JR walked over to Takiko and soon brought his face close to hers. He began to give her CPR. He was was quick to doing it.
"Wake up, girl. It's not you're time."
He looked back at the Lycan, which he was unsure of whether or not it was dead or unconscious.
"Jack... you know he wants you," he said with an odd grin.
He continued the CPR. His motives for doing so were known only to JR. He had his reasons.

When air filed her lungs a few times, a few raspy breaths made it past her lips on her own. Takiko coughed a few times, the feeling of breathing seemed like a new concept now. Takiko's eyes slowly opened as she gained consiouness. "Jack?" then she saw the crimson eyes, which surprised her. "JR? Why did you..." Takiko was surprised JR would ever help her. But her question was cut short when she noticed the lycan returning to its feat. Obviously it was only mometarily unconsious.

"I have my reasons."
JR got to his feet and stared at the Lycan. The Lycan charged again. It rose it's claws to strike. JR grabbed the arm and gripped it tightly. He bent the arm inwards. The bone popped out. He pulled the arm out from the socket. The Lycan howled in pain. JR pulled out his gun and aimed at the Lycan's heart. He fired. The Lycan fell to the ground. It gagged for several seconds and soon went dead. JR chuckled quietly. His eyes began to fade as he shook his head.
"Work's done Jack."
Soon, Jack was back in place. In an instant, he fell backwards and into a wall. He grunted out loud as he stared up at the ceiling. He groanled loudly as he grabbed his shoulder.
"D-damn... why now?"

Takiko got to her feet as quick as she could now that she knew it was Jack. "Jack!" She yet out a small scream of surprise, now noticing how wounded he was. Humans could not last mortal wounds easily. She ran over to him, tightly wrapping her arms around him once she got to him.

Jack growled out loudly. The pain was excruciating. He could feel his eyes tearing up. The blood was seeping out extremely quickly and Jack was growing pale.
"Like hell I'm going to die here," he said.
He looked over at the Lycan. His eye twitched.
"I need blood..."

Without hesitation, Takiko sank her slender fangs into her arm. Takiko offered her arm to Jack, hoping her blood would help. "It's still part demonic, but as good as any." Takiko did not know how humans healed, she hoped the part of him that was vampiric would help.

Jack's eyes flickered a blood red again. His lip twitched, revealing fangs.
"Any blood works..."
Jack gently bit into Takiko's arm. He heard grunts from her as he slowly began to drink some blood. He closed his eyes as his breathing slowed. The wound slowly began to heal part of the way. He needed it badly. This curse he had... it practically made him a damphir. Soon, he stopped drinking the blood. He gasped out loud as he leaned against the wall. He slowed his breathing trying to calm himself down. He looked over at Takiko. He smiled weakly.
"I'm not going die yet... no matter what I try, I still don't die. I'm dying here either. I won't let you die either. Whatever you do... don't trust JR."
Jack groaned loudly as he closed his eyes. He needed to rest, but he couldn't.

Takiko let out a soft grunt of a bit of pain. She would not let him die either. Takiko grasped his hand and led him to the bedroom. She sat on the bed with him, knowing that if he rested, he would be in less pain. It was clear she was worried about him. The only wounds she had were bruises along her neck from the lycans grasp.

Jack looked up at Takiko. He placed his hand gently behind her, pulled her closer and kissed her gently. He gave her a weak smile and sighed quietly.
"Please... don't leave. Stay with me... don't let JR take control. I don't want him to do anything..."

Takiko was not going to leave, even if Jack did not ask her. "He's not all that bad, you know... I probably would not even be here if it was not for him." Takiko owed her life to JR. So it was only natrual that she trusted him to a degree. She still wondered why he helped her, though.

"Takiko, he uses people. He may have saved you, but he has a plan. He did the same thing with Astarte and Morbidea. He's got something up his sleeve."
He groaned quietly as he rested his head on the bed again. He tried to slow his breathing again. He looked over at Takiko and nodded.
"But yeah... he saved you... you're right. I'm glad he saved you... I was scared for you."

Finally she remembered her katana, making a mental note to grab it later.
She looked down at Jack with a smile across her lips. "Hey, you know me. I don't go down without a fight. If he did not help me, I'd still be here. Somehow." Even though she was unconsious and not breathing, Takiko belives that she could have made it through. "Honestly... It did not feel like I was unconsious... It was like I was dreaming. I could heard everything that was going on. But I could not breath or open my eyes... I was terrified when I heard you scream."

Jack sighed quietly.
"I love you... I don't want you to die."
Jack closed his eyes. He needed to rest.
"I wouldn't forgive myself if anything happened to you."

On the inside, she knew she had loved him all along. Even if she did not say anything. Takiko was not laying down next to Jack. Except she was on her stomache, resting on her elbows. She knew he needed rest, even though she wanted to talk to him. "You can't put that kind of burden on yourself. Everyone dies. I will, you will, it happens. you can't blame yourself if I ever die."

Jack sighed. He could feel himself fading into a state of unconscious. He tried to stay awake as long as possible. He chuckled quietly as he shook his head.
"I don't want to see the death of one I love for a good while."
