"How do you know? Ruby, I think you'd be a wonderful mother honestly." he smiled crossing his arms. "You chose to bear and spare the child over just killing it, that shows your kindness. Weather it was a mistake or not you love the child. I've occasionally spotted you talking to that small pudge of yours." he chuckled.
"That or you're just crazy, but I already knew you were." he lightly teased to lighten the mood. Though he then realized she kept saying "they". "...twins?" he asked then blinking.
Josh wanted to reach out to her, but everytime he had she had just pushed him away. Biting his lip he looked down. "Well you have a man here that...wants to help you. Yet you keep pushing him away, and he would like to know why that is? Ruby I care about you, heck I'm concerned for you."
Scooting closer he wrapped an arm around her. "That must have been horrid, hurt and dumped by some guy that doesn't even want anything to do with the life inside of you..nor you. He was an idiot to let go of a wonderful woman like you Ruby." he encouraged trying to cheer her up.

"I know, because I don't want them" Ruby told them in a serious tone "I don't love them.. I don't feel this so called maternal pull towards this thing inside me.. nothing" she said, trying to make a strong point. "And yeah I talk to them.. it's what your mean't to do.. or what they told me to do anyway" she sighed, burying her head in her hands.
Josh then brought his feelings back up again, which was to be expected. "I'm not pushing you away.. if I was pushing you away then I wouldn't let you come on tour with us.. you wouldn't be sitting here next to me now and I wouldn't let you come with me tomorrow.." she pointed out calmly.
Ruby wanted to do something else that night, something that was also in her bag of tricks but she stood up instead. "Maybe we should go back.. rest up after a big day and all that jazz"

He stood up as well and hugged her from behind. Burying his face in her back he sobbed. "Ruby don't pull away like this please! I can't bear it anymore. I love you, I don't want to be a pest about it but why do you just push me away!? Why!? Ok so you don't want your babies I understand, but why don't you want me?"
Josh wanted to know, he couldn't take it anymore. Tonight he wanted an answer even if they had to yell at each other to get one. "Maybe I'm being selfish, but why can't you see that I want us to work out! I don't understand, how come you aren't letting me into your life like you used to. Yes I'm traveling with you, but you hesitate. When we were younger you dragged me everywhere, you always wanted me but now..do you?"
(we can have them fight a bit if you'd like. xP drama. Then maybe they could make up or something and finally try being a couple? Or wait until she's further along and needs more help. xD it's kind of fun with the "being hard to get" thing. :3)

(haha well I like the play things like this the most real they can be xD .. life is all about drama haha.. imma make it play out longer with the "no us" thing.. i has a lil plan.. dw.. i think it's cute xD but hey.. with your awesome brain it will most likely go in a diff direction (: )
Being held like that was something she greatly wanted but knew it was wrong, so moved away from him so they could face eachother. "I have never ever said I didn't want to be with you.. did I?! I know what's going to happen if we get together right here, right now.. I just know.." she shouted out, not caring if anyone was awake to hear.
"I'm going to let you into my heart again, for real this time and you're going to fall in love with this baby. I just know you will! Because you are one of the most kindest people I know. Correction the kindest person I know and you learn to love the smallest thing. And that's going to leave me conflicted.. should I do what I planned from the start and give them away like I prepped my mind for this whole time, trying not to feel any emotion for them which will leave you probably heartbroken.. or do I keep them but still feel nothing for them and hate them, just because it's something you wanted.. and that I care about your feelings."
She pulled up the blanket from the sand and screamed into it to muffle the sounds. "Or wait.. maybe I do keep them for you and then you just end up hating them yourself because they aren't yours.. and don't tell me it doesn't happen cause it does.."Ruby kept barking out words to him in an emotional manner, because he wanted to know the truth, so he was getting it.
"You know.. after our little talk before our road trip. I actually thought 'yeah.. maybe I should get with him after I get this thing out of me.. clean slate for ours lives' but the way you've been.. bring it all up over and over again.. stressing me out.. it makes me question if you actually do care about me"

Josh stared in shock watching her rant and shout. He had never seen Ruby act this way ever, but it was in that moment he finally understood. Biting his lip he felt bad that he was causing her stress and hurting her feelings like this.
Hugging her again he let out a deep sigh. "I'm sorry Ruby, no I haven't been thinking of your feelings." he said letting go and frowning some. She knew him all too well. Josh would get attached to the life inside of her. Closing his eyes he placed one of his hands on her cheeks wiping some angry tears away.
"Ruby if that's how you feel then I can respect that. As your friend I support you and would never force you to keep something you didn't love." he said rubbing her shoulders.
"I think we both need our sleep, after all you just performed a show. I'll back off and give you space. Ruby I'm sorry, please forgive me." he said concern in his eyes.
Josh didn't care if he was beat up again, what mattered was her. She wanted to get rid of the problem inside of her, obviously the man who did this to her hurt Ruby deeply. "I'll be patient and wait for however long you need to take but I do want to rekindle our friendship. Will you at least allow that?"

Ruby felt rather bad for shouting like that but she couldn't help it. She couldn't really make up for it right then due to the fact it was so late but she would eventually. "It's okay..we just didn't communicate very well I think" everything was still pretty heated in her eyes but didn't want to upset Josh further, that was cruel.
"I'm still your friend, that will never change no matter what happens. So don't worry about that." Ruby then folded up the blanket in her arms before putting it back in her bag. She had been tired for a while, so hearing Josh say they should sleep was welcomed with open arms.
Ruby started to walk back, letting everything out like that lifted a little off her shoulders. But before even opening the door, she could hear lots of smashing and drunken laughter.Obviously the guys were back and still celebrating. Looking inside she saw two of them passed out on the bed, while the other two were jumping around and still drinking their butts off. "So I've got the floor again.. or maybe the bathtub if it's still even in one piece" Ruby mumbled, dodging the broken glass on the floor. She hated not being able to drink. If she was her drunken self then she wouldn't even care about the mess and probably join in.

