~ Distant giggles followed by a Slugma remarking, >That's... bigger than I meant to...< would be the only warnings Kiani received before the walls of the tunnel began to shake. If she looked behind her, she'd see a large boulder rolling towards her... apparently, someone still didn't know how to control their Rollout. It might be in her best interest if she started running.

Kiani wasn't paying attention to what was going on, but Lily was. The litleo growled and pawed at Kiani until the girl turned around. Her eyes went wide and she saw a large boulder rolling towards her. Kiani didn't think, simply scooped Lily into her arms and began to run.
As Rhys and his Froakie first stepped onto the land, the heat would rise to unbearable amounts. It would make it seem like there were a couple of fires lit all over with how dry the air was and the sun was punishing them trying to draw every last drop of liquid from their bodies. Not an ideal place for a water pokemon. There was a loud rumbling as a big pokemon stepped in front of them, blocking the path and making it so they couldn't move forward. It was a Heatmor and he glared at the two for a few seconds. ">I uh.. have to fight you now... It's best you leave or else... Uhh please don't bleed on me in this battle... I hate blood but my brother isn't here at the moment... and I need to fight... and keep people like you out.. and kill things...and enjoy it...<" he muttered unconfidently. Well this was the Scourge of the land! Or at least his brother! And this would be who they would be battling!
This time, the boy would come across a group of five Ledyba that didn't look happy he was there. In unison, they all rose into the air and sent a Tailwind that formed into a giant gust to sweep the boy backwards and far away from them~

The aura in the Riolu's paws may have formed but it would seem that the Icicles were stronger! This time, three formed to shoot out at the fighting pokemon. It struck him on the sides, trying to cause more damage. Since the pokemon hadn't managed to dodge it, the Icicle's kept forming and shooting towards Tekken!
"Hang in there!" Peyton growled as he waited. There had to be some kind of opening. Their luck was going to go back to them eventually. It wouldn't be as easy as their first battle at the Academy, but they would get something soon enough! Tekken tried to whack away whatever icicles that the Blue Avenger sent. Would this be the end of the hero?! Find out next time on Riolu Ball Z!

The Numel looked at the Mudkip and then at the second Barrier it had formed. The fire type let out a desperate cry as she charged to try and Stomp down the Barriers!
[8+1]-2+ [9-7] = 9/5 = 1.8 Rounded to 2 DMG TEKKEN 9/14 [4/5 turns for Icicle Spear] (So because the move is a bit unique, it is your attack turn now so go ahead and attack even though the Icicles are still heading toward Tekken.
The icicles hit the Riolu again! Even though it was his defensive turn, the Corsola couldn't do anything but watch as the air temperature dropped and Icicles formed once more. Sometimes good intentions had a mind of it's own against villains. The cycle would need to be either broken by Tekken or die down on it's own!
"Just- Bullet Punch or something? The teacher is probably going to kill us at this rate." Peyton said, resisting the urge to do a repeat of what he did with the Surskit. If he didn't get his own experience for then he didn't know what would! Though the idea of trainers actually fighting in place of their Pokemon seemed pretty Farfetch'd.
Tekken nodded, conjuring what energy he could before leaping at the Corsola with a speed nearly unmatched! He needed to do something right and it might as well be this!

Rhys was used to some pretty brutal summer heat, but it was nothing like this crock of Miltank-doo. They weren't even that far from the shore, what kind of weird place was this? He already hated this place. And he could only imagine it got worse further in. Though, he had the glory of a water type pokémon. He had infinite water!! It would tire Otis out eventually though, so he would have to be sparse with his requests. He was usually covered in what were at one point frubbles anyway.
There journey was, however, determined to kill them. Maybe.
Rhys stopped walking as the Heatmor stepped out in front of them. It was slightly taller than Rhys, something he wasn't exactly unused with a lot of pokémon. It was speaking, and Otis didn't seem to tense up at the words, beyond the first glance of a clearly powerful pokémon, anyway. Otis patted him on the shoulder, indicating Rhys should take a little step back. The frog plopped down on the ground between the trainer and the fire pokémon, straining a little to look up at it.
">We don't have to fight if you don't want to.<" the frog started, having noticed the hesitation in the Heatmor's tone. ">We can't turn around, but we're only here to take a picture of something... I'm not really sure what though... Rhys is so good with these things,<" the frog continued, wary of the Heatmor even as he indicated his trainer.
Rhys looked almost surprised as he was pointed at with a tiny hand. This was interesting interaction at the moment. He could have killed to know what the pokémon were saying. He started to wave his face with a hand with a light smile on his face. He wondered if the Golduck was still near enough to hear him and if it was even allowed to help. If it came to violence, Rhys would probably give it a go anyway.
">So, we don't want any trouble. I would say, it's probably open invitation if you wanted to have some adventure though.<" Otis was indicating how ready he was to react in case the Heatmor tried something, but he certainly wasn't lying when he said he didn't want to fight it. He did otherwise sound cheerful though.
(No worries with the camera. Just means Rhys won't be takin' pictures of everything.
Also, this Heatmor is gonna wreck me and my terrible luck unless I somehow get a roleplay/diplomatic win.
Oh! Can I get the Camouflage type for the current area? I suspect fire, but it may come in handy if it's rock or ground.)

Alexander mentally swore that the next time someone utilizing some form or other of reading fortunes told him that bad luck followed him, he would take those words at more than face value. Especially if that someone was the person that was supposed to be his instructor! It seemed that the boy had stumbled across a nest of ledyba, and they were quite incensed at his presence. Enough so that they opted to try and blow him away. Cringing at how poor his luck was, Alexander tried to hurry away from the group of bugs before the wind got too strong.

Meren positioned the barriers to prevent the blow from landing. She felt too shaky to dodge the attack and imagined that it would better to be more grounded against the attack. She concentrated on maintaining the two barriers she had up.

The gust of wind was both a blessing and a curse. Despite Alexander's best efforts, it swooped him into the air and tossed and turned him in the cyclone. The boy would stay in the air for more then a few seconds before the gust of wind would disappear and he would land with a sharp thump on the ground.

However he would see that he was now closer to shore then he had been before. He was free to continue onward!
