Tamao
Tamao giggled as Hedoro burbled, she wondered if it had been intentional? She didn't laugh too much, she had the feeling that Hedoro was self-conscious enough to not like being laughed at. But she hadn't been able to hold back at least a small giggle, it had been funny. She smiled, and decided to do the same. Settling a bit lower in the hot water, she breathed through her nose and made bubbles from exhaling through her mouth. It kind of tickled, so she had to stop and rub at her face a little. She straightened up and leaned back, resting her head on the shelf surrounding them, and looked up at the sky. By now it was getting dark, she could see stars showing up in the sky already. She sighed, she was feeling pretty relaxed right about now. Glancing over at Hedoro, she wondered if she felt the same. She kind of hoped so. If she did, then maybe they could do this again some time. She was pretty sure they were already friends, but she wanted Hedoro to know that she'd be there for her no matter what. And the easiest way to show her that seemed to be actually being there for her, and doing things like this.

"So what your saying is--" Before the NIT could continue training, a loud whine was eminating from outside of the door. Chey looked at Kuma and opened the door, allowing a knee high dog strut its way through and sit patiently behind Kuma. "An aquatence?" Chey asked. Kuma smiled a bit and shot a quick glance at his dog. The brown pup gave him a "what?!" look and layed down, covering his face with his paws. "Yeah, that's Nazu. He was supposed to say OUTSIDE...but anyway..." He looked back and smiled, then continued. "so the effectivness of the clone is comparable to amount of chakra concentration and distribution."
"Redundant .... but yeah, thats what makes the bushin technique work."

Kuma put his hands together and make the quick signs for the Bushin. "Bushin no Jutsu." a stylistic smoke circled to the side of him and a mirror image of Kuma appeared next to him, smiling with a big beam of a mouth. Chey looked a bit puzzled. "Your bushin took almost no effort did it? Why is that?" As Chey finished, the original Kuma smiled as well. "I never really knew the technique's name but I often used it when i was younger to create a scapegoat when i got introuble with my mom or dad." "So I take it, you got away with alot?" The NIT laughed "no, i couldnt do a Henge to change my clone to Nazu back then if my life depended on it. I've only mastered the Henge recently thanks to your pointers. My parents always saw through it."
Nazu barked in a mocking manner and Chey chuckled. "Apparently Nazu doesnt like being the scapegoat." "Yeah. I had some bitmarks to prove it too, hehe." (bushin no jutsu = 2/3)

"Ok Inuzuka, for this last part of training, I want you to create another bushin and this time use a henge afterwards to transform it into Nazu." The pup looked on quizzically as Kuma followed orders. "Bushin no Jutsu." A clone took form and turned towards its orginals pet. It nelt down and petted the pup but the dog felt nothing. Kuma kept his hands together and concentrated some more. "Henge." A small poof overcame the clone as Nazu jumped up and started barking. In front of him was another Nazu. As the clone and the original circled each other, the clone lept at Nazu. The dog lept as well, pinning the original down. The clone attempted to bite the dog, but a quick WHAP with it's paw turned the clone to nothing. Chey explained before Kuma could ask. "A bushin will look just like the person or item its intended to look like, but the difference here is that bushin cannot physically harm or touch something, though it will go through the motions. A Kage Bushin, on the otherhand, can and will physically damage an object if given the order. I think we can call this one a pass." (Bushin no Jutsu = COMPLETE)
Chey smiled and looked at Kuma once more.
"Ok, attack me." He said and Kuma looked at him quizzically. Before he could ask, the instructor slapped slapped him upside the head. "What was that fo-- OUCH!" Kuma put another hand up to block one hand but was quickly smacked with the other. Nazu took the initiative and pounced on Chey. YIP! the dog barked as he mad contact with a puff of smoke and a textbook. The book and dog hit the floor, the dog getting up slightly peeved as a lightbulb lit up Kumas head.
"oh... kawarimi no jutsu." He said as Chey popped up from behind a nearby desk. "Exactly." (Substitution = 1/4)

"Ok, but the question is: do I have to be attacked for it to work?" Kuma looked a little uneasy as Chey's warm smile became a little sadistic. "Oh heavens no, its not necessary...." He said as he quickly pulled out several shuriken and swung at both boy and dog. "But it's a little fun...on my part..." The pair on the recieving end yelped and dodged the first several shuriken. "You're sadistic man! What the heck!?" Kuma yelled as he noticed a chakra bent shuriken curve its way to his side. KAWARIMI NO JUTSU! as the shuriken made contact with smoke, a peirced apple fell haplessly to the floor. "Good for a first try. You see, a skill like Kawarimi is much better utilized in a stress situation, becasue you can never fully replicate its usefullness unless you really need to." Chey smiled a little evily as he tossed a shuriken at Nazu "Can you make it in time to save your dog?"

