I dont cry often. I generally dont get time, juggling so much in my life all of the time. But I cry when I just get so dramatically overwhelmed by the things going on, that I dont know what to do.
And since I always know what to do...I suppose I get upsett.

For example the last time I cried, is when my very own cat attacked me in my sleep at some ungodly hour in the morning. (and let me tell you, she got me good!) So there I sat on the corner of the bath, mopping up my own blood, and trying to bandage myself up. (and not very well, as I never got around to doing 'that first aid course')
It had been during my holidays, and so I felt wrecked from going clubbing alot as it was. With my stress from organising uni, trying to save money to see friends across the country, and my now scared and bleeding beautiful face...I started to cry.

Teehee, I blubbered like a damn fool. I blubbered because my cat scratched a hole in my forehead!

So next time you feel down, and start to cry, just think of me and start to laugh. Because really, who gets attacked by their own cat?!?!?! rofl

I cry because I am sad, depressed or tense. It doesn't help me release the stress or solve my problems. It makes me feel like a loser.

I cry when I'm frusterated mostly. Also when I'm really mad or stressed. It's kind of a way of relieving stress I guess. Although it's really annoying to get in a fight with them and be crying. Uck. And I also cry over things I can't control, like really important things (ex. deaths, problems in my friends lives...).

When I cry, it is because I started thinking about how my mother and father aren't together, and how she is very far away now. Four hour drive to her house, four hours back. Sometimes it's when I hear my father yelling at his video game, sometimes I wish he would just quit and maybe play footbag with me. Sometimes, it is because I got really hurt, and I just can't help it, or I'm just really nervous about something.

I cry because I hold everything in.

But of late I've been crying because I've been having boyfriend problems. xp xd

Honestly I try to hold everything in because I feel that if I cry I become more vunerable and I dont like that feeling at all.

But I admit, I think its healthier to cry and show your emotions than to try and keep it all in.

I think people cry when the stress of emotion is just too much for the body to contain. it's a natural means of releasing emotional tension and some people are simply more sensitive than others. we're all different. some dont cry very often, some cry probably more than some think they should. personally, I've been known to cry when I'm feeling a sense of overwhelming happiness (not the kind of happiness of say, it being the last day of school for summer vacation.. but a touching kind of happiness due to overwhelming love or gratefulness for someone), I've cried when I was pissed off and frustrated beyond belief, as well as when I'm overwhelmingly sad or empathetic.

that's because in our society we're taught that to cry is to show weakness. that if you cry you're a wimp. but it's not, and you're not. you're human and it's a natural human thing to do (or else we wouldnt have those tear ducts, so obviously it's something we're meant to do) and if you pay attention to your inner tension and compare it to before and after you have a good cry there is always some amount of difference (be it large or small). but you really have to pay attention to notice it! also, in releasing all that tension and stress enables one to calm down enough to look clearly at their situation rather than allowing bottled up emotion to cloud and confuse your mind.

I've been close to the water while I was young, but someday I switched it to an attitude that life is not as far as serious than it seems to be, so there is no need of senselessly shedding tears. I don't say I'm hard, because I still cry in moments of greater pain...
