"Erm... oh dear. I didn't mean to upset you, Miko. I just want to make sure everything goes... smoothly." Yet inside he was somewhat relieved. At least now they were all on alert. Besides, three heads were better than one, and if one of them could find out what happened to the basket, then all the better.

"You're right, dear," Miko said, curling up next to the basket. Hoping her baby was alright, and that there wasn't something wrong. Even if there was, she would love her, of course..
Lori sat beside her, stroking the blanket in the basket. "I'm sure nothing's wrong," she said with a little smile.

Miko waved excitedly at Dris, bouncing over to her and pointing at Lori's basket. "Look Dris, my newest baby is almost ready to come out! Oh, and congratulations on your evolving, you look very nice." Miko beamed a smile, and padded back over to her basket, glancing back at Dris. "Come on over and watch, it'll be a nice break from all those books you've been reading."

I always envies your stripes. 3nodding But I'd love to come see your basket. After all, we're all family. And it'd be good to catch up. I haven't seen you in a while.

Sirius glanced up from the basket. "Miko, I- DRIS!?" ((And you know what comes next folks xd sweatdrop ))
In his little corner of meadow, Remus was having fun guessing the contents of the basket. "It could be cookies, or popsicles, or a tiger, or new slippers, or..."

Serenity crawled out from under her blanket, peering up at the Talaye surrounding her. Tripping in her own blanket, she fell at Dris's feet, blinking up at her.
"Jyui?" {Mama?} Serenity asked, and Miko laughed.
"No silly, I'm your Mama. That's Dris, your god-auntie. That is, if she doesn't mind?" Miko smiled up at Dris.
Serenity beamed a wide smile up at Dris, and nuzzled her muzzle against Dris's leg. "Ork!" {Auntie!}
"And I don't think he could ever be taught how to not faint." Miko just shook her head, as Serenity tried to make her way over to her mama's feet, stumbling a few times before she found the way her paws worked, and she flopped down at Miko's feet.

Sirius's eyes fluttered briefly. "What... Dris? I..." As they started to focus, they landed on the small yellow pup. "It's-" And goes under yet again. sweatdrop

Serenity gave a little bark as she saw her Daddy, and she crawled on top of him, balancing on him. "Urin ka erp!" {Queen of the Papa!} ((Instead of king of the hill xD I crack myself up))
Miko laughed, giving her newest daughter's muzzle a lick, sending the pup tumbling down the other side of her Papa's unconsious body. Miko looked up at Dris with a smile. "Sirry and I have been busy, as you can tell." Her smile turned to a big grin.
"Nyuu kop!" {Wake uuup Papa!} Serenity tugged on her Papa's ear, speaking around the ear held between her small teeth.

Dris laughs at Miko's "been busy comment".
"I can see. But you make such a good mom. Hopefully someday I might have a few of my own. I don't know..." Dris shuffles her feet a bit, shrugging. "Dad suggested I go to the love grotto, but I don't think that's right for me. I'll know when I know."
She watches the pup gnaw on her dad's ear and smiles, wondering when Sirrius got so much older than her.
