She walked out into the camp her purple eyes adjusting to the light while she paused for a moment before she spoke again. She relized this person might live here, and then there it was the something more. She didn't know what she was but not mortal. She smiled all the same. Her smile of friendship and her soft fragile voice was charming. "You must forgive me for barging in on you. I had been lost for some time. My name is Katherine. I will be heading out, i am dreadfully sorry for this."

The smile was lost on her. She still had the book in her hands and debated putting it back on its shelf. Deciding it was a good idea, Gabriel stood and walked past the mirror to the shelf. The vampiress half hoped the stranger wouldn't notice her lack of reflection. "I don't mind. It's a rather nice change of pace."

Katherine was alittle dumb founded by the woman's answear she was waiting for someone that was mad or worse of course but someone who didn't care on others walking in there home. She didn't seem to care about the reflection or wasn't paying attention to it. What did you say to that? She hadn't even given a name either which was strange ..so Katheterine dismissed her words and turned to start walking again.

"My name is Gabriel, by the way." A large part of her didn't want Katherine to leave. Her blood smelled so sweet. Even the man with the pipe hadn't had blood so sweet. But while she didn't want her to leave, she was losing control slowly. The man told her where she could get this plant that was to be smoked and even offered to bring her more at a later date. Smoking would be her only way to pass the time once this girl left. But the blood was too tempting.

Katherine stopped her stepps turning with a soft smile on her lips. "It is a honor to meet you Gabriel." She spoke easily and then went on to polite conversation not knowing what else to do even though she had came from akward circumstances. Katherine had come in throw a cave and this girl or whatever she was lived in one. "I am afraid i have lost the time lately is it day or night now?"

Gabriel looked towards the cave exit. She could clearly see the trees and the forest floor beneath it. Maybe she would look for Kaleb's grave later. "It would be night. I don't leave much, but the time is something I do know. How are things in the outside world? It is quite obvious you don't live down here." The pipe already had the dried leaves in it. And now was most certainly not an appropriate time to light up. She left it were it was and looked around the cave. Katherine almost seemed to glow in the dark. No....she doesn't belong down here....

She noded some. "Quite well. My- I mean the people are quite well in Llyr although there is a lot of work to be done at the capital since the storm came through." She spoke easily. Her purple eyes shifted towards the exit for a slight moment. Night. When she had left it had been day. She wonderd if they had made it or was Alastor ready to.. She looked back she was putting Gabriel in danger. "Forgive me but a very bad man is after me, i don't want it to destroy your home so i should be going."

"This is not a home. It never was." Fear dripped off the girl. Something was scaring her and it wasn't being in a cave, at night, with a vampire. "And you are in more danger here than you are with that man. But what makes you think he would look for you in a cave. I already said you don't belong, so maybe you'd be safe from him here." Talking kept her mind of her hunger. Obviously this girl was important to someone. Why else would they chase after her? More information was needed, but Gabriel wasn't sure it would be freely given.

Katherine stature went from relaxed and friendly to ready for anything. Her purple eyes focused on the woman then and didn't look away not even for a moment. "I highly dout that." Her tone was still friendly even if her words weren't but she spoke truth. "don't become threating with those you don't know until you do." Her hands were by her side as she spoke.

Katherine smiled. Gabriel had given herself a way, only fools.. "Then i have no reason to fear you, that sweet taste can kill you before you could drain me. Now if you vaule your undead life you wouldn't want to be near me right now." She was still friendly but she spoke simpley. She was learning on this outing that others were not near as polite. It was almost a shock to her when Gabriel turned her back to her. A dismissing gesture so maybe Katherine should start walking again but she didn't.

That is why I never leave this cave." Her voice was almost sad. "And the undead do not have lives. They have un-lives. What you called my 'undead life' is a fake. I live, yet I am not alive. I do not wish to harm you..." Keeping her back to Katherine was a bold move for someone in her position. She was trusting that the girl would not harm her, but trust came at a price.

Grabbing the second sword of the clone, Alastor spun it and smashed the stone that the clone was made of. Though during his distraction that the clone had provided, he felt a cold steel pass through his chest. Looking back at Sekain, he gritted his teeth. "Never... by... you..."
