"Nah everything is fine." he replied as the young mand came up to the table.
He smiled appreciatively as he broke the stare he had been recieving from October. Picking up one of the shots he slammed it back as told and put the shot glass back on the tray. It wasn't usually his style to take drinks from strangers but he felt like he could use a good dose of scotch right now.
"Thanks man." he said patting the young mans shoulder. He had to reach up rather far but he managed to do it without shoving the man around. He seemed like a nice guy.
He wasn't sure if he knew what to do about this October fellow and his sister but he might end up giving them a discount if they didn't creep him out too much. Ah hell why not?
"In fact I think I swallowed just the right amount of that to make my head clear completely." he finished with a wink at October.
((I forgot to put this in. sweatdrop heading to bed now. will work on it later. Thanks for rp see yout tomorrow night.))

Bren nodded, picking up the bottle of scotch, and leaving the shot for the lady. "Right...anymore drinks and you'll have te ask the waitress."
He blinked and looked at the ferret on his shoulder, then at Avery. "Ah...also...Torin don't prefer people finding tricks here. So if I were you...I'd be a bit more discreet. The chief isn't fond of that sort of buisness going on in the club. Ye don't want to find yerself blacklisted here, now."

Davey blinked at suprize at the other man's return and his comment. A few questions were ready to roll of his tounge, but he had already gone again.
Now he was confused. What women was this? Where the hell was the back door? Why should he use it when she came? His boredom now filled with curiousity, made him linger longer at the bar.
Lavina danced her way off to the edge of the dance floor. She needed a break. She told a passing waitress that'd she like some water. After her order was taken, she moved off to leaning against a wall.
As she waited she watched the other dancers on the floor.

Hooper had watched Lavina walk by, then glanced back at where she was leaning. As the waitress who'd taken her order passed, he stopped her and asked her soemthing. He nodded, then rested back against the cushions.

Lavina smiled happily as a bottle of water was brought back to her. She laid some money on the waitress tray.
Taking a drink of the water, she returned to her gazing at the other dancers.

The waitress shook her head, holding the money out. "It's been paid for by the gentleman there." The waitress walked away.
Hooper had turned his gazeback to the dance floor, tapping his hand on the arm of the chair.

Lavina looked at the gentleman in question. Well the night is looking up, she thought. She finished her water, setting the empty bottle on a table.
She walked back by the table the gentleman was sitting at. Lavina didn't say anything but as she stepped back on the dance floor, she smiled at him with a question in her eyes.
She was intrigued and wondered if he'd follow her back on to the floor.

Hooper shook his head, and patted his chest a bit. He smiled weakly at Lavina, then patted the bench next to him.

She thought about it for a second before joining him at his booth. It was the least she could do, after all he had bought her a drink.
"Thanks for the drink," she said as she slide onto the bench.

Hooper nodded, "You're welcome." He set his scotch down and looked at her, "I'm sorry I couldn't join you on the floor, I'm not feeling my best today."

"It may have to wait until tomorrow night," he sighed, rolling his glass in his hand a bit. "I think right now all I can muster is listening to the beat, and trying to find someone who's company I can enjoy socially." He looked at her, "If I am bothering you, you don't have to stay."

Lavina shook her head. "It's fine. Dancing get repeative when you dance by yourself to long," she stated matter of factly. "Besides, it's always good to meet some new people around town!"
