Strikers are really cheap....example the sorcerer in my group was able to tank better that the defender (who was Pali but it was his faulty because when I gave the party money to buy magic gear he did not buy new armor ) and deal a good amount of damage not as much as the orc Barb he does a s**t ton of damage but cant take hits. I really like that about 4e that everything is really balanced though one of the people in my party disagrees and bitches about not being able to play 3.5 but I have had long talks with him about that. One thing I do like is there is less arguing over the rules than there was in 3.5 (or that could just be my group). What is the best moment you have had in a D&D Best dungeon Best character Best fight.

I find 3.5 more balanced exactly because of that, in 4.0 you expect a char to be a tanker a damage dealer or a support class. You make it with this idea in mind and you expect him to do that, in 3.5 your action makes you what you are, rather than your class. I seen wizards tanking better than fighters the same way i seen paladins supporting better than clerics. Also in 3.5 anyone with the right combination and the right person playing it can archive incredible stuff.
Best character:
Nellek, played him over 3 years REALLY HARD CORE.
Currently he is a lvl 20 Fighter/10 Barbarian/10 Frenzied Berserker/2 Exotic weapon master/1 Ki Kensei Drow.
Why I like him so much, he started as a lvl 1 Fighter along with his twin brother and got messed in deep s**t to an extend his brother sacrificed his soul to save him from one of the 9th demon lords. He grew anger and continued to travel the world fighting with no reason until he became aware of the way the world worked and how unfair it was and thus he changed from a c. evil char into a c.good char. He did many many things. He killed his own father and claimed the throne of his city in the under dark. He destroyed the Loth church that controlled this area in the under dark and started a person war against said religion. Later on he traveled to hell and destroyed the demon lord that trapped his twin brother's soul. He in the path met a succubus who later on joined him and became a holy liberator. As he told her just because you are born from the essence of evil itself doesn't mean you have to follow your nature. If I could change then so can you. He married 3 wifes, said succubus, a silver dragon who polymorphed into a human and Elistraee daughter of Corellon god of the elves. In his last campaign he traveled to the abyss and destroyed Loth herself taking control over the Drow pantheon and becoming a Greater deity. He forged a two bladed sword with Loth's arms and which became his favored weapon. And there is just way too much drama behind him but it would take like 7 books to write it all.
Best dungeon, probably when my players fell into a hole full of dragon s**t.
Player A: "Dude we are in deep s**t !"
Player B: "No s**t dude..."
Player C: "Guys I think I have to kill you so I can get enough exp to lvl up and up my climb skill"
Me: ">_______________________>"
Best fight was when I dealt 2.6k damage to a red dragon with the character above. You don't wanna know how but I scored 12 critical hits in a row which helps a lot smile .

Whoooo work week is done for Zineal!!! Raaaawr gaia! -ignores fact he is going to clean house tomorrow-
Haha strikers jobs are to be broken in every sense of the manner! I say that full well considering my favorite class is barbarian <.< Followed extremely closely by Fighter however. But still in 4.0 my favorite is definitely barbarian. Even if rages are the cheapest thing since sliced bread
Haha best character, why the one most my characters are based off of! Zin Shadow , my third character ever made. He never even got to that high of a level, however he was just really well done, with a perfectly fleshed out background. From standing face to face with a demon half orc, to getting trapped into slavery by nymps... To pissing off the entire gamblers church XD . And plus i really enjoyed the connection he made with the other RP-ers, and the family i made for him. Admittedly i'm not sure i could get 7 books down, but there would be countless pages of adventures and drama. I actually carried him over the fourth edition, as a *cough cough* barbarian... Who was great because i never bought armor, and always went around shirtless in pants (with some magic damage increasing gauntlets) and then soon he just lost his pants until he was in nothing but a loincloth... With a giant full blade sword on his back...
As far as dungeons go, probably a post apocalyptic dungeon my friend DM-ed. Mainly just because it was really fun, i was a scavenger and managed to scurry out of a town who was out to tar and feather me cause i killed the mayors secret gay lover... Then i sold my friend into slavery, and had to break out, he lost an arm, it was incredibly funny stuff his constent whining about my treachery.
4.0 fight: Me as a Barbarian My friend as a Cleric level 12. Level 3 rage strike (strongest you can get at that level ) + Prophecy of Doom [Cleric] +FullBlade (high crit weapon)+ being magic+ rampage= So much win
Anyone who plays fourth edition can put together how inhuman that is. Anyone who doesn't... Well average damage for an attack at that level is twenties to thirties... For a striker thirties to fifties... That attack was far into the hundreds XD

@Cheerios: The movie is actually based in the classic Chinese kung fu vs Japanese ninjutsu fighting. There's no american man with eye liner on it XD.
Lol we should make a D&D campaign here in the guild. I wanna give 4.0 ed a small chance again.

Yeah that would be amazing.... Its not that not much different from the guilds system....well that I think about it the guild runs off 3.5 so 4e would be little different but people could adjust to it. The only problem is it would be interesting because you kind of need something to look at in order to get spells and ability right that deal with range. But I think it could work because the guild handles that pretty well already. Who would be DM?
