DavidGemmell Forgedawn I sometimes wonder what other way there would be to write that we haven't ever thought of. I mean, can't all writing systems be described as syllabaries, alphabets, or "pictograms"? Is there no other way to write? All I can think of is maybe using something other than shape for letters, like colours or whatever. The cats in Red Dwarf used smells, as I recall... The problem with colors arises when your rose-red pen falls into the stream in the middle of your note-writing and then writes in a different color, thus bringing a completely different meaning to the board. Also, could you imagine having to carry around that many colors? And smells would have a tendency to mix and mingle, wouldn't they? How would you confine a scent to its specific part of the page? It wouldn't last for very long either. Convenient for keeping secrets secret, but not so convenient for remembering your appointments!

I'm color blind, so I'd have to use some type of color-Braille.

You're colour blind?
Well, that would explain your avatar. (Joking, just joking! xD)

Eccentric Iconoclast You're colour blind? Well, that would explain your avatar. (Joking, just joking! xD)XD Indeed I am. I see and discern colors in terms of shade rather than actual color. I can still recognize most colors, but often I can't tell dark blue from dark purple... some shades of red/green or red/brown, etc. It hasn't ever been a problem since I got past first grade. I actually managed to color coordinate my avatar fairly well this time around, but it's coordinated according to how I perceive colors. sweatdrop

I've created an alphabet or two, based off Persian/Sindhi lettering. I got a little inspiration for it from my handwriting, which I've been told looks like classical Arabic. Whether or not that's a compliment I have yet to discern.

Serali88 mrgreen Didn't realise The Athiest made those. Can I see the Tengwar like one that you made? The one in the banner? D; I don't even remember how to write it. It's the old AquƩnandi script that I scrapped because it was -too- much like Tengwar for my liking.

I'm not certain whom you are addressing, I'm dumb like that. Were you referring to me and the alphabet I was talking about? If so, I need to re-write the alphabet in a clearer, nicer looking chart so it's easier to read and I can add in a few new letters. I plan to do that pretty quick though, now that I have a motivation to put it up somewhere and show it off. I'm not vain, I swear.
