, phased through the womb into the dark room. He gave off an Azure glow... something wasn't right about him... He had no whites in his eyes, nor any iris. Just pure pupils. Nightmarishly dark with misty shapes floating through them.

"Well then b***h, I see the b*****d has gone under and you've taken over. Let me set a few thing's straight for you... I broke that wretch's nose, and I'd do it again... but for now... Let's do things my way."

His eyes closed, but it wouldn't matter much anyway, he didn't use his senses for the most part, his brain just picked everything up on it's own, processing the raw data. Two things happened at once. The first being a psychic sheild forming around Uriel, like a bubble, the second being that a Singularity opened up, sucking everything into the room... a miniature black hole at Uriel's command.

"Hold onto something."

((NOW he's pissed...))

It would take more than a black hole to stop the goddess. Dariel poofed into the shield that Uriel had put up. "LeT mE sET SoMeTHing StrAigHT. My SeRVanT, My pROpErty, mY nOseE. PlUs I ReAlLY wANt A reAsoN to KIll soMEthInG." Dariel was acting completely insane, divide by zero insane. It was as if he had no value over his life and had nothing to loose.

Uriel grinned in the dark, bingo. His Multi-Threading mind acting with inhuman speed. The black hole stopped, the bubble around Uriel and Dariel separated, forming one around each of them. They both glowed intensely. The shadows dispersed. It was a trap. Chains of pure light crisscrossed the area. These chains weren't just psychic projections, they were a divine power, and they cut through the darkness like a flaming chainsaw through butter. Urile looked Dariel dead in the eyes, the sheild slowly closing around him in a place where Shadows could not be.

"If you want the opportunity for death you stupid b***h, what are you doing with someone who so actively preserves life. There are plenty running around the school who would better serve your bloodlust... My father bing one of the best in that area... For a god, you really aren't that bright..."

(Yay! Catch-up type post.)

-insert reaction here. given that the rp has already moved on, her reaction to baby being like 'LOOK! Painless c-section!!' is irrelivant.-

Erica sat inside the bubble, bewildered at what happened. After staring in sheer confusion for a few moments, she smiled brightly, damn near forgetting their situation.

Normally one had to wait several years to see the full-grown entity of your child, and Erica just got instant results. Uriel made her proud, and she forgave, forgot, and wanted nothing more than to just hug her son. Which, she did.

"My boy!" She smiled happily and squeezed her arms around his waist. Still giving him room to move his arms, but an endearing hug from a mother who just had her child in less than a minute.

Dariel let out a sickening laugh, "YoU FoOl, DiD YoU HonEStLy THinK ThAT It WoULd Be ThAT EasY?" Strands of darkness wove around the chains. Uriel's mind may have been strong but the goddess' was stronger. With a poof Dariel disappeared. The insanity went on again as Dariel began to teleport around the room making his laughter bounce off the walls, "WhY WOulD I huRT SoMEoNe WhO sO ActIVEly ProMotES wHAt I loVE ThE MoSt?"

"Couldn't answer you on that one, considering that I'm after the same level of death that you are... perhaps more. Stupid c**t"

The room slowly started to shrink. Uriel ignored his mother clinging to his waist. She would be dealt with in time. They all would. As he weaved his powers though the very fabric of the room, he imagined the face of everyone he would kill... setting their nerves on fire inside their own bodies.... forcing them to watch as their loved ones screamed and writhed in agony... an agony so great that they wouldn't even be able to beg for death by the end, having screamed their throats to the point of bleeding. He grinned as he did this, sewing his power through every atom in the room slowly, as he created more chains as a distraction. When everything was said an done, the entire room would be bathed in pure white flame... The conflagration alone would be lethal to all b the strongest... and the light and heat... might as easily be standing on the sun... There was even the contemplation of splitting a number of the atoms while he was at it.

Once the room was lit all was silent and no trace of Dariel could be found except for the silver dragon ring on the ground. The goddess' voice rang through the room still no longer through Dariel's vocal chords but rather through her sweet manipulative voice, "Fine then, let's just see how much destruction you can cause. I might end up liking you yet. I'm watching you Uriel and I expect great things, horrible things but great."

Erica, the very childish wonder she could be, got angered at the very, very wrong thing about the Goddess's rant.

"He's my baby! I'm the one to be expecting the horribly doom that could be out of him! Mine!" She blew a raspberry at the vanished goddess and nuzzled her son's side. Once the goddess was gone, she stood and unclung herself from her son. Her childish nature faded, and she looked at him. "Are you truly my son?" She wasn't asking out of a disgusted tone, more so a wonder if she and Khane could have created something as wonderful as Uriel. He was perfectly crazy, and she loved it. "You seem too perfect to be." She smiled once more, and hugged her son again.

Uriel was too busy concentrating on something else to pay attention to his mother. His eyes had closed and he rocked back and forth ever so gently. The nightmare black of his yes, a black so dark is drained the room of it's light misted out from below his eyelids. Faces appeared in the mist, rising out just long enough to be noticed, then being sucked back down into the strange dark substance. No two face was identical. Some were male, some were female, young, old, pretty, ugly, round, square, but every face had one common trait. Sorrow beyond all sanity etched into their tiny, mist borne features.

As the dread parade of faces and inky, nightmarish black, cascaded down Uriel's face, he muttered. His voice low and almost guttural.

"Dance my minions dance, we'll all see the end before it's due."

Erica's body relished the dissapearing light, and she smiled even more. By this point she had stopped raving, and looked around at what was happening. Still attatched to her son's side, she observed, wondering where he got such amazing abilities, being still a newborn. She blinked a few times, then poked her son's side softly.

"Hmmn." She muttered softly to herself. She looked up at him after she poked him. "So, how are you so grown already? It makes no sense." she paused for a moment, then smiled. "But I love you all the same. Mine?" She said with a hopeful, kind smile.
