"I'm from the next kingdom over," Throngar told her. "These other two, not as far as I know." He glanced at them and shrugged. He just about remembered Jinx saying something about being born on Narga... actually, he realised, to be fair he didn't know where Hitomi was from exactly. Given that she knew Bryce, she could well be from around here. Oh well, she could always correct him if he was wrong... when she'd cleared that smoke out of her lungs, at least. He turned his attention back to Luna. "What about you?" he returned the question. "You don't exactly look like a native either."

"I see." Luna smiled and looked at the other two but then turned her eyes back at Throngar "I am from Silmar" she answered.

Throngar nodded. "Thought so somehow," he grunted. "You look a lot like a Sea elf I used to know." He gave a bit of a snort at the memory. Hopefully you won't be half as much of the annoying b*****d he was, though. "So, Miss Aerathe. What brings you here to Brim?"

Gorum got back on his feet and ran forward again, taking a nigh unstoppable slash at Xue's torso.

"I do? Well, I am a sea elf and do not worry, I tend not to be annoying" she smiled. She had seen Throngars expression when he had said Luna looked like someone he used to know. She then turned her head to look at the river "I came to see this lonely river. How about you, sir Throngar?" She turned her head back to face Throngar.

Throngar started at the almost exact echoing of his thoughts, but then figured he must just be easy to read and gave a wry chuckle. "We'll see," he assured Luna, then answered her question, "Us? We're here with a larger group back at the Arena." He jerked his thumb behind them towards the mountains past which the stadium lay. "We're on a little expedition, if you like." He didn't mention the Blecks yet; he didn't want to sound like he was trying to recruit anyone. After all, they could handle the problem fine as they were without getting others in danger; heck, he and Gorum could do that, nevermind that Champion and his crew!

"Oh, no worries; this one's probably glad for a quick break," Throngar chuckled, giving Jinx a slap on the back. "I'm trying to help build her stamina up, so we took a run over from the arena. We want to be back by nightfall. Still, we were planning to spend a little while over here anyway." Speaking of which, he glanced over at the town. "Well, shall we have a wander round some of the stores rather than standing around out here like a bunch of imps' arses? I could do with a drink from the pub myself..."

"'Course," Throngar answered, smiling broadly at Luna, then wagged a finger at her. "Just so long as you pay for yourself! I'm not here to give out free lunches!" Chuckling, he began walking down into town.

Xue would push off the ground and leap cleanly over gorum, springing and turning as he hit the ground, his aim was to pounce onto Gorums back, pushing him to the ground xue would procede by grabbing gorum's head, pulling in back and slamming it back into the floor if all went his way.

Luna smiled. She was glad to have company and followed Throngar silently. She looked around her and bought herself something small to eat.

Throngar grabbed a meat pie from the same store, taking a bite into it as he flipped a coin over to the vendor as payment and walked on. "Mmm," he grunted through his mouthful, then swallowed and said, "Let's go for a drink at the inn. You up for it, Luna?" Ok, so he had two other people with him too, but one had stolen his hat and the other had decided to sneak up on him. They'd then both annoyed him by bickering like little kids - he got enough of that from Gorum. So, understandably, he wasn't exactly in the most caring of moods when it came to their opinions.

"An elf who doesn't like her wine; good lord, what's the world coming to?" Throngar laughed good-naturedly. "Well, whatever. I can't say I understand your thinking, but whatever floats your boat." He pushed open the door into the local pub, The Happy Pasturer. A wave of noise and good humour - not to mention the smell of alcohol, though thankfully not too much of sweat - at once crashed over them.
