Katherine was thinking fast Matachi hadn't made a sound and she was growing worried. She didn't know if he had escaped it so she would throw Paradox's attention on her as she quickly made her dress more able to move about. Her soft fragile voice went up it sounded slightly heart broken from this. "Is this what you hoped for Paradox?" She was moveing she kept moveing. one of her small knifes in her hand. "How long, or did you plan to come to us all along and do this?"

(He doesn't really hate them. Paradox isn't' normally like this. He has been kind of weird since the temple.)

The General wasn't surprised that they dodged it. He couldn't actually kill them, but having a little fun was all that mattered right now. He couldn't feel either of their powers, but he knew they were using them. "Are you just going to sit there, letting me ruin you, or will you strike back?" Paradox mocked. The aura around whipped wildly around, bringing a rot that wouldn't let what it touched die. The bugs still battled for life even though they had been ripped apart. The tree healed, then fell apart again, again, and again. It had a kind of order to it, in it's chaos. He walked closer to Katherine.

(ya sweatdrop I am sorry about being so rude with the character. He is usually very nice to those around him. It's just that circumstances have changed.)

Katherine watched this watched what Matachi was doing. "Stop it!" Her voice very rarely ever shouted but she was now. "I want to know." She spoke they were going to go at it one might die and she would ever feel like it was her own fault. Her power that she very rarely used in any battle touched Matachi ever so slightly to make him slow, slow to a stop to make him feel heavy. To even trick his Sidiion she walked forward going to touch Matachi and her power would release. Her purple eyes looked to Paradox her power was tightly around her and Matachi. "I don't hurt those who i hold in my heart. I would never attack you unless i had to." She turned then hopeing Matachi would follow.

Matachi threw up his right arm exposing his new power that not even Katherine had seen yet. Pushing through her shield like object of power from where he was by her, a crescent moon shaped push of wind sliced from his arm ripping forward into the tree tearing it apart on impact sending a hurricane of splinters and tree parts over them "Paradox, Back down Now." Matachi said calmly exposing what he had fought Alastor truly with.

(oops! Sorry! Didn't check in fast enough. sweatdrop This really seems to be spiraling out of control. sorry. sweatdrop This should put an end to it. )

Paradox chuckled softly to himself. "I am going to ask it. Why is it, that you think I'm the one who needs to back down? hmm? The tree was all rot anyway. It wouldn't have hurt you more than making your clothes stink forever." Paradox said in a voice that was far off what he ussually said. In fact, it almost sounded arrogantly familiar. "It's not like you could kill me, anyway. An arm here, and a leg there. Can't really kill what's not alive anymore." The man continued. The aura seemed to swirel around the figure violently, infecting everything it touched with something that wasn't meant for this world. "In fact, You aren't even close to what I was made to- ughh." He said before crying out and gripping his chest. Paradox fell to his knees, and then onto his chest. The aura stopped suddenly, falling back into him. the area directly around the now still form was entirely dead, and would stay dead for a very very long time.
