Devon's eyes softened as she kissed his cheek. Lifting the bowl, he set it out of the way. She would eat more later. He pulled her closer, but remained gentle so not to hurt her. It was the that he took her face in his hand. "I don't know, how I could, and I didn't." he said, smiling arrogantly. "I fell for a beautiful yet delicate girl. One who was thrown in a world she didn't know how to handle." he stated. "Tell me. Do I frighten you? Even though I'm a werewolf?" he asked. "Even though you've seen me in all my forms?"

Fey of Silver Light Lark gasped in surprised that Devon moved her so easily and was still begin so gentle with her at the same time and then she blushed as she found her self trapped in his gaze. "Not anymore when we first met I was terrified of you to point where after I got home I had nightmares of begin eaten alive and then you show up the next day and I thought you really were going to fed me to the wolves but then the I saw your wolf form and I didn't fear it and then I saw you weren't as angry like you were from the night before I felt better and then the real monster came and turned into that form I had though you had sent him and then you came in there and turned into the same form and I thought my life was over but then you saved me but you don't scare me anymore not now that I know you better the only thing that scares me now is begin alone for the rest of my life." she told him as she gazed in his eyes

Devon listen with a guilt at first. He'd caused her so much trouble. Had it really only been two days? It felt like a week or longer. It was no wonder she was scared out of her mind. He really did need to be more tolerant with people. And the rest he wished he could erase from her mind. He smiled as she finished though, happy she wasn't scared of him. All sense told him that she should be, but that held no ground here. He leaned toward her until their faces were only a few inches apart. "Then I'll make sure you are never alone again." he said, a plan already coming up in his mind.

"What do you plan to do." Lark's eyes where slightly wide and she felt her blushed deepen as she looked in Devon's bright gold eyes and felt the softness of his snow white hair.

A smirk spread across Devon face as he saw her blush. It only complimented her looks. Her eyes were wide like a deer's as he stared into his. He chuckled and leaned back. "It's simple. I have extra rooms. You will stay here with me." he said simply as if it was the obvious answer. He grabbed the bowl again. "You can't leave until you are better anyway and my pack and I can protect you better here." he said.

"That's a great Idea Devon but what about my home I'm supposed to take care of it while mom is traveling the world and all my stuff is there." Lark said her blush fading as he leaned back it was a good idea but could she really handle living in a house of wolves she could barely handle Devon and he was the alpha how could she handle him and the rest of his pack

Devon shrugged. "Simple enough. I'll have your stuff moved here and well have someone check your house everyday. I'll hire a maid service to clean it if necessary. Or if you want to do all that yourself I, or one of the others, will accompany you. Whichever you prefer." he suggested. He set the bowl of food in her lap again and started feeding her. "Way did your mother leave you anyway. Shouldn't you be with her?"

Lark sighed heavily her eyes darkened at the mention of her mother she looked away from Devon staring at the wall sadly."No I shouldn't she living her dreams and I don't want to hold her back anymore and if I had went I . would only be in the way again and I didn't want that. but it's fine Devon really I'm ok with it." Lark looked up at him and put on a small sad smile. "But anyway Devon maids are expensive and I think your pack has better things to do then to play as movers

Her smile wasn't a happy one. But he wouldn't going push her. "Then I'll be coming to see you everyday. I still want to introduce you to everyone. You have already met Sheryl anyway. If you change your mind tell me. None of us would mind." he told her. "So don't worry about something so small." Devon gestured to the food. "Try to eat more and get some rest. You need to get your strength back."

"I would love to stay here I just don't want to make anyone uncomfortable or be made to do something they didn't want to." before she knew it the bowl was emptied and she was tired again and yawning. "Devon you look so tired haven't you been getting any rest."

Devon shook his head. "I don't think they would hold it against you if you asked." he muttered. Right now he'd drop it. He could always convince her later. He had a feeling Fredrick would gladly help move her in. He had seemed quite cheerful after seeing Devon's behavior about Lark. Her question brought him out of him thoughts. "Not really. I was too busy to get sleep." Busy watching over her. "I was about to go take a nap in one of the other rooms." he assured her.

Lark let out a big yawn and laid back on her pillows watching him tiredly "I'm not going to kick you out of your own room Devon you can nap her ." She pulled the covers up and began to fall asleep

Devon watched her fall asleep and waited. He didn't want to disturb her sleep. He wasn't sure if she'd be comfortable with him laying beside her. Nor did he want to take up too much room. Granted his bed was full size. Yet... she had been comforted greatly in his other form.... In barely a minutes time he hopped up on the bed as a wolf. Yawning, he many himself comfortable for sleep.

Lark sighed deeply and turned toward the wolf in her sleep and put a hand on his head falling deeper in sleep feeling the bed dip under the weight of the white wolf but was unable to wake up from the disturbance

Devon chuckled to himself and opened one eye to look at her sleeping face. Like this she looked even more child-like. He closed his eyes again and sighed contently. In moments, he too fell asleep. It wasn't till late in the day that he woke again. As he opened his eyes, his gaze turned to the clock. It read 5:23pm. He raised his head and yawned hugely.
