I guess that does as your in the 'Family'
And have a gun, and ready for such things.

Aye she could for self defense but then again it might not be that effective since she'd have got expose some of herself from the bullet shield to shoot said water gun and could be shot and wounded.

... and that suggest probably does make you a guilty damsel xD

O.o from that it sounds like the shield reflected off of the light and was aimed at the fly xD

And reflecting light shouldn't be able to fry something O:
You need to focus it into a concentrated point to do that...
must be one strange lookin shield~
