L a d y . P o l a r i s Mello-phony She shifted her weight, now leaning on the brick wall. "Orders, they say I'm not under enough control and it drains too much of my energy to do this. They say something small like this is not worth my effort." She kicked a rock. "So I'll sit it out and hope they give me some training..." "Heh, Mystique. She's the one who pulls the strings in this operation. But me being powerful is correct, but I'm a bit out of control and I haven't even reached full pontential. I usually wear myself out if I use them too much." Samara sighed, sitting now on the cold pavement, playing with a half wilted flower.

Kidd was focussing so hard on keeping the temperature of her Ice near absolute zero she didn't even see Zion wheel around and punch her in the face. Kidd saw stars as she flew back off of Zion. she hit the roof hard and rubbed her nose, it was bleeding. "damnb..." she looked up to see Zion, she was starring down a metal orb. no sooner did Kidd get to her feet that the orb snapped opened and snatched up Zion. Kidd smirked and pointed at the orb. "ha! bats wha' you get!" she smiled as it zoomed away. then she heard a familiar cry. she ran to the side of the building and caught a glimpse of Darius getting pulled into a similar orb. "DARIUS!!!!!" Kidd reached for the orb, but it zoomed off after Zions and a few others. she looked around helplessly as her friend was carried off got knows where.
((damn should've tried harder))

Lizz groaned as she shambled to her feet. She blinked several times before her brain processed the scene before her and caught up with her. "Oh wow, what a day...." She said stumbling. "Okay, fun time os over, I'm going home." She said focusing and disapearing into the backround. "I need serious painkillers and a loooong nap." She started to shamble towards the gates.

Aaron went up to the roof top after bandaging himself up, taking asprin and a new t-shirt. He saw Zion and Darius' orbs rush off and he looked over at Kidd. "Wonder what those things are for and why they took a couple of our own." He said after arriving to her side. Cocking his head to the right slightly he smiled. "Need some help up?"

Conner stared dumbly at the metal orb as it disappeared into the stratoshpere.
"Well I'll be damned." he mused, he sat down on the steps and decided to wait for someone to tell him what was going on, they had to come this way sooner or later. He wondered wether that Mori girl was feeling better.
He heard several crashes and watched several more orbs whisk away whatever quarry they held. "The day was looking so nice when I got up this morning too." He stretched his legs and stood up again and began pacing on the step.

From her position on the sofa in the middle of the X-mansion, Victoria could hear most of what was going on. For once, it was not because of her mutant power, but because everyone was so darn loud on it's own. After Carlos had made his exit, the usual sounds of the on going battle continued. The one-liners, the grunt and heaves of the injured, and the destruction of various bones and property were starting to get all to familiar, when suddenly a new and interesting sound was added to the mix.
It was humming.
A loud metallic humming was coming from somewhere and was getting louder by the second. No, she reasoned, sitting up and listening intently for the mysterious hum. No, not louder, closer...
The thought had barely passed through her mind when the humming was replaced by a great metal orb crashed through the front wall. She ducked down as it floated menacingly in her direction, but to her surprise, it passed her over completely and continued through the opposite wall into the hallway. Half confused, half scared for her life she couldn't help but c**k one eyebrow at the gaping hole in the wall.
What the hell is going on out there...

Damion was just debating wether or not he should take a nap when the roller he was laying on. (or at least his host was) was tossed over. He materialised to find that the doctor who had been so politely taking him to the medical facility was now unconceous. "Damnit!" Damion said aloud reshrowding himself in shadow and shooting at his usual somewhat hightened speed up and out. He would try to find an exit but he had not exactly been overly paying attention to the ride he had been hitching. It would be naieve to think that Damion would not get lost. His sence of direction in unknown places was about as flat as it got. He tried at least a hundred different doors. (easily peeking under each one as he moved. Unfortunately however, at the speed at wich he was attempting to rush things he could not find an exit. He paused eventualy in a hallway and tried to rethink why exactly he wanted to get back to the bloodbath anyway. Of course the only real explanation was that he considered the battlefeild more possible to survive than a battle within the X-mansion if any were left inside. He hunched over exhausted as he rematerialised in a hallway. He didnt care for physical stress and running through the ethereal planes was quite taxing rewarding though it may be. "Someone show me the exit out of here!" At that point the large steel ball would pass through the wall creating a large hole. "That'l do. Thanks, I owe you one." He said assuming that the ball of steel must have been controlled by a member of the brotherhood feeling that he was to important to the battle to be left lost in a mansion. He turned to walk off and was imediately captured without a moment's hesitation. Doubtlessly the other captives must have been fighting for their freedom. Damion had had enough fighting for one day.
Mission: Expose Damion to big steel ball thingie complete!
((And my mom said that cheating and taking unfair advantages would get me nowhere in the real world! On the other hand, I have yet to put this whole "real world" idea to the test. But it works in Evo!))

