Sibyl's awareness or grasp on reality kept fading in and out, one moment she was there observing the battle and the next she was somewhere else completely though she could hear distant growls, roars and whimpers. She kept forgetting where she was, why she was where she was and what was happening and while she was sitting in the white mist of her own mind trying to determine that she just felt the answer slipping farther and farther away from her. It was like a word on the tip of her tongue, she knew the answer and the distant sounds in the background were there to remind her that she did in fact know the answer and yet they did not help her to remember. Something was keeping her from remembering and the trail she'd been treading was becoming more and more visible to her.
Once again she was about to embark upon her endeavor to locate the thing she'd been tracking but one of her senses violently revisited her and her nose told her that someone else was there. Her eyes, however, could not readjust to focus properly and her nose and instinct were working as one, telling her the new presence was prey as well as something else. Again the fogginess set in and Sibyl began attempting to decode what she was sensing when her sight came back to her and the battle was there before her with a tall woman that reminded her of a modern day Amazon. She stood there definantly, perhaps defending Ceon and then the wolf detected that this woman was a mother carrying child and then she understood.
The wolf looked to Jaden only to see that he was still horribly out of it though he clearly wasn't the only one. He was in his killer mode, ready to fight to the death and she wasn't certain that he would readily spare an obstacle barring his path to his objective, no matter what portion of innocence it represented. However, Sibyl knew she could no longer stand idlely by and allow Jaden to claim the life of an unborn pup for she was certain he would never forgive himself even if the pup should never have been conceived in the first place. She observed further and realized that Jaden did not register the significance of this human's presence and that he was going to cut through her if something was not done.
Sibyl did not hesitate. One moment she was on the ground and the next she was barrelling toward Jaden's side in order to intercept him and prevent him from harming the foolish girl that meant to stand in his path. Of course, Sibyl was not as strong physically as Jaden was but she was still extremely powerful though her speed was more dangerous than her brute strength. However, as she barrelled toward him she was building up speed in order to place her full force into him to redirect him and keep him from doing something he would regret. She was prepared for him to turn on her and begin fighting her since he didn't seem to recognize anyone anymore but that was necessary to keep him from harming others. Had it been Ceon she was not so certain she would have intervened but both her and Ceon agreed on this matter, that this girl was not to be harmed and thus Sibyl grasped Jaden's right arm as arm body smashed into his and sent them sprawling off elsewhere as a bullet flew past the spot they'd been in seconds before, two having embedded themselves in Sibyl, one in her neck, one in her shoulder.

Jadens rage addled mind suddenly veered off in surprise. This was a fight yes but why had he suddenly veered off into the ground? The great wolf was not concious of any additional damage to his legs that would cause this. Glancing down from his position he noticed that the furry Sibyl was latched on to his good arm. Pausing for a moment in his wolfen instincts he nuzzled her wounded form. before prying her off of his arm. Return to reality was unplesant but necessary. The pain in his left arm and shoulder was excruciating. Ignoring the pain of his own body he was more concerned that Sibyl was injured worse now and Ceon was the cause. As he came to his feet the massive bloodstained wolf twitched his left hand. At the same moment there was something like a twenty small explosions within Ceons legs as the living runes burst from him to fly through the air and return to Jadens left arm. The effect of the runes was something like shuriken launched with the speed of bullets from within the body. The wounds would take at least a day and a half to heal if they were tended properly. It was lucky that the other Lycan hadn't had his major veins and arteries split open instead of just his bones and muscles. Watching the mist of blood Jaden flexed his right paw, his claws gleaming as he advanced, his own blood trickling from his mouth.

Sibyl's leg or would be arm in human form definitely wasn't going to feel very good for the next few days. Ceon had severed it and now she'd had it severed all over again before the tissues had been given a chance to mend themselves back together. However, as she'd crashed into Jaden's form to both spare him from more bullets in his system and to keep him from harming the girl, she'd completely lost her grip on his arm and had sprawled off a ways away from him. She'd rolled a little and her landing hadn't been pleasant nor cushioned but she would definitely live. However, she didn't feel much like getting up for she had an instinctive urge to sleep and rest but she decided she wanted to make sure Jaden was alright. Her neck, though, was pretty sore and it'd torn a nice hole through her and that was when she realized she was lying in a pool of her own blood.
The wolf softly whimpered when Jaden took hold of her form and nuzzled it though the whimper was not from pain but from protest. She wished him to stop before he harmed himself further and she gently tried to soothe his pain by licking his left palm, which she was certain would do nothing but it was wholly instinctive of her to do so. However, when Jaden set her down and looked over to Ceon she simply laid there and began tending to her shoulder wound though her neck was bleeding over her coat as well.

