The lord looked up at the almost complete castle with distaste. It was a shadow of it's former glory, but basically the same. It could have done with some major improvements, but Lord Dracien couldn't change the builders minds. "Oh well." He shrugged. His mouth clenched around a firm red apple and savored the fruity juice. He was still in his Peasent clothes, but he just couldn't seem to rid himself of the way he carried himself. It was something he would have to learn as he sat at these docks. He had a lot of time waiting for word of the queen. A lot of time.

Katherine woke on the stone ground of the temple not relizeing she had fell alseep. How could she have fallen asleep with everything that was going on. Katherine looked around. No Alastor in here. That was good at least. She ran her fingres through her golden hair and strightend her blue gown as she stood up.

Matachi woke on bench that was against the wall, he had a few items with him there like a thing of water and something else. Seemed like he was drinking these for some reason

Katherine looked over towards Matachi seeing him she gave a slight smile. She walked towards him and sat down on the bench leaneing her back aginst the wall. She was silent though silent cause there was little to say. Plus a part of her was scared that any sound might stir Alastor back into wanting a fight.

Matachi looked at her as she sat down "None of my remedies worked." He said very quietly just for her to hear. Seems he was trying to fix his lung problem with different potions

Paradox was leaning against a wall behind the two. "remedies?" He asked quietly to himself. It seemed like there was more going on here than he was told. The general still gave off an aura that was clearly at odds with the godly power of the temple.

Sekain remained in his meditative state at the altar, he was the only thing that separated them and Alastor so he hadn't slept. He seemed too distant to be reached, he was focusing on the outside and anyone who wasn't deemed an enemy was shooed along or brought in, the majority shooed along. He was still sat his eyes closed his hands in fists, but he remained relaxed and peaceful, but awake.

Katherine looked towards Paradox. "Matachi took a blade for me." Katherine answeared to Paradox explaining that he was hurt. She still spoke softly. "I wonder when he will strike again." She said looking out towards the window coverd in vines.

Paradox looked towards where Alastor was. "Then, we might as well get ready. Do you know anything about trapping?" Paradox asked her. If Alastor was going to make it in, Paradox would make it hell getting to them.

It wasn't very often that Sekain took a breath, but when he did, the vines shifted allowing the breeze to slip through them and enter the temple, but they never opened they grew or shrank in a direction. The defense was air tight otherwise, vines upon thorns upon thorns, some were as big as an average human.

Katherine noded some. "Yes, a little. I went on a couple of hunts as a child. I know the rules and such." Hunts were always unpleasant, but she always enjoyed a well thought out plan." She paused a mintue looking back at Paradox. "Do you have a plan then?"

Paradox nodded his head. "I suppose you have never been hunted before. I do have a plan, though. The rules are similiar, but very much reversed. You know that he has to follow you, instead of chasing him into the trap, we can simply let him come to traps." Paradox said carefully. he didn't know what it would take to stop Alastor, but Paradox knew he could slow the man down.
