"Why the hell does it matter to you if I'm not here when you're awake?" The hostility in her tone was all but impossible to miss as Eden shot him a glare that was one of absolute determination not to be deterred from her current state of mind: angry at him. She had to focus and remember that all Ceon was to her was some dog that'd tried to kill her and her kid. He'd voluntarily chose not to be a part of her family even after she'd said she'd look past him trying to kill her so she was going by his last conviction he'd made when she'd seen him. So yeah he'd had her over for supper and within a few days she'd accidentally found out that she loved Veroen and he loved her in turn. Of course, again he was gone and had disappeared without saying a thing to her so naturally she was discouraged by this but that was aside from the point. Ceon had deliberately attempted to bring harm to her on more than one occasion and she wasn't about to forget it.
"You tried to kill me and you tried to kill this child so what makes you think I have anymore sympathy or compassion for you? Your temper and lack of willingness to talk things over with anyone is going to get you killed so I'd hardly invest time in caring about you. That way when you die it won't bother me in the least and you will have yourself to thank for that."Her words were cold and yet she'd spared him from what certainly would have been his undoing. If he was so blind as to claim that he had nothing to live for then perhaps she should have stood back and allowed Jadento put him out of his misery. If he didn't even value himself enough to live for himself then perhaps he was better off dead where he would finally be at peace instead of constantly struggling forward and hurting others.
After Eden had responded to Ceon she leaned her head full of black curls with the occasional green or purple strand against the wall and released a heaving sigh. She wanted Ceon to shut up, leave her alone and go to sleep so she didn't bother attempting to make further conversation with him when she had absolutely no desire to do so in the first place. Too many times had she forgiven people and given them second chances. Too many times had they taken advantage of her forgiveness and willingness to trust again and had hurt her. She definitely did not trust Ceon and she wished her conviction was more heartfelt on her part than it had sounded. However, Ceon was wrong about her reasons for saving him. It wasn't because he was the father of her child but because she could see he was lost and angry like she'd felt when she'd returned to this city, betrayed by all those she'd held dear.
She sighed in exasperation once more and began thunking her head against the wall over and over again in a constant tapping rhythym similar to water dripping from a tap over and over again. She was trying to drown out the silence by doing something because she was someone who hated silence and sitting still for long time periods since she grew restless easy. At the same time, though, she was trying her hardest to ignore Ceon and just look the other way so that she wouldn't talk to him and he'd leave her alone. Turning her cheek to Ceon, though, under normal circumstances probably would have meant a smack in the cheek but fortunately he was in no condition to get up and do so. After a few minutes, probably fifteen though it felt akin to days for the restless Edith, she finally relented and asked with evident displeasure, "Is there anything you're needing?"

"Actually..." Ceon struggled to lift himself up, but somehow managed. His legs were wobbly as he began walking towards her, "I have to give you something. Something I should have given you since the day you learned you were pregnant." Ceon placed his hand on her shoulder and looked her sincerely in the eyes.

Meredith's hazel eyes displayed nothing but suspicion from overtop the rims of her aviators, which she'd pushed down to the end of her nose as she stared up at Ceon. Her eyes easily met his but they were not grateful to meet his nor pleased and she didn't know what to make of the hand on his shoulder. However, the first thing she said was, "Why the hell are you walking about when your legs were just brutally exploded from within? Go lay down, you stupid wolf. Whatever you have to give can wait until later when you're not trying to kill yourself to give me whatever it is you're talking about. Are you stupid or something? You're just going to take longer to heal if you keep pulling s**t like this now lay down. Jesus."

"I'm tired of waiting, Eden...I don't care if I'm in pain. I'm used to it..." Ceon's teeth slowly grew into fangs. It's better that you get this sooner than later. I'm tired if being a screw up..I want to do something right for once.."

"Yeah before you go through with the whole biting and salivating on me business maybe you want to think this through before you do end up being a screw up again. There's absolutely no one here that's in any condition to stop me if I happen to not be able to control myself as a lycan so I suggest you wait until one of your friends or yourself gets better before doing that because if I killed one of them then we'd both be in a whole lot of s**t." She looked him with complete and utter seriousness. She didn't want to be responsible for the deaths of these three if she happened to be incapable of controlling herself. There was no way of knowing if she was going to be one of those feral lycans after being turned or if she would be perfectly fine with the transformation.
"And you may not care but I do!" She realized she slipped up and quickly covered it with a, "Because I'm going to get in s**t if you end up getting yourself killed because I'm supposed to look after you. Now behave or I'll knock you out from under your feet and make you lay down and rest. Or how about this? I promise I'll be here when you wake up so that way you can bite me once you're better and then this doesn't have to turn into a huge brawl or argument." It was pretty clear that Meredith wasn't going to budge now that she'd made her decision and she continued to sit though she was fully prepared to hoist herself out of Ceon's range if he happened to attempt anything.