Ceon shouted in pain as rune-shaped cuts grew all over his legs and fell to the ground, a small pool of blood forming at his legs. The burning didn't seem to go away, and his muscles weren't repairing like they were supposed to. He looked up at Jaden with intense hatred: Jaden was more of a demon than Daiguren was, and Daiguren was an intense demon. Ceon's eyes dissolved into two black sockets as he grew berserk, and he began picking himself up once more. Blood spilled from his legs as he stood, but the pain became less noticeable as he gave up his mind to his berserk side. Ceon's muscles bulged and silver-colored fur covered his body and he let out a malicious roar at Jaden.

Jaden was more casual in what he was doing now that his battle frenzy had died down. He was simply a focused combatant at this point. To be more accurate he was an executioner at this point. As he continued walking towards Ceon he plunged his claws into one of the broken down cars. Lifting the machine up he swung it into the silver wolfs chest like a hammer. "You're done."

Ceon was thrown back against on of the walls, nearly breaking through to the alley. Ceon layed motinless against the wall, eyes just barely open. He was breathing heavily and the skin on his chest was lacerated from the blow, causing a large gash across his chest. You think someone with nothing to live for is going to give up like that? Ceon gripped the side of a desk and painfully pulled himself up, his legs growing weaker and weaker. His jaw was dropped as he gasped for air, and severak if his fangs were chipped.

Meredith obscured Ceon's path as he rose to challenge Jaden once again though he'd been thrown to the ground and against the wall and clobbered with a car just moments ago. She placed her hands on either side of his muzzle and her hazel eyes stared into the dark cesspools that his now consisted of. "Enough, Ceon," she whispered calmly, hoping he would listen for his own sake. She didn't want to see him die, she really didn't yet she probably should have been the most willing to see him die after all he'd put her through and had done to her. Yet here she was trying to save him and get him to stop before he suffered something completely irreversible. "Why are you turning on your family? The ones who would see to it that you're safe no matter what? Does this give you satisfaction to put them through this? I can't imagine the pain I'd be going through if one of my hunters forced me to battle with them to the death."
"Just stop for a moment, cool down, think about this: What are you gaining from this, Ceon? Seriously. Tell me what you're hoping to accomplish by destroying the very place you live in. I think we should go for a walk or something and have a chat, just us, you and me." She proceeded to grab one of his hands, hoping that he wouldn't insist upon trying to fight Jaden when he clearly wasn't even in the condition to be standing. He could barely support himself as it was and seeing him now, he was a pretty pathetic and non-threatening sight to behold. "On second thought a walk is a bad idea in your condition, you should be resting somewhere or something."

"Yes." Jaden rumbled, hoisting the car on his back like one would an extremely heavy sword; it was ment to look like it was for show but the truth of the matter was that he probably only had the strength to swing it once more before the exertion would cause him to pass out, already lifting the damn thing had caused him to lose his peripheral vision. "If you had nothing to live for then this would be a fitting death for you and you would accept it. The fact you are not shows you have something to live for." He slowly advanced on the wounded Lycan, not that he could be considered much better (though Ceons attempts at moving had done far worse damage to his legs if he hadn't simply laid still). "You're not a loser Ceon. If you were then I would have killed you a long time ago. Instead you have made mistake time and again because of sheer idiocy, mistakes that could have destroyed this pack. And yet due to some misplaced notion that you showed promise I simply beat on you instead of killing you." The runes that lived in Jadens left arm swirled happily throughout Ceons body. Malicious as they were they thought that very soon they would have the same blood that their returned comrades had. The red marks crawled up to the surface to see better and get better shots, causing Ceons skin to glow with the red marks through his fur. "I need you to move girl." Jaden snarled to Meredith. "The wolf that impregnated you needs to be punished."

"Move," Meredith challenged, "or you'll do what? I'm not standing aside so you can hurt him even more than he already is. Haven't you beaten him enough? He can barely stand for God's sake just drop it and leave it at that. I think he's suffered enough already and has been punished accordingly. And that wolf has a Goddamned name, Jaden, just like you do, just like I do. Clearly hurting him isn't making him feel he is safe within your pack so perhaps you should resort to other methods of reasoning instead of kicking the crap out of eachother. Sure he's done some idiotic things and seems to be doing exactly that right now but as many times as you've looked past it address it here and now again so he's clear and punishment has already been administered." Stubbornly she remained in front of Ceon, refusing to budge, adamant that she was not going to stand by and watch Ceon be tortured anymore than he already had been. Her axe was still drawn in the instance that Jaden proved to be hostile toward her because she was barring his path to Ceon.

The moment Ceon took a step forward, he collapsed to the ground, his legs no longer able to support him. His fur retracted back into his skin and he was once more human, bloody and bare. He was out of strength, and it was because of Meredith that he still had a breath left in his body.

