After a bit of a wait I finally got my eldar codex. Here is my list. Made from Models I already have. Please tell me what should be changed. Thank you much appreciated.

HQ

Avatar 155

Mainly to draw enemy fire. He was good for this in the old edition and should do well this time around.

Farseer 120
spirit stone
doom
guide

Warlocks 5 195
conceal
embolden X2
enhance
Spiritseers X5

Mainly a mid range supporting role. They can stand between my troop units or close combat units and aid them as nessecary.

Elites

Banshees 8 246
Exarch
Executioner
Warshout
acrobatics
Waveserpent
Starcannons
splinter cannon
Star engines

To aid the scorpions as best they can.

Striking Scorpions 7 159
Exarch
Scorpion Claw
Shadow Strike

To infiltrate and be the front line.

Fast Attack

Swooping Hawks 7 184
Exarch
Hawks Talon
Skyleap

With the new rules. These guys will be my terror from above. Dropping in unloading a hail of fire and grenades. Then moving off only to do it again.

Warp Spiders 5 162
Exarch
Deathspinners
Power Blades
Surprise Assault
Withdraw

These either drop in behind enemy lines. Hitting Tau units in cover or aiding my banshees when nessecary. Or I use them to reinforce my HQ if the enemy gets to close to it.

Vyper 105
Scatter Laser
Splinter Cannon
Holofield

I may buy a few more of these to fill out the unit. It is basically a flying nuesance at the moment.

Troops

Defenders 11 291/301
Warlock
conceal
Spirit seer
Scatter laser
Waveserpent
Star cannons/Bright Lances
Splinter Cannons
Star engines

This is two units. The only differance in the units. Is the waveserpents are armed differently. Since the codex limits the amount of Models in the waveserpent. I accomodated the weapons. These are my forward Mid-ranged supporting units. Used to aid my banshees and scorpions with cover fire.

Defenders 11 141X2
Warlock
Conceal
Spirit Seer
Scatter Laser

These are my rear range support units.

Heavy

Falcon 185
Star cannon
Splinter Cannon
Holofield

This will be the main transport for my HQ.

War walker 70
Scatter Laser
EML
Spirit Stone

I will be adding 2 more of these to the squad.

Wraithlord 140
Scatter Laser
Star Cannon

At present the wraithlord has two scatter lasers. But one will be traded for a star cannon.

Total 2657

The total is actually down 150 points from my old list. Any advice about my tactics is also appreciated.

Thanks again,
Lozt

Eldar

HQ: Autarch(70pts)
Scorpion Chainsword(5pts)
75pts

Elites:
• Fire Dragons(16pts/model)
Exarch(12pts)
x5 units
92pts

• Howling Banshees(16pts/model)
Exarch(12pts)
Mirrorswords(10pts)
x5 units
102pts

Troops:
• Dire Avengers(12pts/model)
Exarch(12pts)
x9 units
120pts

• Guardians(8pts/model)
x15 units
120pts

Overall, 509pts. This is just for my small list. I'm still new to playing Eldar, so I'm taking it step by step. Alternately, I can use my squad of 5 Rangers instead of the Guardians and be under a few points. Then again, that's what wargear is for. Can I get some advice here on this? As a note, I also have a Falcon, a Vyper and a Wraithlord, and currently I have 3 War Walkers on their way.

ColinMackay

7,050 Points
  • Nudist Colony 200
  • Conventioneer 300
  • Invisibility 100

It looks like you probably have a 1500 pt army but shadowsun is only allowed when it is at least that much. The broadside would have to be upgraded to a shas'vre to have a hard wired Target lock, and in my opinion its not worth upgrading to a shas'vre when it gives you few improvements other than access to the wargear list, might as well just put a hard point version on it. It also needs to be a shas'vre to have a bonding knife.

If I go farsight then I might include broadsides, he only allows one squad of them though.

Small, less than 500 pt army

Farsight Enclave: Tau

Troops:

8x Firewarriors with pulse rifles

Fire Warrior Squad: 80 pts

Yeah, I need some hardcore advice from any experienced player, im not sure I got my head on straight for this one. I experiencing difficutly deciding whether to go for the cheaper shield drone approach to protecting my HQ as well as arming him and his bodygaurds.
I will be adding more crisis suits, drone sniper teams, fire warrior squads, and maybe some tank support.

You might want to post the equipment of your units. Also, dreadclaw rules are in Imperial armor books as far as I know. You could check forgeworld.com, they tend to have rules on there once in a while aswell.

I HAVE THE BEST PLAN. EVAR.

Essentially, I can gimp my small group of Gaurdsmen into being five hundred points without buying a Chimera or extra officers by calling them a Traitor Legion. In doing so, I shall be a gimp and use the 'Lost and the Damned' Rules. Basically, it's a way for me to be cheap and see wether or not I want to go full Gaurd, full Chaos, or the middle road. Albeit, I don't have the Chaos Codex, so I can't buy my little Champion any wargear. Pfft.

I know. But if I knew of Wargear, I could expand my list to 750 without too much trouble. Basically, assuming I have two boxes of Cadians and one of Heavy Weapons, I just take my original leftovers and group them into a third squad. That's about 100 points, and a third Champion makes it around 130. Just peg on Marks of Chaos for my Champions, Undivided apiece, and that's another 60 points for 190 points total. I could easily fill the remaining 60 point gap to 750 with a few toys.

ManagerKyoto
Well here is my Necron forces of slightly painful particle dismemberment. Note, I have editted my 1500pt list to be what I actually use and not what my tired brain was thinking.

~~
1500pt

Necron Destroyer Lord w/ Resurrection Orb, Phylactery, Gaze Of Flames
200pt

Necron Lord w/ Resurrection Ord, Gaze Of Flames, Phylactery, Lightening Fields
195pt

3 Squads of 12 Necron Warriors
648pt

3 Squads of 3 Destroyers
450pt

Total = 1493pt

~~

So I am only commenting on the 1.5k list because this is the only size game I am really good at razz

Phase out is at 11 models not to bad, but I see that though you have lots of firepower you lack anything really big! I mean playing against Grey Knights I have noticed that it is damn difficult to take them out when the Grand Master and company appear! I mean 6 str weapons just dont hurt those 2+ saves! and you can not beat GK in CC at least not with Necrons anyway! Unless you get as many wraiths as possible, but that saps your Destroyer count!
