Syrus nodded in responce to the thank you, and went about sipping his own drink. He was so elated by the fact that she enjoyed his gift so much, but really didn't want to act silly. Besides, he was enjoying the quiet between them, and didn't want to wake Suzura up, even though he was finding it more because they could just focus on each other, instead of being a good big brother and wanting his sister to rest, even though he did...

Skye lowered her glass again, holding up the silver heart and looking at it once more. It was so very pretty ...
She set her glass to the side so that it would be out of the way and then, without really thinking twice about it, she moved forward and put one arm around Syrus's shoulder, hugging him lightly.
"Thank you very much," she smiled warmly, her head against his shoulder. "It is very beautiful. You make me feel very special."

Syrus blushed, but wether it was from Skye's contact with him or her words, he wasn't sure. Still, ever so causiously, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder as she lay her head on his, inviting her to stay there for now.
"I'm glad," he said, replying to both the fact that she found the trinket so pretty and that he made her feel special in one little sentance.

Skye felt vibrations coming from Syrus's throat, and since she wasn't looking at him she had no idea what he was saying - but she was comfortable the way she was, with his arm around her, and for the first time that day, she didn't feel awkward, and she didn't feel embarrassed: she felt comfortable, she felt like she belonged.
"Syrus," she said softly after a moment, though she didn't move her head at all, "I want tell you ... you are ... special ... too ... I wanted find present for you to show you, but I could not think what you would like ..."
She lifted her head slightly so that she could look up into his eyes.
"I still want give you something ... what kind things you like? Want show how special ... you make me feel ..."

Syrus couldn't help but blush, but it was only for a brief moment, and it faded from his face just as quickly as it got there, replaced with a gentle expression as he looked at her when he felt her lift her head off of his shoulder.
"If you really want to, anything will do. Find something you like, and as long as it's from you, I know I'll love it," he said, hugging her closer for just a moment. "Thats how I picked out your gift after all," he said with a smile.

Skye watched his lips carefully as he spoke to her, and she blushed brightly and smiled at him, her eyes sparkling.
"Then I find something for both of us," she told him softly, sincerely. "Something to show how you are special to me."
She squeezed him back and then looked into his face again, and she felt warmed by the gentle expression in his eyes, and she couldn't help but lift one hand to brush some stray hairs back from his face.
Suddenly she lowered her hand, feeling slightly self-conscious. "I ... sorry," she mumbled, lowering her eyes. "I get too close ... Mama says I should be careful not get too close ... make people uncomfortable ..."

Upon hearing her words, Syrus used the hand that was not currently wrapped around her shoulder and placed it under her chin, gently urdging her head to look back at him so she could see what he was going to say next.
"It's fine," he said. "I...well...like it when you're this close to me."

Skye watched his words carefully, certain that he was going to tell her that yes, she was too close - but when he told her that it was fine, and then even that he liked it ...
She blushed hotly, but her eyes shone as she looked at him. She wanted to say that she liked being that close to him as well, but for some reason the words wouldn't come. She simply moved a bit closer and put her arms around his back, placing her head against his cheek and hugging him tightly.
"Thank you," she said softly, closing her eyes happily. Her wings spread slightly, then folded again, a sign that she was content and peaceful.

Suzura laughed in her own mind, not letting the chuckles ooze out to her shoulder, or that would give away the illusion of her sleeping that she had been keeping up for all this time, or most of it. Yes, she did doze off for a few moments, but now, one eye was open, though hidden by her arms, peering out of a minute crack. It was about time they started getting all cuddley. She had been trying to make it happen without making it look like she was trying to make it happen since Skye's little hint that made her 'clumsy' afterwords. Taking a look at the sky itself, it was starting to shift ever so slighly in color, showing that night was going to be here in a little bit.
Time to wake up.
With a yawn, the little angel sat up, her wings stretching and twitching as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

Skye had her back to the younger angel, but she could feel faint vibrations through the ground and through the air as Suzura began to stir. She let go of Syrus reluctantly, sitting up and folding her hands in her lap, her eyes downcast so that the sparkle that was there wouldn't be quite as visible to Suzura. She folded her wings tightly and crossed her ankles politely.
"Did sleep good?" she asked Suzura softly, lifting her gaze just enough to look at the smaller angel for her response.

Skye just about giggled but she changed it into a cough to hide it - though she couldn't hide the blush on her face.
"No," she said softly, turning away and pretending to clean up the dishes just as a distraction. "I hope you sleep good."

'Good,' she signed, then looked around. 'You are not done cleaning yet? I would have thought you would have both gotten it done by now...Did you get distracted by something?' she asked.
It was Syrus' turn to try to think of something. "Er...yeah...there was this pretty bird in the tree right up there on that branch. We kinda got stuck starring at it..." he commented.

Skye of course had no idea what Syrus had replied, though to be fair she hadn't seen Suzura's question either. She simply stacked the dishes and put them to one side, then packed up the remainder of the pie and iced tea and put them back in their respective bags.
"What time you have to go back, Suzura?" she asked her younger friend softly. "Have time to do more dance before your mom come get you?"
She didn't know whether their mother would be coming for Suzura or if the young angel would have to go back home on her own, but she was curious to know if she had time to teach Suzura and more dance moves ... though she was also feeling more courageous and was ready to dance the dance she had made up specially for her two good friends.