(( those bones should splinter in multiple places by now... no matter how noble a reason they are being used to support weight. ))
Jadens body suddenly convulsed brutally and he hacked up blackend blood with silver streaks. Surprisingly this seemed normal for the great beast in it's own healing process. If any Lycan had just pushed himself like Jaden had their heart would have completely given out.

Sibyl, at first, hadn't felt very comfortable allowing the human girl to tend to her since she had no idea who she was or whether her intentions were pure or not. However, she sensed no malice within the girl and the girl told her she was there to help so she decided to just allow the girl to help her. She managed to dig the tiny silver fragments out of her from the silver nitrate casing and as for the silver in her system, well, that was something she was going to have to wait for her antibodies to break down. It made her feel weaker and somewhat ill but it probably didn't have as nasty an effect on her as most. Electricity was her enemy since it made it more difficult to maintain and hold onto her form with electricity screwing up her magnetic field.
The wolf was now resting her muzzle upon the ground inbetween her two massive front paws, too tired to think too much of anything else. However, Jaden's abrupt convulsion caused the wolf concern and she made her way over to him, her wounds healing quite steadily though her neck was definitely taking longer than her leg. Gently the multi-coloured wolf laid beside him and began tending to the smaller surface wounds with which she could help. She decided to focus on his left shoulder, the wounded one and began licking it instinctively to assist him in healing. The wolf didn't sense that Jaden was yet conscious but she wasn't certain how fast he was healing for sure or not either.

Jadens body jerked involuntarily when his wound was licked but it seemed like he calmed down quickly. It was amazing, his minor wounds had all begun healing the second they were made, and his left shoulder had stopped bleeding. It wasn't from Sibyls licking it was just how his body was made, and right now his shoulder was remaking itself, slowly but surely. Sinew fought against the silver in his veins as his body reconstructed. A few hours and he would have been superficially repaired, a few more and then close to fully repaired. The multi-colored wolf only provided comfort to his painwracked form. But even that small amount was enough to ease his suffering.

The wolf was uncertain as to whether or not her licking would help Jaden in any way but within her own pack their saliva had healing properties and assisted in quicker recoveries. For the most part it healed surface wounds and just helped keep anything foreign from entering the body but since their immune systems were extremely powerful and their bodies tolerant of most harmful viruses and bacteria it wasn't particularly required. However, out of instinct the multi-coloured wolf now laid beside her alpha tending to his wounds as she would have one of her own kind though she was uncertain as to whether or not she was having any effect.
When the massive wolf's body jerked the multi-coloured one's fur slightly bristled, signifying she was tense and aware, prepared to spring at any given moment since Jaden would probably be slightly disoriented and unaware of what was happening. However, when the wolf's body laid itself down once again and seemed to overcome with ease again she relaxed herself. The wolf continued to lick at his shoulder for a bit but once the surface wound began to heal up she chose to leave Jaden be for the time being though she refused to completely up and leave.
The wolf knew that Ceon would most likely be angry about his 'loss' against Jaden and she wasn't certain how desperate Ceon had become to defeat Jaden so while he was hibernating, the wolf insisted on remaining near him at all times. The human girl had walked over and tried to check up on her and she'd refuse to budge and simply snarled at her. She'd taken a protective stance and now that the silver shards had been taken out of her, she was not particularly happy to see company. The wolf, in essence was trying to rest though she was not falling completely and utterly asleep, thus her wounds were not healing quite as fast as Jaden's or Ceon's and because her healing properties probably did not match the Alpha wolf's rate of insane healing. However, her bleeding had ceased by now too and the bullet wounds were steadily knitting themselves together.
Next her system was going to work on breaking down the silver, which wasn't quite toxic to her but more of a nuisance than anything. It thickened her blood uneccessarily so her anti-bodies were quickly working to break down the substance though it wasn't causing her any particular harm at the moment. Naturally there was a slight amount of pain as it seeped through cell walls but for the most part the liquid silver was swiftly being dealt with and would plague her no more likely before either Jaden or Ceon awoke.