Jadens legs began to shake, though not to noticably. He was almost completely blind at this point. It was important not to let them know he was almost done. "Fine then." he muttered to Meredith. "He's your responsibility now. So if he wakes up before me and tries to kill me again it will be on your soul. You should just know what you're getting into." Twisting slightly he dropped the car to the side before beginning to sway. "And since you are currently responsible for Ceon you will also tend to Sibyl to insure she survives. It will become good practice for if you become a mother. Just don't touch me." With that statement the massive black wolf fell over and crashed into the ground on his good shoulder, making sure that the runes removed themselves from Ceons body before Jaden blacked out. Now that he was hibernating the massive wolf would not feel the pain that was sure to follow.

Meredith had never promised she was going to nurse anyone back to health, hell, she didn't even know where to begin to tend their wounds, really. She'd never had to deal with a bloody, hurt lycan let alone three of them though she assumed Jaden meant she wasn't supposed to try and help him by his statement of 'don't touch me'. Whether it was a threat or not, she had no idea but she hadn't intended to stick around after she made sure that Ceon hadn't gotten himself killed. She was still kind of angry with him and she was supposed to uphold the front that she didn't give a damn about him, which would be awfully hard if she was the one nursing him back to health. However, before the massive wolf collaspsed she nodded and made this promise to him: "Don't worry, big guy, it won't be my soul your death is on, promise. Just get better."
The moment Ceon had stepped forward, though, Meredith had been close enough to catch him mid fall and gently set his human form to the ground. She wasn't certain how she was to help but she decided to go scrounge about Ceon's apartment in order to locate some possible healing supplies that would assist her in keeping Ceon and Sibyl alive. She decided on towels and blankets, which she stripped from the beds that were there. Towels were found in the bathroom and in the cabinet she found not all that much. She didn't know what to do to help these lycans. Did they need disinfectant? Did lycans get infected? Ceon was certainly going to need stints and she managed to find some pieces of flat board in order to tie them to his legs to assure the bones healed properly.
Meredith got to work, trying not to rush too much because she didn't want to do a completely shitty job of splinting Ceon's legs since they'd have to break them again if they healed improperly. The huntress began by finding a sink and cleaning Ceon's numerous wounds along his legs and used some hand sanitizer she happened to have on her though she knew that it would probably prove more useless than not. In spite of that, though, she hoped it would help somehow and help him to get better faster and she moved onto the splints. She gently set the planks on either side of his legs and securely tied them with some wire she managed to find and decided to tend to his stomach after she assured Sibyl, which had to be the other wolf lying all on her own far away from the scene was alright.
She then gently knelt beside the wolf that was seemingly bleeding excessively and had fallen back to tend to its own wounds. However, when Meredith got too close the wolf growled and slightly snapped at her so she got frustrated for a moment and said, "What gives? I'm supposed to help you so just make this easy for the both of us and just let me help you so that the big wolf over there doesn't get pissed off at me because I let you die. He specifically requested I make sure you get better so just bear with me here." She pulled out a towel and some tweezers since the nitrate bullets often had tiny shards of silver left over from the bullets bursting upon imbedding itself in the skin so she picked at the leg and neck where the wolf had been wounded and picked out a few flecks. She then wrapped two towels around the wolf's neck and leg to assure she didn't bleed to death but from there Meredith had no idea what to do so she sat beside the wolf and gently patted her on the head and decided to check up on Ceon again and sat beside him though she wasn't sure if he was conscious or not but not before covering all three wolves with a blanket and giving Ceon and Sibyl a pillow to lie upon.

Ceon looked up at Meredith and chuckled slightly. No matter what he did, she always came back to him. "Why did you come, Eden? I thought you didn't want to see me again." Ceon grimmaced in pain as Eden placed the pillow under him.

Edith turned to frown at Ceon, clearly not amused by him laughing. She didn't like him laughing at her because she had no idea why he was laughing at her and it made her paranoid that he knew something that she didn't. "What are you laughing at?" The huntress gave him an attempt at a cold look though it came off more childish than anything. She didn't want Ceon to think she gave a damn because that would just make her a push over, which she absolutely wasn't. He wasn't going to get on her good side again after what he'd done, he'd almost killed her for Godsake and yet she couldn't bring herself to shoot him right here, right now to end both of their misery. She'd done quite the contrary, she'd just saved his life and now he was asking her why.
"None of your business, shut up and rest." She seemed to become rather hostile after the question and folded her arms and slammed her back against the wall, staring at nothing in particular as she did so. She had to remember that she was ******** pissed at him and that he had no right to be talking to her or asking her anything. He had been the one in the wrong, not her and she wasn't about to forget that he'd tried to kill their child. Yet there was the dilemna of having to ask him to assure that their child survived and that she was there to care for their child when it came time to give birth to it so she would eventually have to face her stubborness and pride, which did not appeal to her in the least.

"If I fall asleep, I might wake up later and you might not be here. 'Cause I know, no matter how much you hate me.....deep down you care about me because I'm the father of your child." Several of his normal gashes began to heal over, but the cuts from the runes remained as if they had just been made.
