I merely wish you to understand everything is always complicated. Nothing is simple. You CANNOT jst walk away. If you do... you will never know. And if you dont... you will never move on. And NO ONE is better than anyone else, not until you do something to WARRANT it.

Every action has a subsequent and equal reaction. Your pack will be protected from the Garou, but they will die out without a new alpha. Your pups will be killed when they are born, but you get to go home to Bella. You have walked a mile in another shoes, and know it is never easy. I tried to teach Roan but she is blinded by her hate for the Garou and thus.. all wolves. SHE knows what it is to be mere kin. She never mastered changing form. Not this way... the natural way. I have faith you will do better.

From what Iden had heard...and from what little he'd gotten to peek in that book of hers, the one from the Darkus incident, he'd caught enough insight to understand at least some of her grudge.
He craned his neck, peering upwards for a moment, then returned to his position of rest.

You arent getting your thumbs back till you learn to do it for yourself. You know what it is to be a wolf now, this form will always come to you easily so long as you remember what your pack taught you. But I wonder if you remember what it is to be human, and to be Cainite? Who do you care about Iden? Who makes it worth having thumbs again?

Iden's muzzle dipped as the weight placed itself upon his skull. His body twitched, as he restrained the canine instinct to melt upon itself in bliss at a good scratching.

He snapped, more than a little put off by the assertions made. Raoul was touching upon a boundary that Iden didn't care to linger near, and worse still, he was pretty sure the shrewd old b*****d knew it.

Im pleased to hear it. Becoming any animal leaves the chance you will forget what it is to be anything ELSE. MANY of our kind have flown on the wings of an eagle, and forgtten how to stay on the ground. When you ran with the pack, you WERE the pack. Your anger at me for MAKING you do it kept you who you truly are. Had I taught you the how then let you change at will, the chances of your forgetting would have been much higher. Primal instincts will out - form DOES dictate mentality in some ways. In wolf form, you will eat and digest meat. The average cainite physiology cannot. In rabbit form, you will eat vegetation. As you no doubt noted.. your form even dictated your activities. YOU would not have mated with the alpha. A WOLF would.
There are many shapes in which its easy to think 'its be easier and calmer to stay this way'. And down that route lays oblivion.

You have some sense. If you remember what it is to be your true self... then change back. It all comes down to will - something that runs WELL in your bloodline. Do not procrastinate. Tel your body what it shoudl look like.

He chuckled softly, or at least, he mentally did. His physical body was twitching like mad now, tail wagging, etc, as he was trying to not start howling in instinctual pleasure. Pleasure which very shortly stopped when Raoul elaborated on how to change back. He turned, throwing the closest thing his muzzle could offer to an incredulous frown.

It is and it isnt. For example, getting from Japan to China is that easy. You just go across. But how can you, if you have no boat? So first, you must understand wood, floatation, hydrodynamics... the journey becomes therefore the key. Once it has been done once, its easy to do again.

You've done the journey. Now go backwards and return to where you started. You know how to do it, but only because you COULDNT do it ten minutes ago. Try.

Yeah, yeah, just pass the pants. You can keep the jacket. It ain't my duster, so it'd feel wierd.
It wasn't that Iden was ashamed of standing there naked. He just wasn't sure the rest of the world would be fond of viewing his assets, if and when he did return to civilization. As he was zipping up, he lifted his gaze.
So. Now what?

Now, we find you somewhere to hole up and practice your skills until Im satisfied you've learnt enough. Somewhere you can practice shapeshifting and other talents.

Oh joy.
He sighed, and rolled his shoulders. He was about to ask if he had a place in mind, when Raoul spoke and lept off the cliff.
Oh ******** me.
He jumped. It wasn't until he was airborne that he realized just how high up he was, though. He bit back the impulse to shout in dismay, and instead, tilted his body to push him back to the cliff face. His feet dug into the sides of the cliff, grinding upon them as he descended. They were bloody, torn, and raw when he his the ground rather abruptly, but it beat being a splatter.
Get'cher a** back here you animilistic c**t...
He snarled through clenched teeth as he took off into a dead sprint. It was similar to when he had first ran from the Garou, however, this time he was faster, just because he had that additional perception of the topography ahead of him. He wasn't quite keeping pace, but he was going fast enough to not lose Raoul for a good while yet.

*Laughing, Raoul darted between the trees, never slowing, never missing a stride, totally intune with the forest. By dawn, if Iden kept up, they would be down into the valleys and near a PROPER town, the sounds of humanity drifting on the breeze.
Skidding to a halt in the tree line, Raoul looked back fro Iden, the Prince looking as though he'd merely been for a stroll.*

Oh for ******** sake...PISS OFF!
He wasn't going full tilt for a few good reasons, the first of which was rapidly diminishing. The torn feet he was running on were healing the damage from the rock face he'd slid down, enabling him to press down harder on them, and move faster for it. He'd keep up alright, if it killed him to do so.
When Raoul came to a stop, so did Iden. He was hardly fatigued, from the looks of it, and more than a little curious about the town.
So..this the place, or do we have another merry little romp to go?

Romanians are superstitious, even into the modern day. Some places are totally removed from the modern world we know. I have friends on the outskirts of this town. I have told them I was bringing you. You are a forest spirit to them - a dryad.
*Raoul began to move around the town in the treeline as he spoke, towards a small house on the outskirts*
They will not expect you to speak or to understand their language, though if you do, it wont be taken out of role. They will provide you with a room, clothing and in short, a place to be until you complete your training.
The forest stretches from their back garden for mile sout into the mountains and you will find all manner of beasts living in the wild.
Your first task will be simply to be among them. Learn the patterns of the eagle, the jackal and the bear. You will find streams swollen with fish, clearings full of hares and trees littered with nests. Watch, observe, understand. You will find it easy when in your trance state to get close to the creatures I wish you to study and possibly you;ll even work out how to change your form by yourself.
In two weeks, I will again come to find you, and I will teach you of the mole, and of the earth herself. Once you understand how to run ON it as a menagerie of creatures, you will understand how to live IN it much easier. And it can and will save your life. In short, I shall teach you to earth meld, as you have seen your own sire do many times.
