Leafheart couldn't watch Shimmerpelts kits and go look for Rustheart even tho Shallowstream wanted her to she meowed "Silverwind."
Silverwind bounded over to Leafheart and meowed"What?"
Leafheart meowed "Can you go find Rustheart."
"Yes." Silverwind meowed and went to go look for him.

Rustheart smiled at the kit, not realizing the danger, and meowed through his fresh kill,"We'll see Shallowstream when we get back to camp, don't worry Flashkit, I'm sure she's alright." He began padding back to camp, a little faster, but still at a trotting pace that the kit could keep.
Shallowstream was becoming desperate, she acnowlaged her mother's gentle care, but just barely. She quieted down just enough to stop pacing, but she still looked around frantically and often,"Where is Rusteheart? Mother where is he?" She turned to look into the older she-cat's eyes and wispered breathlessly,"Is he coming back?"

Mosspelt heard Shallowstream making a ruckus and looked out to see her mother trying vainly to calm the young queen down. Thinking quickly, she grabbed some Thyme and whispered to Shimmerpelt,"Could you try to get her to eat some of this? It should help her calm down some, and if she get's worse come ask for some poppy seeds." She then quickly crossed back across the clearing to where Shatteredkit lay, the poor thing was breathing faintly, and had stopped coughing. Mosspelt sent up a quick prayer to Starclan that the young kit would survive the night, for her sake, and her mother's.

Mistykit looked up to see Lillykit padding over, she sighed softly and turned to the other kit, meowing,"I hope my mom's ok, she hasn't been like this in a long time, I don't know how she's gotten so scared... Doesn't she care about the rest of us?" She looked over and saw that her siblings had heard her, and felt her fear.
Frostkit began sharing tounges with Mistykit trying to comfort the both of them, she was panicking and he knew that she would get very scared soon if their mother didn't come back soon.
Oakkit joined the circle with his brother, sister, and Lillykit, shareing tounges with the other kit quietly, he was also aware of Mistykit's plight, for her felt the same. At near panic he started licking Lillykit with faster and faster stokes, hoping that his mother would be alright soon.
Pondkit was the last to join her siblings, she may have been the most rambunctious, but even she was scared for her sister and mother. She quietly prayed to Starclan, begging them to help her mother and sister get through this alright.
Shatteredkit was beyond feeling now, and the only thing that kept her thin thread of life from breaking was Mosspelt's voice and her soothing thouge. She felt the Medicine Cat leave briefly, but soon the she-cat was once again gaurding and protecting the little kit. Raising her head Shatteredkit gave a faint wail, hoping that she wouldn't go on to Starclan just yet, and that they would help her be strong.

Nightsky wacheted her three kits playing around and kept an eye on Nightshadow's kit like if they were her own.
Ashkit Pounced on Shadowkit.
Firekit Pounced on Ashkit. And started to Play fight with her.
Shadowkit wachet them roll off of her and start to fight. She giggles.

Solarkit climbed back down from the tree, and went towards the medicine cat's den. Peering in he saw Shatteredkit. Walking in, he sat beside Mosspelt and started to share tongues with her. "C'mon Shatteredkit," he mewed softly. "You gotta get better so we can go play together." His ears twitched slightly, as he looked at the weak kit.
Flashkit raced past Rustheart, his kit eyes happy. "C'mon we gotta hurry," he mewed over his shoulder.
Nightkit sat on the tree, looking at the sky. Her ears were back, as she continued to think about her mom, trying to picture her.

"Rustheart is coming" Shimmerpelt mewed softly. "Silverwind went to find him....
Here eat some of this-" She pushed the thyme to Shallowstream with her paw. "It will make you feel better."
Lillykit started to purr trying to soothe her half-sisters and brothers((I guess that's what they would be...))
and herself. Please StarClan! Don't take Shatteredkit yet!

Nightsky looked up and saw nightkit. "Nightkit whats are you doing up there?" She mewed In a sweet tone.

Crimson padded out of the den and starred at Nightsky who was starring at Nightkit."Wow, how are you going to get down?"She mewed to Nightkit. "And why is that kit up there?"She meowed to Nightsky with a hint of amusement in her voice.

Tearstorm pads to the tree and sees Nightkit up there. "Are you okay, Nightkit?" She meows softly, with a slight twinge of cncern in her voice.

Moonstar returned to the camp slowly. While he still loved Echosong, he understood why they couldn't be together and he was ready to deal with that. Or at least he thought he was.
He headed immediately to Mosspelt's den. There was nothing better than the comfort of a good friend. And she was one of the only cats who knew about him and Echosong.
