She's so gental.. She smiles and scratches her head "Thanks Kai" She hugs her from behind lightly as to not disturb her too much from her work.

I want to stay like this.. Ryu didn't know where her dreams were taking her right now. The girl had been her confort at night, Kai became her confort during the day. So she wanted to be closer to Kai. She didnt know if she wanted to keep the dream going any longer.

Kai blinks, stoping cutting the vegies. "Ryu-san? Are you alright?" She looked backwards and up at the taller girl. "You have a... negtive vibe. Is everything ok with her?"

"Mm" she grunts and turns her back on Kai. She sighs and takes a few steps away. "Remember the pic? Well.." she turns back around "I grew wings where she had cut me. I looked up.. and she was burning again right before me..." Her eyes began to water. "..I watched her skin melt off. The smell is what caused me to vomit." She looked down at the floor as tears ran down her face. Ryu began to get dizy but she stayed on her feet.

She took her arms off... She turns around, hugging her. "Ryu-san..." She sighs, turning her around to face her. "I'm sorry... But... You have to be strong...As strong as you can be...I don't know whats happening, or what is happening to her... But if you can't be strong enought, at least lean on me." She holds her, cuddling up to her. "Let me taken on some of your pain."

Ryu's eyes became distant at a thought What the hell is happening?? She snapped back to Kai. She didn't know what was going on but Kai was right, and she knew it. She looked into her eyes and hugged her tight to her own body. "Ok.." She whispered into Kai's ear. "As long as I can do the same for you.."

"Alright.." Ryu whispers again. She kissed Kai on the cheek and parted from her arms. I dont want to part from her arms. Then why are you? a voice deep inside her asked. I-I dont know.. Ryu went to sit down at the nearby table. She layed her head down on the table and watched Kai.

She has no feelings for me more than a friend. I wish she would stop kissing my cheek. She heads back and finishes up cutting the vegies and putting the broth, the vegies, and the noodles all together for them to finish cooking.

She lay there watching Kai. Ryu paid attention to the expressions on Kai's face. Suddenly she was asleep.
It was the same place. She was on the top of the hill again. The girl was down below. Ryu noticed the wings on her back. She could feel the veins pulsing. She walked slowly. She was tired of this. The girl stood with tears streaming down her face. She said a silent appology to Ryu. Ryu asked her why. The girl replied with a sad glare. The girl turned and slowly walked into the clear pond water untill her head vanished under it's depths. Ryu stood there.. empty. She was free of pain, happiness.. for that instance.
Suddenly she woke up. Kai was just dipping the first bowl of soup. Ryu rubbed her eyes. She felt like crap again.

Kai blinked, looking over at Ryu, smiling. "Oh your finally awake again." She said softly as if not to hurt Ryu's head or anything. "Think you can stomach some home made soup?"

She looked up at Kai and nodded. Ryu sat up as straight as she could.

She walked over, setting the food on a TV tray and putting it in front of Ryu. She had changed in the time Ryu was asleep. She now wore jeans and a sweater with an apron tied around her waist with a towel thrown over her soulder for a hand towel as she cooked. She put some pillows around Ryu show she wouldn't fall over. Kai looked... mature. Not only that but, almost like a grown woman.

Ryu was so out of it. She put her elbow on the table. "God, I feel like a little kid Kai.." She chuckled sleepily. She sniffed the soup. It smelt good. She took a bite of it. It tasted as good as it smelled. She could already feel the small amount of food to work on her body. "Thanks." She smiled at Kai.