"I hear you on that." Kevin said tryiing to get back in the converstion with Samara and Lorna. Then Kevin saw the giant orbs and start taking students. Then he said "Um what are those taking are freinds. Should we go check them out?Or how about we go inside now that the fihgting has stopped. Maybe we can go see the Profesor?" Kevin waited for a response from either of the two girls.
(Edit-I added some more dialogue at the end.)

Narcissa sighed as she sat down on a plush bunch in the foyer, leaning her hot head against the cool wall. She felt sick... Overheated... That was never a good sign. Adjusting herself as she leaned against the wall, she sighed absently, kicking her now muddied and ruined heels off her feet and onto the floor. Those would have to be thrown away...
Her jaw was throbbing from where one of the Brotherhood had punched her in the face. No doubt her pristine features would be marred with a bruise to end all bruises in the morning... Her eyes closed as she attempted to relax, Narcissa found herself jumping up as a loud crash ran through the mansion. What now?
Rising unsteadily to her feet, she knew that she needed to either soak up some sun, or eat, and at the moment, she found herself ignoring that, heading towards the living room. Spying [ibVictoria on the couch, she gaped at the still splintering hole in the wall. "Are you all right?", Narcissa rushed forward as she bit her lip, kneeling down next to the girl, her hand resting on the edge of the couch. "Do you know what that was...?"[/color]

Samara shook her head. "Those orbs, those are the ones who were chosen specifically for something or another. I know I was overlooked." Looking at the mansion she cringed. "Heh, no way I'm going in there. That professor gives me the creeps."
She began to walk down the street away from the Institute. "I'm going out for some fun, my car's down here. You can join me if you want..."
It was the first time Samara had ever offered a true hand in friendship to anyone in this new town, and she was out on a limb. Rejection like she had always recieved, or would they accept her? All she could do was wait.

Lizz having snuck out of the the gates took a moment to sit down and rest a couple of minutes. "Oh man..." She was still trembling from her electricution. "Next time I hit the b*****d punk over the head and cave his skull in." She mumbled.

Still staring at the whole in the wall, it wasn't until she felt the weight of another persin against the couch that she turned away. It was Narcissa. Kneeling at the side of the sofa she looked just as beat up and confused as Victoria did. Maybe even worse.
"Yeah," said Victoria, nodding slowly as if she herself wasn't believe anything she was saying, "I'm fine."
Placing a hand across her forehead she looked once again at the whole in the wall while pondering Narcissa's second question. She had no clue what that thing was, other then the obvious of course, and she couldn't even fathom what they was doing here.

Kidd whirled around and stared at Aaron. Her mined was still processing fling orbs taking two of her friends. Yes Darius was seeming to be more then a friend and Zion wasn't really acting friendly. But still they were her friends. she searched for words. Simple, to the point. " we need to fallow them." she looked around then back at Aaron. "Dosn't this place have a plain, jet? A rocket even?!" she started shacking. She saw her mess of an appearance in the puddle of water that'd formed from Zion melting her ice. She fix her expression to that of a proper x-men and looked back at Aaron. "We need a jet to fallow them, make sure their ok."

A group pf glinting metal orbs sped away from the X-Mansion and disappeared into orbit. None of the young 'winners' trapped inside knew where they were going, let alone what was to come of them...
One of the few people who did know was still ground level with Bayville and not the least bit happy about it. Mystique, having miscalculated and lost her battle with one of the X-Men's resident mentors, Storm, sauntered uneasily through the hallways. Rage burned inside her at the very thought of the 'chosen ones' streaming toward Asteroid M. She belonged in that winner's circle, and she was going to get there by any means necessary.
Mystique, sauntering into a room through the freshly splintered hole in the wall. No doubt caused by the arrival of the metal spheres themselves. Within the room there was a couch, around which two scared and confused looking X-girls were gathered. She cocked an eyebrow at the pair of them. Any means...
"Those orbs," she started, foregoing introductions completely, "were sent by a dear friend of mine to capture the winners of this morning's little game. I'm sure you are aware that some of your own, including Professor Xavier himself have been taken against their will and are now half-way through the atmosphere."
Judging by the worried looks on the girl's faces, they didn't.
"Now, I'm going to be paying my friend a visit and though it pains me to say this, I'm going to need some help from you X-Men. We must go now to Asteroid M now before the unthinkable happens. So, are you willing to work with me for a common goal, or would you prefer to sit here and let your little friends take all the glory?"

"Whoa whoa whoa. Slow down there sweetheart." He noticed her shaking and looked down at the floor rubbing the back of his head. Aaron noticed a hole in the roof and saw Mystique walk in. The blue woman was saying something but the hole only allowed him to see her. "Damn I can't hear what she's saying." Looking back at Kidd he put a hand on her shoulder. "Lets see what the blue woman has to say...isn't she your firey friends leader?"
