Reddemon Im at school so I dont have my codex but if its cheeper make his combi flamer a combi bolter. re rolls 1s aint too bad Actually doesnt combi boter work by allowing it to be used as a stormbolter once per battle or is it that once per battle it can re-roll a failed roll to hit. I can remember....

2 obliterators, reinforcement deepstriking for if the havocs fail to function
6 Daemonettes to decide edged battles
Lieutenant deepstriking as a last ace in the hole to use mass mutations on a unit that can flip the tide
Everything deepstrikes or infiltrates =D

I just read that the lord counts towards the total number of troops in his retinue so I got like another 35 points freed up to tinker with.

I was just wondering, If I let a unit deepstrike to a teleport homer hold by a model in combat, and position the deepstriking squad within 2"of enemies, will they count as in combat? normally they cant assault, but it seeing as the range means they would be locked in combat and such...

You would have to follor the rules for deep striking

You would have to follor the rules for deep striking I didnt know there was a specific point out towards that situation, dont have my bbb on me, but ill check it out surprised

I just don't think I'm going to use it since the squad my lord is in is going to be an assault squad that can move fast enough to help out along my battle lines where needed.

Id still give him the combi bolter, just for when he dose have to stand still, I mean 3 points with re roll ones to hit

No the deamonic stature says he can't since he is then classified as his own unit.
