Mirai frowned slightly as she heard Nariaki "The whole point of the envy chapter was so that you would turn against us. You shouldn't take it to heart. We don't think that of you." she told him. "You need to get a grip or else we won't be able to continue this mission." she said. Emma frowned slightly at him but didn't say anything.

Some men just want to see the world burn... And I just want to show them. Never Again... Will I be bound in chains Herald and Texas arrived through the portal, stepping into the next chapter. Herald had changed back to his correct gender. Not surprisingly, Texas had not. They both looked around. Texas knew what this chapter would be and had been mentally preparing himself for it. Still, his hot temper was hard to keep under control. Herald however, did not know this was the rage chapter. Immediately he felt his anger begin to boil. He clenched his teeth, growling quietly. His anger was immediately directed towards Mirai though at that moment he didn't act on it.

Emma continued watching Nariaki before her ears twitched and she glanced over and saw Herald and Texas. Right when she looked at Herald, she knew he wasn't going to be easy to deal with during the chapter. She began walking over towards where Herald and Texas were to fill them in. Mirai looked over then, noticing Emma walk out from underneath the shield N had made for them. She looked up then before she looked forward and ran at Emma. "Watch it!" she called. Emma looked at Mirai then before looking up, a huge building was coming down towards her. She braced for impact but then Mirai tackled her right when the building was over their heads. The building hit the ground with a large sound that sounded like a bomb. Debris flew everywhere and it looked like both of them got crushed at first. "What the hell is wrong with this chapter?!" a voice snapped then. Mirai and Emma had teleported about ten yards away from where the building landed, the bakeneko had a shocked look on her face since she had just experienced a brush with death. Mirai checked herself to make sure she wasn't injured then looked at Emma "Are you alright?" she asked. Emma nodded, still a bit dumbfounded from what just happened. "Y-Yeah... thank you. I'd probably be a pancake right now." she said, eventually taking a deep breath before getting up. Mirai quickly put up a telekinetic barrier over them until they would reach the others.

It'll be easy if I take out the human first before taking over this stupid planet. I'll let the beast have his fun and tear that worthless little woman up." Nariaki chuckles darkly showing his fangs as he turn to N. "As for you... this is coming from the creature that has no background on society and asks like this is a damn school yard.." Taking a deep breathe as he started to relax and slowly retreats back to his normal state. "Ha ha. Sorry guys for that... okay okay. I'll reconsider my position. Just.. After hearing Nariaki, Mirai glared at him. "Threatening my partner isn't something to laugh about. Neither is calling me worthless..." she said, obviously not too happy with Nariaki or how easily he was affected by the Envy chapter. "What?" she asked, still giving him a slight glare as Emma and her made their way back over.

"I, as have you, changed, Nariaki, back in the envy chapter and I, unlike you, had someone along to help me, and without him I would likely be as you are now." Kouzai. "And being where we are now, I'm sorry no one was there for you... I understand things like this now..." N lowered his head, feeling like his words weren't reaching him. If only he was... N - Kishin[Black / White]N stood strong to Nariaki's grip, as his pain was dwarfed by his lamentation. "Interesting offer... But... There resides a contradiction. Normality wasn't something understood to me until now. And a freak is a aberration from what is known as normal, so that brings question of how I could even think you were a freak when I didn't even know what was normal." N turned to him, then rose to his level. "And even now, I still don't think you're a freak. From when I met you Nariaki, that is the person I knew, that is the 'normal' Nariaki to me." N returned his grip to Nariaki, putting his hands on his shoulders in return, but in a gentler way. "But now... The way you are now.. It's a lie. A attempt to return the pain you have felt by yourself for so long. Why won't you understand this?" O.C.C:

Texas said when he heard Nariaki's talk about letting Herald kill Mirai. Herald on the other hand didn't need any more provocation. "Fair deal," he told Nariaki as he turned towards Mirai. Texas looked quickly at Mirai before looking back at Herald. "Oh yeah? Fine bring it on!" The rage chapter was clearly getting to him too. He flashed into Mirai's hand in Weapon form. "We're done putting up with his crap! Let's take him down!" Herald's wavelength spiked as he prepared for a fight. "Oh please, try," he said with a grin. He took a deep breath and let it out. A massive wave of blue flames rushed out of his mouth, set on incinerating Mirai with a close-range blast.

N - Kishin[Black / White]N let go of Nariaki. "Excuse me." Turning to Mirai, he sunk into Nariaki's shadow and grew back in hers, in front of the witch. A wave of shadow curled around them both, sending the fire over them. N afterwards stuck his hand through the shadow, moving it to the side as it faded away, then he spoke to everyone. "Enough! All of you! Submit to the will of the book and we're all dead! Now is no time to fall apart!" He turned his head to Emma. "Emma, please find the portal while I hold matters here! I don't think the original plan will be able to hold now, when you find it, I'll bring everyone to you!" O.C.C:

Mirai frowned at Nariaki "Are you seriously being beaten by the book? Since you were recommended by my mother, I would have thought you are stronger than that. You aren't a freak, we don't see you as one. you see yourself as one though, hence why the book used that against you." she said. She stopped when She felt Texas land in her hand and then Herald tried to attack her. N blocked the attack then. Emma made a face before glaring at Herald "Get a grip! All of you!" she snapped, doing her best to keep any anger from consuming her. She moved in front of Mirai then and looked towards N when he said to have her look for the portal. She shook her head "I'll stay here. Mirai is the one who is good at looking for portals. Hence why we shouldn't be trying to kill her in any way." she said, referring to Nariaki and Herald. She acted as a shield in front of Mirai who stood there quietly. She wasn't too thrilled about having to deal with people losing it left and right. She thought she stood a better chance with this team instead of another. She was wrong. She sighed quietly then and looked at the ground. This wasn't very fun. It never seemed to be. She heard a noise then and looked up. Another page had begun rising upwards, meaning the chapter was altering on its own again. At the same time, the world they were in began to rumble and more buildings and other debris fell around them.

He wanted to fight and beat down Herald once and for all. Wait....no. This was the rage chapter. Come on Texas, get a grip, he thought to himself. He'd done this before. He should know better than anyone what this chapter did to you. He took a deep breath and focused, closing his eyes in the reflection of the blade. He needed to stay calm for the others. Still, he stayed in his Weapon form; Herald was still a potential danger and he wanted to be ready in case it came to combat. Herald growled angrily as his attacks were blocked but didn't attempt a second one. "Let's just get out of here," he said angrily. He still wanted to fight Mirai, but he could tell this chapter was doing something to him and he didn't like it. He looked up as buildings began to collapse around him, waiting for the next chapter to fall.

Within moments, as the page flew down towards the group, everything changed. The red color seemed to be drained from their surroundings. The ruins altered and a sort of garden and forest scene replaced it. In front of them now was a huge castle as well. Inside was tons of weapons, each seemed to whisper towards those with much pride, telling them the things they can achieve. Luckily none of the group had to deal with that yet since they weren't in the castle. Also, with the end of the Wrath chapter came the end of the constant feeling of losing it to the rage inside of them. This was the 5th chapter: Pride.
