Caleb lost his center of gravity and fell. Landing onto the wooden floor with a slight thump.

Moé gasped.
"Sir!"
She took Caleb's arm and dragged him onto her bed.
Moé took a cloth and some cold water, and, taking off his robe and hat/placing them on a table, she began to unbutton Caleb's dress-shirt and lightly cool his body off.
Of course, she blushed at this, as it could be considered inappropriate, but kept her modesty.

Caleb looked at his chest. Seeing the black thread going down his chest and the discolored skin. He stared at his chest, and his hands crumpled into fists.

Moé noticed this, and then she leaned over and phasekissed him on the forehead.
"I'm sorry..."
She buttoned up his shirt, and, wetting her hand, she phased it to cool him down with.
Moé phasekissed his neck.
"I couldn't help myself to look at yoour chest, Sir...", she mumbled.

"I am quite alright." Caleb said, returning back to his feet, putting on his robe. "...But, thank you for your hospitality." He placed his hat back on his head, and left the room.

Moé felt a pang of dissatisfaction, but ignored it.
I wonder what happened to make him faint...?
Moé followed him.
"Sir.... what made you faint?"

Caleb went down into his study. A small sigh exited his body as he sat down. Looking at his clothed torso, he felt a pit develop in his stomach.

Moé continued to write; it was a letter to her father.
She wanted to hide her current, hopefully temporary sadness, and gave her words a joyous tone.

Caleb picked up the tome and began reading again. Trying to forget about the last events that had occurred.

Moé placed the letter on her desk, and then opened a portal, leaving to check on Kokopelli and Ann.
Sneaking inside rather artfully, a male red fox quietly walked through a window, sniffing around for food, money, or Moé.

Caleb continued reading. His mind slowing and calming itself down. He did not notice anything that happened around him, and concentrated on reading.
