Yuzuki gave Hanabi a true genuine smile, even if it was a little sad. "I k-know. I just don't like r-reminding people of things that make them s-sad." Yuzuki, getting out of her comfort zone swung an arm over Hanabi's shoulders. "Hey! I b-bet I can beat you to the end of th-this hall!" Yuzuki gave a large grin.

Yuzuki laughs and takes off, holding back so she was just pretty fast for a human. "Come on!"

Hanabi bolted after Yuzuki. "Watch me, I'll catch up!" she said. And she was right. She was catching up to Yuzuki.

Yuzuki, without realising it, her canine side took over and made her quicken her steps to that inhuman speed, for a second. Then she reined back the urge to race and play. She slowed down and decided she'd match the her speed to Hanabi's.

Hanabi didn't notice the sudden speed-up. She was now evenly matched with Yuzuki. "Told you I'd catch up!"

Hanabi grinned. Then they were coming to the end of the hallway. Hanabi skidded to a stop, just before hitting the wall.

Yuzuki, unable to stop as quickly, caught herself with her hands on the wall. She looked at Hanabi and laughed.
