Hey, everyone. My name is Maniacally Melodramatic. You can call me Maniacal, Melo, Maniacally Melo, Melodramaticaly Maniacal, or pretty much any other shortening and/or combining of my name.
Or you could call me French Toast, theoretically speaking. I'm not quite sure why you would want to, though. Long story short, just be sure I know you're talking to me and I'll be cool with whatever you want to call me.
I have been a loyal Skies fan for almost six years, and honestly the only other RPG that's has sucked me in so thorougly has been Tales of Symphonia (The Dragon Quest series and Golden Sun 1 & 2 come in very close second, though).
Currently I am in the Digital Effects and Animation program in college and I enjoy it very much. I'm also currently starting my own video game company, so if Sega doesn't get on the ball, I might have to start on a second Skies, myself wink . I'm working on a prequel concept, as we speak!
Anyway, I apologize for the wall o' text. I didn't mean to give you my life story. It was a pleasant surprise to finally see a guild dedicated to this wonderful game. I hope I can make some friends here who have heard of the game in more than passing conversation.

As long as I don't make a profit off of it, I'm golden. Unless Sega decides to do what Squenix did to that Chrono Trigger Remake a few years back...

crying Yes, unfortunately what you say is true.
This is kinda off-topic, but can anyone else see Nintendo maybe buying Sega? I mean, they already work so closely as it is, but still, how ironic would that be. Sega appears to be heading towards more trouble...

Nintendo might, and they might possibly, you know, resurrect Sonic. BECAUSE, YOU KNOW, MARIO ISN'T DEAD. (Super Mario Galaxy is amazingly fun by the way.)

I would rather see Sega merge with Nintendo than die off entirely. That would be a poor way for (what used to be) an industry giant to go.

Sonic is in Brawl because fans wanted him in Brawl. Seriously. There was a poll in Japan. "What character do you most want to see?" Sonic.
Snake's only in it 'cause Hideo Kojima wanted Snake in Melee, but they were too far in development at the time. Either way, Snake is pretty pro.

And also. Snake is pretty damn pro. I need to pick up those games already. I've only played part of the second...? one. And the trilogy is cheap right now as a box set. /emo at lack of PS3 or next gen system in general.
Oh. Wait. I have a Wii. I always forget about that.

I still think that is shows that there still may be a bit of hope for that annoying blue hedgehog...
If he's got a fan base for that then he may get another chance sometime in the future.

Ehhh...Sonic fans know Sonic is dying. 8< And the fanbase has dwindled. 'Cause I don't hear anyone talk about the Sonic Rush games. Everyone's all, "lol adventure 2 battle".
SO LIKE IN VALKYRIA CHRONICLES FOR THE PS3, VYSE, AIKA, AND FINA MAKE CAMEOS. I THINK YOU CAN USE THEM, TOO.

Now, that's not really saying much, considering MGS 2 is still one heck of a game. Maybe it's because I just don't like Raiden :/. (How dare you call yourself Snake, poser!) Ahem. People can use the excuse that it's not very popular, but I've talked to a surprising number of people who adore the game.