(( Yes yes fine. I was about to skip things anyway. But to lay things down here's what's going on. Ceons legs have splintered into multiple compound fractures in both legs. Meredith splinted both of them out of the unexplainable kindness of her heart. Healing will be a problem. Jaden hasn't been moved and doesn't seem to respond to anything. Sibyl is healing but cuddling up against Jaden. Meredith stayed behind all night but is upset with all the wolves in the room. That is all. ))
Almost exactly 36 hours after his body crashed Jaden sat bolt upright on the floor, not showing any creaks or strains from the previous fight, only a new jagged scar that gently traced three points on his left shoulder. Glancing over at Sibyl for a moment he traced his red eyes around the room at Ceon and Eden left sleeping. The damage to the room had been considerable, to say nothing of the floor above. The fight had been a brutal affair but not the worst that the black wolf and been involved in before. Leaning over he sniffed at Sibyl before biting the scruff of her neck gently an tugging her awake.

Ceon's eyes slowly opened, as the events from last night seemed to collect in his head. It appeared that only Jaden was awake besides him. He tried to sit up, but fell back down the instant his legs moved. He muffled a shout as he felt multiple pieces of his legs broken away from each other. "********......" he muttered as he lay back, trying to catch his breath.

Meredith, for one, had been startled and roused by the muffled shout, having practically fallen asleep directly beside Ceon out of exhaustion and inability to continue watching over them due to fatigue. She'd slumped down for one moment to close her eyes for a tiny nap and she awoke to a morning with a lycan that'd pretty much scared the bejesus out of her. The huntress immediately jolted awake and jumped back a few feet and was about to take a fighting stance when she remembered that she'd spent the night making sure that lycans didn't bleed to death. When she registered that it'd been Ceon that'd scared the s**t out of her and it'd been because he was being an idiot she sighed. "Look bud. You're absolutely grounded until those legs heal and from the sound of those nasty cracks before they were fractures and now they're turning into breaks so just keep it cool."
For a moment, however, Eden forgot how pissed she was at the wolf as he sat there practically completely helpless and susceptible to attack. The huntress wished there was some way to help him but besides getting him a wheel chair so that he didn't bust every bone in his leg there wasn't much she could do. She also noticed that Jaden was waking up and she warily looked over to him and decided she was going to sit next to Ceon for the time being to assure the lycan didn't try anything. There was really no telling if he was going to do something to start a fight again or not, for either of them really. To be honest she had no idea who had started the fight in the first place but either way it didn't matter. She wasn't going to let Ceon partake in an unfair battle. She actually turned over to look at him with her warm hazel eyes and asked, "You alright? Anything you need?"

The wolf growled in surprise and sprang awake upon feeling teeth anywhere near her neck and she was about to turn around and face her opponent when she realized that it'd been Jaden that'd nipped her. She was slightly confused that he'd been able to get close enough to her to n** her even though she'd been asleep since her instinct usually woke her up before anything had a chance to touch her while asleep. Sibyl quickly disregarded this fact though and her teeth were no longer bared at Jaden but instead the wolf began panting happily and she also let out a happy yip. Followed by that was her muzzle gently rubbing against his ears and then she took a playful n** and bounded away uncannily far for a single leap and came to sit at the other side of the room. Her wolven features were pulled up in one of her wolven grins, suffice to say she was ecstatic to see Jaden's improved condition.
All of her wounds had healed over by now and the bullet wounds had no signs or traces of even being there but for the tiniest of rashes which would probably disappear in a few hours. However, the wolf, as she sat, lifted one of her hind legs in order to itch her front leg as well as her neck. The wolf's coat was still caked with dry blood but she didn't seem to mind all that much. Even though she wasn't all that alarmed by the dried blood, she decided to begin cleaning herself anyhow after she lowered her leg and ceased scratching herself. The wolf began combing her fur by running her teeth through it, slowly, bit by bit removing the dried blood that'd settled within her beautiful multi-coloured coat. Clearly Sibyl had already made a full recovery with only the tiniest hints of silver nitrate running through her blood stream, which had already eaten away most of it by releasing a special chemical unique to Sibyl's kind.