Josh followed her quietly, he could still feel the anger in her when she had looked at him. Maybe it wasn't meant to be after all? Oh well that would be the last time he would bring it up. Yes he was hurt some, but he didn't want to force Ruby to do anything.
A forced relationship wasn't good at all. When they got back he noticed the chaos and softly placed a hand on her shoulder. "Take the couch, you need sleep." he said with a smile staring into her tired angry eyes. "I've got some work to do anyway. I'll probably sleep in the van. I've got a report to write after all." he winked his hand still holding the notebook she had given him.
Waving good night he let Ruby take the small couch in the living area of the room and headed out to the van. He had left his notes in his bag and was glad to find them untouched. Pulling out his laptop he began to type away. Maybe he would pull an all nighter, after all he could just sleep while they were traveling anyway.
As he typed up the rough draft rather quickly he felt so sad. Would Ruby have loved the twins in her if they had been his? Maybe she just wasn't someone that ever wanted kids. Pushing that out of his mind he sat in the darkness of the van typing away.
(Maybe after another post we can skip? Or heck if you want to do the timeskip this time we can. smile However far you want it's fine. :3 Like with all our roleplays let's keep the pregnancy slow paced. You could skip to where she's showing some if you wanted. Maybe out of the puking stage and more into the "feed me! Nom nom nom" stage. xD or not. xP you know more about pregnancy than I do. ^^; )

Ruby had a sorry look in her eyes when Josh offered to sleep in the van. If she had the money then she would've gotten him a room or something. When Josh left, she had to clean of the sofa a bit and find all the cushions that were thrown all over the place with beer stains and cigarette burns in them. "Thanks for having a party without me guys" she grumped before laying down and trying to sleep through all the noise they were making.

The next day someone was banging pretty hard on the door of the van. Whoever they were, they clearly didn't really care if anyone was sleeping in there at the time. "Hey! Josh!" It sounded to be one of the guys from the band "Is Ruby in there with ya? She wasn't in our room so we figured she tried to get all cozy with you"
(lol well I am a woman so it would be kinda weird if I didn't know xD )

He woke up with a snort and gasped. He had fallen asleep on the keyboard again so there was a large page filled with various letters and symbols. Frowing he closed his laptop and stood up.
Opening the door he looked at the drummer, he seemed panicked. "No last thing I remember she was sleeping on the couch." he replied. "So she's not in the room?"
That wasn't good, the band needed their singer. Getting dressed he tucked everything in his bag and left the van, with it. Looking at the drummer he nodded. "Alright you wake the other guys up and take the van. I'll check a few of the tourist areas while you guys check out places where she might have gone to schedual a gig or something."
The drummer nodded and ran back inside of the room kicking his mates and yelling at them to get up. Josh watched as they piled into the van and took off. As they turned down the road a sudden urge to check the beach first filled his mind.
Hopefully she hadn't tried to kill herself or something! That would be awful!

When the guys were driving, they were swerving all over the place because they still weren't fully sober, but it wasn't too dangerous or anything.
A young woman, clanking her heels on the pavement was walking along side the beach, just like Josh's urge predicted. She wouldn't of really stood out and easily passable if she wasn't wearing the cute little dress that Ruby was wearing a few weeks ago. She looked like a normal person and not some crazy rock chick who had seen her fair share of insane parties over the years.
The guys driving didn't really recognise her so just drove past in a mad dash to find her.

Josh suddenly noticed and ran up to her. "Ruby!!" he called out to her. "Wait!!" he had forgotten, she was going to get checked! Why didn't she wake him? Catching up to the woman he stopped to catch his breath. Standing he stared into her eyes, they seemed more full of business and annoyance, than her usual softness.
Was she alright?

Ruby blinked once she saw Josh puffing and panting in front of her like some athlete running a marathon. Why wasn't he in the van with the rest of the band? "What's the matter?" She asked curiously, placing a curl that got loose as he tan past, behind her ear. "You look like you're in a mad panic or something"
She stood, there in her pretty dress which now she wasn't wearing any black made her tummy show a little more.

"I was woken up by them. They're looking for you in a panic!" he said noticing her pooch poking out some. The dress she wore really hugged her curves. "Are you going to your appointment? Why didn't you wake me up? I told you I wanted to tag along as well."
Josh had to admit it was strange seeing Ruby look all professional. Though she was very beautiful in that dress, it made her look more like a woman than a punk rocker.
"Sorry I didn't mean to startle you or anything Ruby." he said sighing. "They're driving like madmen all over town I bet."

Everyone was running round like headless chickens just because she went out? Ruby couldn't help but giggle a little bit. "Well, the guys were all passed out drunk, so I knew they wouldn't be able to drive me anywhere in the state they were all in. I was going to drive myself but I peeked through the window and saw you sleeping on your laptop. So I thought I'd let you get some sleep"
She gave a nod to his question "Yeah, of course I'm going there. I told you last night where I had to go" Ruby told him as she held a folder close to her chest while they both talked. "I'm guessing you still want to go with me"

"Yes, but if having me there makes you uncomfortable at all then I don't have to." he said shyly. "Though I'm curious a little too. If you need a friend for mental support then I'm here. Oh and you could have woken me up. I hate falling asleep on my laptop I woke up to a page filled with various letters and numbers." he blushed with embarrassment before laughing.
"I had already sent in my first experience so that was on a blank sheet. I was going to pull an all nighter but I think sleep won." he smiled casually talking to you.
"How do you feel this morning? Is your tummy alright?" he asked with concern looking at her slight bulge.
