*As soon as Contay was out of range, Karin splashed Trent with a mini-monsoon of water.*
"Haha! Take that!"
*She stuck her tongue out at him and submerged herself under that water, hiding from Trent.*

Dameon's smile faded from his face at the mention, "Weren't we all?" He had a brief moment of reflection, the battles he, well, Sirence had fought with Dameon in his head. Very little of what he saw back then was the same now. Everything may have looked similar, some people acted similarly, with the traits that made up their personalities, but they had all changed quite a bit. "Hey, I don't remember if I gave you the 'formal invitation' as it were," he started as he saw Contay headed for them, "but if I haven't and I had to guess, I'd say you may be getting one now."

Justice sighed. "I'm still not sure if I want to leave my passive state, to be honest. It was nice to... get away, as it were." She said, thoughtfully as she watched the ripples in the oasis water.

Contay gave Dameon a brief smile as she approached. "I have to go get Glenmark." All joy or contentment at having her guards with her left her eyes as she spoke. "We made a deal. We can't get rid of Calibar without his help... I left the crystals that I need up on one of the mountains too. I need someone to help me carry the crystals back... I could do it but it would waste too much energy. I want to start this tomorrow, sunrise if we have the strength. Do you think we will?" On the last part her voice wavered and her eyes drifted to Justice. "I'm sorry for intruding... I- I need to get going, I was wondering if you would come with me?" Contay's grip on her sword tightened slightly as a soft ringing noise sung in the air.
The barrier had been set off...

Justice looked over at Contay. "If my services are needed, I will gladly provide." She said simply, sensing some of Contay's distress.

*Trent popped his head up out of the water.*
"What the hell is that noise?"
*The noise that the barrier's alarm had caused had been amplified under water. It was probably one of the more annoying noises Trent had ever experienced, but once above water it lowered to a more dull noise.*

*While Trent was momentarily distracted, Karin clambered up out of the water on the opposite end of the Oasis. Thought the water had returned much of her physical strength, I could not return her mental exhaustion and it had been catching up with her since they had arrived here. Once she was out of the water she turned to address Trent.*
"Trent, I'm going to take a break. I'm kinda tired."
*She stood for a moment, and let her own energy warm her body and dry her clothes. She found a nice comfortable spot near the base of a tree and let the dreaming take her.*

Dameon sensed Contay's reaction to the intruder before he actually noticed the noise the barrier made. He immediately braced his sister against him more tightly. As he felt the Chaos well up within him he struggled to supress it lest he endanger Sairi. Fire energy overwhelmed him and poured from him much like his chaos usually did. The heat was intense and he took on a fire red glow that also surrounded his sister. This time he wasn't letting her out of his own care.

Justice glanced at Dameon. "You're not going to explode and destroy half the forest again, right?" She asked, raising an eyebrow in question.

"Hey, hey now!"
Trent jumped out of the water and flashed himself with his fire energy, drying himself, just as Karin had. He ran over to the group
"No exploding, I like life!"

"No one is going to explode... well at least not Dameon. There is no getting Sairiel back if she goes again and you know that!" Contay replied, he eyes intensely watching Dameon's energy. "Trent... if you don't mind, can you go find out what the noise is about and dispose of it?" With that she looked back to Justice and gestured to the wood behind them. "Are you ready?"

Justice nodded. "Ready whenever you are." She said, glancing off in the direction of the noise one last time before heading in the direction Contay motioned.

"Yeah, I'll take care of it right away."
Trent ran off to the edges of the tree and jumped onto the nearest sturdy branch. He felt for the energy of the barrier and once he found it he followed it around the perimeter it created. He looked this way and that, and constantly scanned for energies unfamiliar to him.
"Come out, come out wherever you are..."

Dameon's energy didn't settle in the least. He knew he wasn't going to explode, and the energy he was putting off was in no way going to harm Sairi. Quite the contrary, it was enough of a barrier to eat away any energy projectile, and at the same time was capable of burning any physical being that Dameon didn't wish to touch them. "Just deal with it quickly Trent, before I have to."
