She says, suddenly digesting the previous comment. "I'll have you know, I'm-" she stops. "Well, I'm no slave, know that much." He laughs, "Then why not enlighten me? I've got nothing but time." He says charmingly slowly approaching her, his overly calm look not without justification. I am a Lady of the Nobility? Not that it is of any particular matter. I have my ways, always have. "Nobility? You don't have the sent of a noble, but i have been wrong before." He says circling her. "My name is Lion, may i know your name?" He asks stopping infront of her with a charming smile. "Heh, might as well remove my mask? I think not. Call me Charade." Pronounced in the Imperial fashion, not the Far Western, that it rhymes with Facade and not Parade. "That will suffice for now."

He laughs as he moves closer to the light. "And girl, i'd appreciate it if you would stop thinking of me as a monster. Unless your one of the little girl's pets." He says looking her in the eye. "I am the pet of nobody! I am subservient in my loyalties to The Imperator and none other. I am no Pet of the inherent Dominatrix, nor one of the Heartless or Soulless Servents of the Dark Lord either." A voice is heard from far above, booming like thunder but dry like cracking leaves. "More's the pity for you. Lady. One of Mine would not be at such risk. As you appear to be." Lightning arcs across the heavens in all directions. "Used to torch entire cities," says the Dark Lord of Empire, suddenly seen atop a building not far from where they gather and looking down, his eyes aglow with eerie Nether light. "In my... "Understandable." with regards to the prior: "Hmph. Things come from the ruins sometimes I've heard. They don't have minds- feral things. More dead than alive, but just heinous in their menace. Can never be too prepared, least of all at night."
