That's a pretty good list on the front page. I was trying to think of someone that was missing, but I couldn't. Here's my poor excuse though. It's late for me and I'm tired. I will think of someone to be added... later.

I thought of a couple too:
America Spirit (I don't know if they count, they were a one-hit-wonder in the 70's) Loving Spoonful Blondie Lynard Skynard Willie Dixon (I'm pretty sure he was 60's/70's, but I'm not 100% sure) Buffalo Springfield Rod Stewart Faces Bread
Sorry if they don't classify for what you want.

I'm not sure where you'd put them, but The Velvet Underground and Lou Reed appear to be missing, and I think they deserve to be here. They weren't well known or comercially successful during their time, but they were very influential, and were one of the original inspirations for punk rock.
Also, why isn't there a classic punk category? I think artists like The Clash and Iggy Pop and the Stooges certainly deserve a place here.

'60s rock?Well, VU ended in '71, but Psyadelic Rock seems like a suitable category. Lou Reed probably belongs in folk rock.
