Kaika looked over at Yamatano who she found sleeping when she sat down nearby.
"Little lazy are you..?" She asked softly.

"Whats wrong with laziness?" asked Yamatano. "By the way, I dont think we've met. My name is Yamatano Orochi." he said as he extended a hand

She smiled slightly and shook the hand then hid it back in her robes.
"i assume your out here to train on snoring?" She said softly, not harshly or anything. "My name is Kaika.."

"Oh was I snoring again? I'm sorry to have disturbed you." apologized Yamatano. "Darn it, I really need to work on the snoring, its gotten me into trouble too many times." he thought, remembering back to when he thought he was going to be killed by an ANBU captain because of it. "Well Kaika, its nice to meet you. What brings you to the training grounds?"

"Im sort of new in the village and decided that i should watch the nins at work.." She said softly, a small yawn herself which she was surprised she did.

"Really? Well I'm new to this village too. I havent even been able to speak to the kage yet. My clone is still waiting for him outside his office." he said.

She smiled a little, knowing all too well about the kage situation.
"I wasnt getting him either when i needed to. If i can help with what you need than please tell me what you needed him for?" She said politely.

"Well, I dont really know. I'm just supposed to go to his office for some reason. Maybe it's to assign me to a squad." he said.

"Perhaps." She said softly, looking away and thinking about those things herself. I had been a long long time but at one point she too was in a squad for a village when she was a child and they went on missions. She grew talented too fast though and was soon doing missions alone as her skills in this ninja world increased still.
"If he is going to be gone for so long than i might have to go to our ally and request their kage to find a replacement. A village shouldnt be without a kage, leaves us very defenseless."

"Actually, I think he has a repalcement from our village. Some guy named Blade," he said, remembering back to what Coren had said.

"Yes i did meet him.." She said softly now, recalling the meeting in the office some hours ago. "Im not sure though if he really took the job as Kage or just acts like the protector.."
"You dont look that young. How come your still a genin?" she asked, having taken a looked at the nins of the village back when she was in the office.

"Heh, its even worse than you think. I'm a genin fresh outta the academy." Yamatano stated. "I came to this village when I was 15, so I had to go through the academy to become a genin. I had been trained before, but not formally."

"Someone should be training you. What kind of things do you wish to learn?" She asked, tempted to teach someone the skills she knew. She never had a lover or got married so she never had kids and until recently it hadnt come across her mind that someday, even with her vast amount of immortality like jutsus, that she could die and all that she learned would have been lost. She didnt want that.

"Well, my elements are Fuuton and Suiton, so I guess it wouldnt hurt to learn some more of that. Also, if I'm gonna be part of the grass village, I should learn some grass jutsu. But the main thing I want to work on, well, I dont know if anyone in this village can help me with." he said.

"I dont know any myself. I am new to the village but very powerful. Perhaps someday i will learn grass jutsus. We could learn them together." She said with a reassuring smile. She did feel odd being a sannin of a village and not knowing their special jutsus but she was a quick learner and had powerful enough jutsus without the need of the grass ones.
"I dont have any of those elements either." She admitted. "But i do have non elemental jutsus that i could possibly teach.."
