She would feel the pain ...as her fur caught on fire and she screamed as she ran higher trying to put it out. As it burn, oh how those flames burn as she catches a hold of the top of the tree. There she stood looking downwards at them with her tail flicking from one side to another ....as the flames were put out ..by a super strong gust of wind. It was this wind that would relieve her of the pain as she glares downward at them ...a slight cackle in her voice as she defended her final position.

There it reached the top of the trees, and there, Lindbergh and Burnout would each emerge, as Jasmine yelled from below. "Try not to hurt it!!"

Burnout's flame puffed... try not to hurt it she said...

Alright...

It was burnt... that meant no matter what they did now, it was soon to fall from the injury...

But if he couldn't hurt it... He could certainly scare it, it had Growled at them... and now instead, he would swell up, the burst of flame rushing as the glass dome began to warp, expanding rapidly more than his tiny metal body, becoming larger and larger, a looming, giant face, much larger than even the tree that roared at the Minccino before creating an Astonishing explosion!

A ghost move like this wouldn't hurt it, but it could still certainly make it flinch!

Not to mention, it made an excellent distraction, as Lindbergh would sneak away and behind, wielding her tail like a whip, its Poison Stinger at its tip... and she lashed out, wings open and gliding past the creature, looking to catch the Minccino in the back!

The Minccino would avoid flinching just barely ....as she would move her head just enough to avoid the poison sting. Her eyes would show as her teeth flashes once, and she would turn to attack the Gligar even as she would leap from the trees.

IT was suicide that she was looking towards, but she no longer care as the growl would come at Lindbergh as she made that leap of fate or more of death.

[No, you're too close, Lindbergh!!] Burnout had yelled, but, as the poison sting swung short, it was clear Lindbergh had made a grave tactical mistake.

Burnout rushed forward, intenrt on getting in the way of the Minccino's path once more, but, luckily enough the Minccino had chosen a non-offensive attack for some reason....

And an idea cropped in the Lampent's head, as he bellowed out over her call, looking to drown it out, and hoping pain brought new clarity to the Minccino's mind as it tried to scare them away. [Little one!]

[Let us stop this battle before you do yourself further injury!]

[We have a medic who will see you better if you will now listen to us!]

And Lindbergh?

Well... what did one expect so close to the Minccino, as she clamped claws to ears against the noise BOTH of them were making!

That flash of ghost in front of her ...made her skid to a halt. Her suicide plan would stop for the moment as she found the ghost blocking her path even as the Gligar would seem to protect itself from her attack ....as her tail flicks from side to side.

She was stuck, and as she hunker down in her own defense on that topmost branch she was trying to figure out a way out of there. Though he would speak to her ....the words themselves would come out as a jumble as she looked at the ghost in confusion.

She couldn't understand him ....her mind couldn't comprehend what he was saying. Only the fact that he was in her way seem to stir in her heart.

It seemed by the time it was over, Lindbergh had picked the perfect defense against the Growl attack, with ears plugged, it was a practical enough maneuver it seemed...

+1 TO ALL FUTURE DEF ROLLS


It was of course then when she would yank her claws away from her ears that she had missed the entire point of the whole narrative, as she looked at the Minccino cowering there. [Alright, let's do this thing!!]

And so she flung her claws out, flexing as if she were bursting muscles into her Power Trick!

And Burnout? His fires burnt brighter, his flames alight as he roared his disapproval at the Gligar, if nothing else at least it was an Astonishing show...

Although it may not have done much to the Minccino when they were arguing amongst themselves!

It would seem that hunkering down was the perfect defense as they seemed to be arguing, and had forgotten her for the moment as she saw her chance ...as she would spring forwards again. She was going to try and escape this fight ...as she rushes past the both of them and made an attempt once more to jump. At that height she would more than likely be killed as she looked for someone where to latch on even as she tries to make that jump and escape the group for safer ground.


(sorry about that, I kind of made a flaw in this character and didn't notice until it was too late)

Two heads turned at once, the Minccino was fleeing, and here they were arguing about what orders were given and how to best deal with it?

Instantly, Burnout vanished, and then it was Lindbergh's turn to leap, diving out of the tree she looked to grab hold, her twin claws trying to grab each of the small pink things arms.

She flushed her wings open, fangs gritted, trying to let the wind pull then out of this suicidal dive!

[I... REALLY... Want... An apology... Later!]

Although of course, that left Burnout to boot! As Lindbergh tried to catch the target and pull her up, the forme Arcanine took the opposite action, as he would reappear ate below instead, small hooked arms reached out, instead waiting to grab from below!

[I've got her!] He would bellow.

[No, I'VE got her!] The Gligar would yell back.

Who would be right?

((Also? That's two turns of burns, shouldn't the Minccino be knocked out by this? =0))

((The rules of burn has changed, it only does 2 dmg ....so she should be reduced to 2. Though, she should be coming to her third one shortly and passing out....actually, I am talking about her attacking capabilities)


It would be both ...as the Minccino found her arms caught, but she weighted too much for the smaller Gligar as they both started to plummet for the ground ...only to have the Lampent catch her from below. The two holding her so that she couldn't get away as she thrashed in their arms ....her tails rotating wildly at this.

(No, let me go ....let me go)

She was screaming those words loudly.

The two would continue to lower her towards the ground safely, Burnout using his flame like a hot air balloon, letting them down but by bit until they neared the ground.

Then suddenly the flame would Minimize as they reached downward, looking to let them down gently by Burnout's long sigh.

[There, now just calm and you'll be fine shortly.]

[Ueah, relax!] Lindbergh chuckled, prodding the Minccino with her tail, although more jokingly there wasn't much chance of her Poison Sting causing any harm here...

And Jasmine watched on as they brought the Minccino closer, the burns would take their toll, and hopefully that meant this battle could indeed be won over peacefully now...

This time the burn would stop her as she continued to move around agitating it enough that she passed out from the pain of it. Going limp in their arms ....it would roll out of her mouth ...the pink apricot as it lands softly in the dirt. This was one battle that was over as she remain as limp as she could be.

Exp gained: 36 for Burnout - 70 for Lindbergh

Lindbergh gains a level

Jasmine blinked, as Claudandas retired, she could see the effect, maybe it would be best if she did this more, Lindbergh had been supported the whole time, but she looked all the better for it.

But regardless, they'd managed it, as she would move over, her hand trailing over both Burnout and Lindbergh, she noodled to them both, "You both did great."

And as Lindbergh would place the pink apricot in her hand, she would look to Nightingale as well. "Can you help her as well?"

The nurse would nod, and step forward, her Aromatherapy taking shape upon the burns as once more, they'd look to try and heal the Minccino...

Though whether it would work was up in the air, afterall, there was more problems that this pokemon was dealing with other than the simple injuries given during battle....as the aromatherapy would easily get rid of the burn, but her other wounds. Unlike the Murkrow, she wasn't in any threat of dying from them ...but to heal ....it needed her body to help, and like any pokemon affected with the disease that actually depended upon where in the stages of this sickness she was currently in.

((Let's hold out for hope that this is better than my last attempt at treating a patient...))

Nightingale nodded as the burns would vanish from her patients body.

Physically, there wasn't any trauma, it was stamina, and it was the sickness that were the cause of concern, until there was a cure for that, all she could do was soothe the ailment.

She would borrow scraps of material, moving the Minccino into the recovery position, wetting a cloth with a little water to clean away the blood from her face, making instead a poultice to cool her forehead before then placing others as a pillow beneath her head.

Now, all she needed was time...

And a little luck.
