The servant shook his head. "I have never seen those kinds of flowers. Roses are the only ones that will bloom in this land. Always the same color as the blood that has soaked the ground throughout the centuries. Legends say that they once were white. Pure as a child's innocence." Softening the musical piece into a lullaby, the roses slowly lightened to pink before becoming white as freshly fallen snow on the ground.

"Just as the moon was white." Faith looked out the window. "Innocence. What causes the innocence to be tainted? What drives people to start doing dark things, depending on darkness."

"This is a realm of darkness. I had always assumed that every being born into this world harbored darkness. I don't even think that children can remember times of innocence in this domain." Finishing the music, Crux let the illusions melt away as though they never existed in the first place.

Crux pondered this statement. "That may be true, but it was not always to case. Darkness was around much longer than light. It is an ancient thing that reigned over all. However light soon came to banish away the darkness. This did not last, for light cannot exist without the darkness. It watched and waited for the opportunity to overpower the light. Is is a never ending struggle. The darkness is cunning, learning each and every time the light locks it away. Grower stronger and wiser. There will soon come a time where not even the light will be able to banish it anymore."

The servant shook his head apologetically. "I do not see darkness as a thing of pure evil. Just as darker creatures can exist in the light, not all of us are as bad as others."

"I see now." Faith smiles. She hears the shocks outside the castle walls and sees the field burning in flames and mixing with chills. "I hope they end this soon. I tire of them fighting. But then again, it may be my fault they are fighting. Seeing that inside my heart, I can not choose the one for me."

Lazorus slowly walked into the room, and took a seat on a empty sofa. He layed back against the cushions, as he propped the metal staff up against his shoulder and closed his eyes.
"Only a few have ever been truly there to witness Nyx and the Light clash. I was there when Nyx destroyed the realm of where humans originated from. That's where I met Lilith, Ryn, Ari and so many others when I left here. No peace will ever truly exist. Even now, Ryn is marked for death over Katsuto's death. The blood will always flow.."

Faith looks down and hold the hoshi no tama that he gave her, "I have faith in him that he won't."
Koji reappeared into the castle with his bleeding hand and gave Faith a smug smirk, "Told you we'd be back in one piece."
"Koji! Your hand!" She runs to him and rips a piece of kimono to make a makeshift bandage for him. "Koji..."
"Hey, I'm okay. Don't worry so much." He kissed the top of her head and then looked around the music room. "Figured you would be here. You always loved music. Now go on and play."
Faith nodded and ran back to Crux, "This is Crux. He kept me company while you boys were away."

Dark flies through an open window up on a pillar near Faith that is just there for decor, "Yeah, it's interesting how those two just dont give up isn't it" Him looking the way they did toward the field

Standing from the organ, Crux stretched and walked over to stand next to Lazorus. "That is what it means to live in a realm such as this. So Ryn was his name?" Crux bowed humbly to the others who had entered and carefully averted his gaze from the blood.
