My pastor said different, so I'll go with a man of God with a long time ministry running advise. your pastor? wow that sounds like an unmistakeably reliable source. however i know pastors who would back my side of this too. so i guess hsi opinion means as much as the next average creep on the street. you're a moron. You have no respect for anyone. You deserve no respect. I take things personal because you are insulting my faith in every reply you post. You are always bluffing about how you know and have experienced sin a lot and how you're 'still a good christian' you're always trying to make people stray from the good path. You're always trying to convince people that living a light christianity is so cool and it's harmless. So, standing out for my faith is 'taking things so personal' ? then yes I do. The difference between a christian and a non-christian is that a christian does not hold LOGIC as their banner. They hold FAITH. You are the same as a non-christian, with the little diference that you claim to be a christian. And no, you have no respect at all, the proof is the first three words in your reply, even though I've asked you before to not use cussing when talking to/about me. I know you are going to argue about how I 'started the insulting' or stuff like that, but as I said, someone who doesn't pay respect doesn't deserve any. Besides you practically called someone, let's ignore the fact that it's a pastor, a Man with authority given by God himself, an 'average creep', which you are.

Because I unlike you understand that differcance in faith dosent have to be considered in Right and Wrong. I think it's variable from person to person, one who is not a self-medicating or does not have an addictive personality should be able to have the occasional drink, but one who does have these qualities, shouldn't drink period. Especially in depression.

You guys(Vic and Laz, obviously) never cease to amuse me, honestly.
It's like watching dragonflies fight.
It's a raging e-p***s fight that would better be kept between the two of you(The PM buttons are right there, use them), rather than display it to those of us who actually want to hold intelligent conversation.
You're both doing nothing but making yourselves look like total dicks, and if I were in a lighter mood I'd probably be laughing right now.
As for the topic at hand, I really don't see the big deal in having a drink or two every once in awhile so long as it's responsibly.
I'll admit, I've been drunk before, and the hangovers aren't exactly fun.
But I've learned that there is a such thing as too much of something, and thus I only have a few Jagers here and there at parties maybe.

If your going to drink and get wasted its ok not the smartest thing but ok as long as you made prior arrangements someone sober to drive for you or a bed to sleep in overnight to keep you in a safe place.

That being said, I have been drunk on several occasions. While it is fun for a while, it is not so great waking up with a hangover and or still drunk (I hate waking up drunk). Also, it's not so pleasant having people come up to you later that week saying how you were wondering around the back yard, Shitfaced, crying because you couldn't get any Gatorade. It also can't be fun for the people who aren't trashed ( and believe me, I get realy f***ed up) to stand around and take care of you (I've been on both sides of this). Yeah... I think I'm done drinking sweatdrop see there's the problem with people and drinking for the most part. none of the people i talk to on this topic seem to have the concept of moderation. Come ON! it's simple as soon as the initial buzz of the alcohol kicks in eitherfinish your drink and stop drinking, or spend a long time on your next few drinks. by doing this you keep control over yourself and you don't end up going falling asleep with a cigarette still between your lips and burning yourself. this is why i advise to give drinking a try just do it responsably. I had to learn the lesson the hard way myself. unfortunately, not everyone has alot of self control ike you. I for one thought I was drinking gatorade, only to wake up with a empty bottle of peach vodka in my hand. If you have good self control then you can do things like drink responsibly, but for people like me it's probubly best we don't drink. And if you don't know what kind of self control you have, I recommend waiting until you're old enough.

I didn't really have this self-control when i started drinking at about 14. but when you wake hung over up next to a bucket of your own stale vomit after being busted by the police for under aged the night before and your dad is staning over you banging a frying pan with a woden spoon telling you to get ready for school, you tend to not want to repeat the experiance the sensation. from that point on i trained myself ove rthe next three years to drink in a controled manner. now every once in a while i'll go over my limits (i'm not perfect) but usually that's in a friends place when i don't need to worry about wandering the streets or finding a place to crash. @ Morty : nah Vic is just strong in his beliefs, he's not a blind a*****e bigot like Fatal.
