Mintz sat down on the floor to get comfortable, "It can be pretty scary and dangerous even when the area is familiar to you. My favorite things to do were playing on the swings at the playground, jumping across the roofs, chasing cars when I'm in the form of a dog" he listed different things he did when he was on his own before he taken to the slave market.

Kenshin nodded, it sounded a bit like the description of his parents' lackies trying to tell what a horrible world it is....

"Yeah, their accessible and their okay for sleeping at night. I think the slides and swings parts are the fun things about a playground" responded Mintz.

"My parents are dead and they were only people I knew" responded Mintz looking down at the floor. He wasn't sad because he had gotten the chance to mourn for their unfortunate death. Instead he felt that familiar lonely feeling of why he doesn't want to go back to society.

It was true Mint didn't think about them which wasn't easy for him to do within a few days of their deaths. If he had any relatives because they probably didn't know about him since he wasn't aware of them.

"Okay" responded Mintz pretending to understand what Kenshin was saying. He was pretty sure now that if he was sent back out into the world by himself fate would drop him into the slave market once again. He was vulnerable and resisting fate was futile for him so he will be looking ahead instead of what was left behind.

Mintz's mind wondered what sort of practices he was talking about that needed a partner and wanted to find out the answer. "I don't mind, I'll do it" he responded.

"Thank you, I think I know what to start with..." Kenshin thought out loud and limped over to a room down the hall and came back with a box. Opening it was a record player and a stack of records...