Nazu yelped as Kuma poofed in behind him and grabbed the dog. He threw a kunai to intercept the shuriken but noticed a seconed ninja star concealed under it. A shadow shuriken? KAWARIMI! The NIT thought as the pair narrowly escaped the second star, causing it to haplessly tear through a textbook. "Not one for literature are you?" Chey smiled as he scanned the class room Kids not bad at hiding he thought as he lept from the seat towards the back of the class. A flying kunai entered his range of vision as he dodged to the side. He retaliated with another shuriken where he noticed the kunai being fired from. "I see Iruka is teaching his students well." KAWARIMI! another poof embeded a kunai into a chair as Kuma and Nazu lept from hiding on the other side of the class room. Kuma grabbed Nazu's hid legs and vaulted the dog on the other side of Chey as Kuma slapped his hands together. "That he has... this should be fun. Double Peircing Fang!" The pair spun rapidlly in place and used the momentum to mount an proper counter attack.

Mini torandos tore through the class room, decimating anything that got in their way. It caught the instructor off gaurd as he stepped away and noticed the damage. It was like a giant game of exploding pong was happening all around him when the a fang shot at him from he right. He readied himself as the spinning stopped, revealing Nazu. The pup seemed to smile as he poofed away, repleaced with his master. "Nice huh? A technique of my own. I called it the Fake Out!" Kuma smiled as he threw a punch at his instructor. Chey retaliated with a fist of his own that connected with a chair yet again. KAWARIMI! As Chey hit the ground and stood up, he felt slight pressure on his back and calm breathing. "Pass." The old man said as he lowered his arms. Nazu pounced and bit his shin playfully "OI! That hurt pup! You know I wasn't aiming to kill right?" "Neither we were. Double Peircing Fang, though devestating, isn't as accurate as a single fang. I just wanted to try the technique out from my cousin, Kiba." "Ah... I see...." The trio looked at the damage as they all sweated in embarrisment. "I think we should conduct the rest of the testing in the river bank behind the school.... well let the constodians deal with this....5 min break!" Chey said hurridley as he puffed from sight. Kuma and Nazu yelped as they heard rumblings of curiosity from outside the door. "CRAP! Way to leave us with the bill teach! Quick! Out the window!" Kuma gasped as he lept to the "window"...now a hole from the DPF and the two made their daring escape.

jashu555 [ blaugh Another Gem. ^_^ ] [thanks! i like rping because i feel that it increases my songwriting and writing creativity and skill hehe. for reference ive also kept my profile and technique training on Word. yeah a bit geeky but it helps keep track of things. haha.] Chey lay relaxed under a battle worn tree near the river as he noticed his test pupils huff and puff their way up to him. They promptly buckled to the floor, gasping for air as Chey stood up and stretched his arms to the sky. "I said 5 mins, not 15. Come on kid. Punctuality is key to shinobi" He smiled warmly as Kuma shuddered his head up to look at him. "Sir, with all due respect, you werent chased by custodians and accidently stumbling into an explosives exercise....not to mention you didnt tell me WHICH are to meet you in!" Kuma sighed as he got up and creaked out the kinks in his system. "Whine whine whine, You're here right? Sit down as I show you the next part of your exam. Regain some of that lost chakra." Chey walked out onto the bank and continued walking till the water changed from clear to teal blue. "This may be a bit tougher. It has to do with chakra maniuplation on your hands and feet." demonstrated by flipping and landing on his hands effortlessly on the water. Nazu snorted as Kuma thought the exact same thing. Chey spryly lept from his hands to his feet and walked back onto land as he crouched infront of his student. "It's not to bad. Remember the concentration you had for Henge? Well, you'll need to focus harder, seeing as how water isnt a stable element. TRY IT!" He exclaimed as he grabbed the pair by the hand and paw and chucked them diskus style into the river. A loud SPLOOSH! marked their arrival. Upon resurfacing Kuma yelled out. "ONE AGAIN! With all due respect, WHY DID YOU DO THAT! I COULD HAVE DROWNED!" Chey smiled "Once again whining! The water's 4 feet deep at its deepest, so you'll have no problem rising yourself from the depths." The instructor sat bowlegged on the bank, "Come oh great one, ARISE!" Kuma began focusing charka to his feet as he felt himself rise slowly from the water. He was promptly inturrupted as a carp jumped and smacked him the face. "Is this how all great shinobi start out?" "No. I remember hearing about a teacher throwing his kid off a cliff way back when....ah the good old days."

