if carnifexs were troop choices i'd kill myself.
i failed to kill one with 2 twin-linked lascannon shots, 2 plasma cannon shots and a s**t load of heavy bolters,
it eventualy ate all my men.

The author is the same guy who did the Guard codex, so we can expect some pleasant surprises.

I think she means the reaction above yours.
But yes, the horde army is coming back and the Nidzilla army is in decline. In return you might get a nice plastic Trigon and recut Gaunt boxed sets, maybe even plastic Gargoyles and a new Hive Tyrant that isn't a b***h to assemble properly.
You can also expect most of the good stuff to be removed or tinkered with so that they are more expensive or less effective.

It'll be interesting to see what comes out. Maybe some 'Nid characters again?

In Response to SGT. OBrien and his fluff approach, I'm actually curious considering that the orks and nids have been going at it for the longest time now. And if anything I'd love to see Nid characters with reputations among orks maybe a Carnifex with the name "Big Toof." I don't know something orky.

Carnifexes as troops? Sure. Feel free. I will dump every last ounce of points that I have into melta, plasma, and Instant Death causing weapons. Then I'll hunt out your Synapse creatures first and then eviscerate what's left of your force.

Synapse wont matter if your fex's are not affected by it... so yea... and alot of warriors will ensure im never without.
