Percy shut his sketchbook as he heard bells ringing on campus. That was a most interesting first period, to be sure. He stood, stretched, then proceeded to place his belongings back into his knapsack. He walked over to Professor Xing and handed her his sketch of the grassy lawn and the school buildings. "Um... here." He said, his gaze carefully away and to the right of Colleen's. "Erm... see you tomorrow then!" He turned and headed for the school. It was a free period now, so he should have just enough time to figure out where his next class was located... (exits)

'I'll see next time..'

She brought the sketchpads on her arms and heads her way towards the teachers' lounge. ❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖ "...I will take you completely.. Without exemptions..." *exit to the hallways*

Christine.Tremaine
"A three year long labor is a terrifying thought," Christine said. "I thought Faeries were bad with theirs lasting around a week, generally." She watched him for a moment before catching his arm and moving closer. "Wait."
She set a hand carefully against his back, where the wounds there were still oozing blood. "I'm not really a healer or anything, so don't expect much. But I can stop the bleeding and save you a bit of trouble." She smiled slightly. "But at the very least, blood is something of a specialty of mine."
She closed her eyes for a moment, focusing on his blood--it had a strange feeling to it though she assumed that was because he wasn't Human. Still, just like all blood, it behaved quite obediently under the force of her magic. And gradually, the bleeding subsided and the wounds scabbed over. "Well, that's that. Unfortunately, there isn't anything I can do about your shirt."

"When I think about it, rules are like people." ███████████████████ ███ ██ █ It is a terrifying thought. When he learned about the three year long labor in health class, he was glad to be born a male. He was about to leave to go to his dorm, but Christine stopped him and he could feel the dripping of his blood suddenly stop. He blinked. What a convenient power. It surprised him at first, but he reminded himself that these were different species he was dealing with and not everyone was human. "Thank you, Christine. At least it saves me the trouble of having to wait for it to scab." Sylthfreiyn said. But usually, he didn't have to wait for it to even get to that part. It should have been fully healed by now.
Obviously demons were not meant to live in this world. What was the use of their wings if they can't take it out of their backs without bleeding to death before their backs developed the seal so they could keep the wings out.
"Ah, I should probably tell you who is also in on the secret alliance. That way, if I'm not available, you can go to them. Suzanne--the librarian, Severin--the English teacher, Abel--the History teacher, Ian--the Economics teacher, Aerin--a student, and Cyril--a student." Sylthfreiyn said, listing off the people that Suzanne had informed him of. Of course, Sylthfreiyn might have forgotten someone. Oh there was one person. "Now, there is you. I'll be sure to spread the news." █ ██ ███ ███████████████████ "They are better off strangled and stomped to a bloody mess."

Christine.Tremaine
Oh? That history teacher that seemed to be close with her sister? Really? Well now, that was very interesting. Very, very interesting.
"I'll remember all those names," Christine said. "And I do appreciate you spreading the word about me. For the time being, I should probably check if all the classes have teachers and let you go and change. Your clothes are a mess." She leaned closer and barely brushed her lips against his cheek. "Thank you. I had fun." She gave him a smug grin as she started off.
Well now she had something fun to work with. This...was going to be really, really fun.
She turned once and waved at Sylth before disappearing into the school.

Young Master Oz Vessalius Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... Angela bit lip, grinning slightly as Tarik ran for the door just to hold it open for her. Idiot. She paused on the way out. "Actually when one person in the world sees 'entities' no one else can see? We all just usually assume they're crazy."
Angela led Tarik outside, pausing on the front steps of the school to take a deep breath. She looked up at the sky, expression still troubled as she tried to clear her head from everything her sister had said. "Most poets write about things more significant than imaginary creatures," she told him. But she didn't think there was any point to trying to explain it to him.
She started down the steps, frowning a bit before she looked back at him. "Tarik, can I ask you a serious question and get an honest answer from you?"

Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________Ah... she was so right this time. Tarik was having a hard time arguing with this woman. She was quick with her tongue. Women should not be like this. Tarik crossed his arms and turned away, not accepting her words, but not really having anything to say back to her because she got him.
Then suddenly her tone of voice sounded serious. He glanced back at her. "A serious question? What is it?" Tarik asked Angela. Not that she could really ask a serious question. To a woman, a serious question was usually about apparel or groceries and things like that.
But this was Angela and he was starting to learn--Finally!--that she wasn't like the women that he was so used to being around. It disturbed him a lot since it was very appalling, but... there was something else in the back of his mind that was more appalling. _________________________________________ "My greatness is revealed only when I'm naked." - Prince Ludwig

"well, I mean, normally I wouldn't ask you think but I just thought you may have dealt with this kind of thing before," Angela said quickly. Because from what she remembered about Ancient Egypt, the politics were pretty cut throat. Lies, betray, assassinations, all that fun stuff.
"What do you do when you find out someone close to you has betrayed you? That...they were keeping something really important from you? That...they were helping people who were your enemies?" She sighed. She didn't even know why she was asking him this. Maybe because she felt he wouldn't be as biased as someone like Kasie or Renivere, since he wouldn't know who she was talking about. or because she was just trying to convince herself of what she needed to do, so she could do it.

Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________...That was a very deep question. Tarik shifted uncomfortably. He never spoke about this topic often and he definitely didn't speak about it with a woman. Tarik couldn't even give her a half-assed response too.
"Well if it was a betrayal to the pharaoh, we would have him sentenced to death and there is no other answer. I serve only the pharaoh." Tarik told her. "But if it was a betrayal to me, usually it would result in a duel to the death. I would never trust one who betrayed me ever again. The grudge will be deep in my veins because the nerve to betray once often has the nerve to betray over and over again. To betray twice is... I wouldn't dare trust again." Tarik answered seriously. "I have killed many men on such a subject."
But to think that someone also had the nerve to hurt Angela! What is this betrayal? Who is this person!? Sure... Angela was not quite what he expected and he wanted to just have her shut up and listen to him and stop being such a smart mouth half the time. But she was his chosen! His loyalty to her was second to the pharaoh!
"There is little I can do for you when you are hurt, but there is much I can do to prevent hurting." Tarik said. "I will come to you if you ask me to come to you and my strength is the only asset I have. I can protect you."
What was he doing? Why was he suggesting this to her as if asking permission? This was stupid. Tarik wasn't sure what he was saying. Tarik frowned. Of course it was his job to protect her. She didn't have to ask for him to come. They were engaged after all. Tarik turned away from her. "Never mind. Those words were useless. Forget it."
((...You can have Angela bap him. D8 Tarik just isn't the type to forgive a betrayal. I'm not trying to sabotage her relationship with Abel. )) _________________________________________ "My greatness is revealed only when I'm naked." - Prince Ludwig

Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... "I don't think I could dual him to the death," Angela said, trying to joke. "I'm so bad at using my magic, I would probably end up doing more harm to myself than to him." Her smile vanished and she stared at the ground, trying to put her thoughts in order. "It's just that I want to believe the best of him but I suppose I'm starting to question if I can continue to do that. I...suppose I've been questioning this for a while now." She watched Tarik struggle to answer her, finally just setting her hand on his arm and shaking her head. "It's alright. I shouldn't have asked such a difficult question. In any case, this is my problem to solve. I couldn't ask you to get involved in it." In any case, she had known he was going to say that. And...she knew she felt the same way. After all, how many times had she trusted Christine, only to have her sister turn on her?
And she wasn't strong enough to endure that with Abel. He had already betrayed her trust once when he broke up with her. And now keeping this thing from her--not just that, but being a part of this group in the first place. Willing being a part of something that could hurt people she cared about, her, even his own sister. What sort of person could do that so easily? Smile to her face and say sweet things, while plotting things in the shadows.
"Thank you Tarik," she said. "I think that helped me clear my head a little." Though she didn't feel happy about it in the slightest. She sighed. No, she actually felt much worse. If she was so easily lied to and betrayed then either she had terrible taste in men or she just wasn't worth a lot. Either way, it wasn't something to be happy about. "Anyway, you wanted me to read to you again, right?"
(( No, seriously. It's fine. I knew what Tarik would say and really, so did Angela. She already knows what she is going to do, I think because she also doesn't really forgive betrayal. She just...needs to find the strength to do it. LoL))Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress...

Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________So it was a male she was talking about? Could it have been that man who Tarik thought was her body guard? He wasn't entirely sure since he was one of the few men that Tarik met that knew Angela so he was being kind of biased.
Now this was awkward. Tarik was usually used to tuning out these kinds of things and he never really noticed these kinds of sensitive issues unless it was the pharaoh's sensitive issue. He frowned. How to cheer up a woman? He tried to think back to his time when women loved him.
Well it was obvious. He had to give her attention! Er.... wasn't he doing that now? Then what else? M-money? Not really... She was probably a wealthy man's daughter. She was a princess after all.
"Huh? What? Reading? Yes." Tarik said. "This cat is a very impressive cat. It can stand." Tarik paused. It sounded better when he was in his head. Out loud, it was kind of ridiculous.

Angela laughed slighty. He'd managed to sound so cool a few seconds ago, and now he was back to being an idiot. "Come on," she said, taking his arm and leading him to her tree again. She sat the roots, dropping her things next to her and holding out her hand for the book. "Sit here. I'll read this one to you."
Come to think of it, Egyptians had a thing for cats didn't they? She gave Tarik a sidelong look. "Actually, I just realized that my knowledge of Egypt is somewhat lacking but cats hold a special place in your culture, right? And there was the goddess Bast, who was represented by cats and all. Do you like them?"
"I found some stray kittens here when school first started, and rescued them with the help of a teacher. We've been raising them since then. I've always been a bit of a cat person."Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress...

Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________Tarik let her lead him to the tree and settled down beside Angela. He was a bit excited to hear the kind of great rhyming that Dr. Seuss had for this book.
Suddenly Angela started to talk about cats. Tarik blinked. "Cats?" he repeated. He grinned. "The young Pharaoh had many cats. They were all warriors and very playful. The Pharaoh loved to wrestle with them as a pastime when no one but me was around. He was a very playful boy." Tarik explained. "I have a fondness for them. They are a true man's companion for sure. They are very fierce creatures."
Speaking of cats, he wondered how the pharaoh was doing. He wondered why he was still here. Perhaps he just needed to learn how to read so he could prove Angela wrong and show her that the pharaoh was alive. He will admit, she is intelligent fr a woman, but she was still a woman. She sometimes doesn't know what she's talking about.
"You are a cat person? I see! Then you will be pleased! There are many cats in my home. Er... but a few are very fierce and enjoy jumping. I want to see these kittens then. You and this teacher did well to rescue them. I commend you!"_________________________________________ "My greatness is revealed only when I'm naked." - Prince Ludwig

Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... Angela listened to Tarik, feeling like there was knife twisting in her gut. She wanted to just shake him and make him understand that none of those things existed anymore. And she also wanted to just...hug the poor idiot because she had a feeling it was going to hurt him deeply to realize how much time had passed. He spoke with such fondness of his life.
"Your Pharaoh sounds like he w--is an amazing person," she said. "I mean,, for you to be so devoted to him, he must be." She was silent for a long moment, debating whether to open that can of worms again, before deciding he wasn't going to believe her until he read it for himself. "You'll like the kittens. They're little troublemakers, all of them. Especially the black one, Nicodemus. I love cats. We used to always have them at home, back with my mother was still alive."
"Right...um...I was reading, wasn't I?" She opened the book, biting back another laugh that she was reading Dr. Seuss to him again. She moved closer, leaning over so he could see the text as she followed along with her finger. "The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So we sat in the house All that cold, cold, wet day. I sat there with Sally, we sat there we two. And I said, “How I wish we had something to do!”"Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress...