Kuma's eyed bobbed above the water as he noticed Nazu paddling around. He'd been enjoying it more than his master and Kuma could noticed the dog slowly rising out of the water. Chey seemed a bit puzzled but his face changed to that of issac newton finding gravity. "oh, that must explain how they can use jutsu as well as their masters. They posses some form of chakra....I should probably inform the scientists of this later and see what can come of it...."
Kuma couldnt hear his instructor talk to himself so he worked on his on predicament. Cold wet cothing wasnt his favorite thing to swim in so he focuse again on his feet. He shut his eyes and pushed some mroe chakra down to speed up the process. As he slowly felt his chest hit fresh air, he started wringing his clothing to get rid of most of the water, yet he stumbled a bit and felt a foot sink back in.
"Paying attention is key in water walking. it gets easier the more you do it. but when starting out, if you dont keep attention you could-" SPLOOSH! "fall back in..."

"HEY! I got it!" Kuma said...to no one in particular as he completely rose from the water. Chey gave him a thumbs up. "Ok Inuzuka, now try walking" "Why would I want to try walking? It's hard enough to keep standing as is!?" Kuma slipped a litte back into the water but caught himself. He was becoming more stable. Unfortunatly for him, Nazu had gotten himself completely out of the water. The pup was sitting happily on the river bank next to Chey and shook himself dry. Chey wiped off some water from his sleeve. "Would you rather be a bouy for your enemy? Nothing easier to pick off then a sitting duck." Kuma gave a heavy sigh, Damn, hes right. Definatly not a big fan of this....but then again once im done with this im outta here and can get to the good stuff....

The small swells became a bigger challenge as Kuma took a step forward. A roll caused him to lose balance and sink back into the water and Nazu yipped in enjoyment and Chey laughed heartily. As Kuma rose back to the surface with increased skill Chey shouted out. "It's not that bad kid, don't worry, we all started out like this when we were kids." Kuma looked a bit exasperated "DUDE! I'm not a kid...im almost an adult....." "Oh...my fault....why is it taking you this long to reach Genin?" Kuma felt a bit embarrised. "Family issues. Family comes first, no matter what." "Ah I see, spoken like a shinobi." Chey said as he watched Kuma take uneasy steps on the water. ----- Over an hour had elapsed and Kuma was striding quite nicely over the water. He lept off the surface as part of the training and moved quite nicely in the air. His landings and balance on water had become less shaky anre more refined as Nazu began to dog paddle at his side. As the dog became more tired, Kuma picked him up and placed him in a back pounch large enough to hold him.

"Well. That's certainly interesting..." Chey looked on in amusment as, an hour later, Kuma had now started skating on water. Feeling he had enough of the training, Chey waved back to his student and Kuma slid his way back on to the river bank. He stumbled abit because sliding on grass and gravel isnt that easy to do and gave his instructor the thumbs up. "Pass. How do you skate on the water?" "Well," Kuma began, "It's not really skating. I'm actually pushing off a very small bit of chakra as i step, and use it to propel myself across the water." Chey shrugged and seemed impressed, "So I'm not really gliding. more like skipping across the water, it makes it easier to move across the swells." "Well, I guess I'll have to try that sometime. Pretty nice work there kid." Nazu yipped in agreement.
(Water Walking = COMPLETE)
The sky above them began to turn amber as Kuma wrung out the last of his wet clothing. Nazu lapped some of it off his legs in an attempt to help his master. Chey looked on and asked, "Funny how you dont smell like dog or wet dog..." Kuma looked up, slighty put off. "Well no. I mean with all the time you spend with Nazu and almost all Inuzuka spend with their animals, you dont smell like them." Kuma laughed and petted his pup. "Showers." Kuma simply put, "and good smelling deoderant. As much as I love Nazu, hes gonna grow fast and aftera while...its gonna be tough finding some good deoderant....to make sure i dont smell like him." The pair laughed as the dog nipped his master in retaliation "OI!" "Hehehe... ok Inuzuka. Before light fades we'll go for the goal. Tree Climbing." Chey explained as he put one foot on the nearby tree and began to walk perpendicular to the truck. He found himself a comfortable position and continued talking. "It'll be a bit easier to do than water...but watch out...this old tree isn't as easy as she looks." Chey pulled a shuriken from his pocket, causing the NIT and pup to twitch. He took no notice and flipped it to the tree, THUNKing into the trunk a good ways up. "Ok, now go get it."

[man im running out of ideas to keep the posts going to the requirment of a skill learn haha.]
Kuma looked at the tree and could spot the shuriken about 30 feet up....a pretty tough challenge.... Kuma thought as he put a foot on the trunk. He focused charka to his foot and watched in surprise as the brittle bark shattered under the pressure. Chey looked from behind yet said nothing, prefering his pupil to figure the last puzzle on his own. Wiping the last bit of bark off his underfoot, Kuma tried again. This time gaining a small victory as his right foot stuck to the tree.
