The gentle night's sky and soft light of the full moon above cast a eerie white glow to the village docks below, the sound of night time creatures and soft lapping waves crashing upon the shore filled the air with their nocturnal lullabies. The occasional gust of wind stirred the mist that gathered around this area no matter what time of the day it was, this mist cut visibility down to a hair raising three feet for those that were not naturally from this area. Those that had been raised in this area almost wouldn't even notice this misty veil as their eyes had run the natural course and had adapted, becoming one with the mist as if it wasn't even there.

The farther one walked toward the towering gates, that protected the great village of kirigakure, would mean less of the wondrous feeling of nature that surrounded them. The unnatural glow of torches burned though the mist and the loud and obnoxious noise of humans cut though the lullabies created by mother nature herself. The sounds of the village during its evening hours would fill one with a sense of happiness, all of these people coming together despite the multiple attacks that ruined their homes, crushed their dreams and killed their loved ones was an amazing feat on its own. Even then the villagers had defied all those that had attacked when they rebuilt, redrempt and loved once more. This village was a living breathing life form on its own and no attack could end that.

If one were to look out toward the calm nighttime waters they would find a single craft pushing though the water. It's occupants were covered in cloaked clothing, the rower's being that of a kage while the passenger was donned in something less formal, a long black cloak that ended in tattered edges. The craft crawled across the water until it landed upon one of the many docks, the passengers disembarking while the rower tied the boat against the dock. The smaller of the two that wore the dark black cloak was obviously female as her body language suggested. The kage, or should one call him the dormant kage was of the male side of his race. The two of them wordlessly gazing at each other before they nodded.

One guard watching from the gates couldn't help but to cry out in shock as the two neared his post, the man within the kage's robes was his long lost leader Reiniku Akamatsu. He couldn't stop himself as he flew upwards, suddenly embracing the man in the kage's robes in a tight embrace that left the former leader gasping for air. "C-can't breath..." The former kage finally choked out, the guard releasing him before standing at attention. "Sir, where did you go?!" The guard exclaimed, his emotions showing as he spoke. The former kage waved off the question, making it obvious that he didn't wish to speak of his past few weeks away. "Tell me, how is the village?" The former kage asked, his eyes curious as to what had happened during the past few weeks during his absence. "Well sir, we....have an new kage." The guard muttered, looking away as he spoke. "Oh don't look so embarrassed, I expected that." The former Kage exclaimed after laughing to himself. He was about to say something else when the girl beside him tugged on his sleeve, signifying that they had to move on. "Right, well I have things to do. So goodbye." The boy stated to the guard before both he and his companion walked away into the mist, they had catching up to do. The girl smirked slightly as they walked away, "You are a good actor...." The boy simply smiled at her comment and continued walking, he was glad to be home.
