// I understand what you're saying, first of all, and I'm going to give you a serious answer with the least amount of emotional bias possible. xD
I see by your reasoning that you don't believe that humans are also animals. You say that gay animals have something wrong in the head, but when humans are gay, it's a conscious choise. This is a fallacy, because it is a fact that humans are biologically 100% animal. I'm sorry if you were taught differently by your church. The church isn't exactly... fact-driven. confused
You say that homosexuality is a conscious choice. This isn't altogether false, because yes, some people do choose to be gay. 3nodding
Some people do seem to be "born gay", though! Stuff to do with abnormal hormone levels. (I'd be more specific here if I could. sweatdrop I read about it in an encyclopedia like, a year ago.) You know how teenagers are more experimental with sexuality than other age groups? I know I started thinking about the same sex when I hit puberty. I'm sure many people do, but they're just quiet about it. It even happens to otherwise completely straight people. It's all the crazy hormone levels at puberty making them like that. That's usually temporary, and goes away at adulthood. But like I said before, some people are born with crazy hormones.
Yes, it's biologically "abnormal" to be gay.
But is it hurting anyone? surprised
No.
That's why I don't think homosexuality is wrong.
abnormal does not equal morally wrong.
Understand everything I say, then try to tell me why homosexuality is morally wrong.
So you're saying evolution is a "fact"?
Even though it's not hurting anyone I still <3 debates.

yes, evolution IS a fact.

The snack that smiles back.
Goldfish don't bounce.
Its a fact but will never be a law since we can't observe it, just a technicality that will never make it official ^^;
It cant be proved! Therefore it is the THEORY of evolution. (this is also my response to Goldfish-Queen)
neutral that's what I just said.
You're saying it's a fact but no-one can prove it!

1.yes, im bi
2.everyone is equal
3.everyone has an equal chance of spreading a disease, so, SU people who only think its the homosexuals fault
4.any sexual preference can raise kids (and id be glad if they would get kids out of foster care anyway)
5. theres love no matter what preference you have.
6. no, their not getting married just for the insurance benefits
7. i would fight to see my partner even if the hospital wouldnt let me see them because they dont recognize my sexual preference.

5.There's "like" and then there's "love". There's a difference.

What I have for my boyfriend is not "like", it's love, and no one else can tell me otherwise, because that's our decision, and shouldn't be someone else's to make.

I don't think that one can choose love but they can choose like.

People can love other people. You may never have experienced it, so don't be going around saying it's not real.
It doesn't matter what ******** age or sex they are. Love is Love. Get over it.

You're saying it's a fact but no-one can prove it!

It doesn't matter if it's "fact" or not; it's the best-working theory we have at the moment, so for all intents and purposes, it's true.

Until it's proven, something can't be used as a factual foundation for an argument.

dunno.. if you look for the definition of love, you can love a person, an animal, even a thing, if you can love a thing, i think it is equally possible to love someone from your same sex.
Love is just an emotional attachment, so yes, they can love each other.

Love is love. That is what you're arguing about in the terms of homosexuals. Obviously you missed my point.

Gays can love each other just as heterosexual couples can. neutral A man looks at a woman and says "I love you" when he loves her. Everyone is okay with this. But when a man says "I love you" to another man, half the population looks at them like they are freaks. Why is it different? Because they are two males? Pfft. The only way I can see someone not happy with gay people being in love where because they are homophobics.

Don't ever edit my posts no matter what words I use either. I find it disrespectful.

You should know what love is and doesn't matter who is in love with who after seeing your profile and seeing that you have a girlfriend.

Bi is a bit different. You probably are better being friends with that person because you still know the fact that even though they like the same sex, they like the opposite as well.

Debating about homosexuals being in love with each other is basically the same thing about arguing what kinds of love is there. It's love. I don't understand why you don't think two men or two women can love each other. They are humans. All humans have the ability to love someone. If they want to be with that person for the rest of their life until the day they die, they are in love. Just like a man and a woman. All that's different is their sex. Nothing else.

There's more than one type of love. If a child says that they love their parents or pets, I don't think that it means that they want to marry them.

And what makes it any different when two men want to love each other and be together forever until death does them part?
They like it when they kiss each other, hold each other, etc.

Why is that suddenly not the romantic true love in your eyes? Just because they are two men?

You're making it sound like gays just want to be with someone for the sake of it. That's not the case. There are people who do that, yes. But not all of them are gay. There is a huge factor of girl and boy heterosexual teenagers that do that every day.
