Heya, I noticed the score you are keep tracking differs a bit from the one I write down. I think it might be because you count the crits as "4 points" (1 for a hit and 3 for being a crit); I give you this heads up in advance so that there will be less/no confusion at the end with the final scores. I am really glad you play and I want you to keep playing. biggrin

I showed my calculation working every time so it's easy to check if I'd made an error. I calculated the crits separate from the hits. I think the difference in our calculations might be due to this line here

where as a result of this line, I add 5 to my total score each time because so far I've always hit more than 6 carrots. You might have accidentally left those 5 extra points out of each of those calculations?

Please recalculate and see if I'm correct. I'm also very confused by this (and still confused by this) too. If my calculations are wrong, please do a sample calculation for one of the rolls above so I can compare my calculation with yours and see and understand where I've gone wrong. sad

So, 4 - 8 each get you one point. And 9 and 10 are each worth 3 points.

Exactly. You generally hit on a 4-10, but crit on a 9 or 10. A crit overwrites a normal hit, thus you get 3 instead of 1 point. I might have written the rules misleading; for that, I am sorry. sweatdrop

As provided by your own post, you do list all hits (4-10) and count them as 1 point. Then you list the crits (9-10) and count them as 3 points even though you already listed those in the normal hit sections. As I said, the point difference does come from the fact you basically count crits as "4 points" (once in the "hit" list for 1 point and once in the "crit" list for 3 points) and not from not adding the 5 extra points for hitting 6+.
Also to you: the rules might have been written misleading and for that I am really sorry. The meaning of

was that you generally hit on a result of 4-10 BUT crit on a 9 or 10. So a crit would overwrite a normal hit.

Was an absolute. You definitely get 1 point for a hit and you definitely get 3 points for a crit.
26 Mar 2018 (Page 6): (Special: I hit 9 carrots on this day. If there were any extra bonus points for hitting 9 carrots I have no idea and therefore not added to the calculation.)
Result: 10, 10, 4, 10, 1, 4, 7, 4, 10, 9
Hits: 4-8: 4, crits: 9-10: 5, Hits + crits >6 or more carrots? Yes: +5 points
Anyways, basicly if there were any extra bonus points for hitting 9 carrots on 26 March, I have no idea. But it looks like my points calculations results are different from Marc's again. sad
