Sarah tried hard to keep her expression blank as she watch her lover endue the abuse. Old injuries she thought she would carry on her body forever were gone, but she didn't notice yet. She tried hard to stay strong for Black.

Katherine couldn't go into the room and see this she would stop Matachi because she has never had a stomach for it. In fact she had herd the first scream upstairs alittle ways and sat down and let herself have tears. She had seen her father do in court rooms full of nobles what Matachi was now doing. ((btw Matachi said he will be back in just a second))

Ashya looked upon the man before her with indifference. "I was told of you by someone. His very vague description intrigued me. Perhaps we can be of assistance to each other?"
She tilted her head at him as if daring him to move.

Matachi continued to strike him, they were only reaching twenty slashes just then. Matachi had a man counting out to the right of him as each crack of the whip created a another slash in his back. Matachi had to do this, he had to show what happens to those who do not follow the rules

Alastor said as he leaned back against the rock with a grin. "Katherine, her yes... she needs to die. You see, I'm suppose to be the one to do the job. Though I need you to do something about all the people that stick around her. Distraction, kill them, whatever. I don't care, as long as they're out of the way." He outlined, it sounded more like crazed mumbles.
Each reaction was a pained scream by Black. It even came to the point where the cloth had fallen out of his mouth. So each one was just as loud as the last. By now, it was impossible to lash without causing permanent damage of some kind, if not tearing at flesh.

A wicked smile graced Ashya's lips. "Killing mortals? Always a task I enjoy. But nothing comes without a price. What is the catch and what do I get besides the joy of messing with a lesser species?" Her red eyes glinted evilly in the dim light from the thick canopy over head.

Finally the hits stopped as the man reached thirty. Everyone was silent as the guards carefully took Black to the medical wing to get the slashes treated a tiny bit. But he had to feel the pain so he would only be given a few dabs of some alcohol to make sure there was no infection but other then that, he had to live with the pain. Matachi slowly wrapped up the whip handing it back with its bloody tip to one of the guards that had come to watch "Take it away." he said his voice not shaky one bit

Even when it stopped she didn't move. She knew this cemented away there friendship her's and Black's. Brother no longer but at the point when the knife hit her back and she watched him walk away. She let more tears out thinking about it.

Taking a few steps forward, the girl's eyes betrayed her concern. She wondered if he had seen her. Her eyes wandered around the room; her ears perked up. She had so much to think about now, not just Black. 'Her eyes and her ears.'

Matachi made his way up to Katherines room seeing her on the stairs just being still kinda disturbed him. He didn't know if she hated him for what he did but he had to find out if she was okay he cared about her too much. Slowly he sits on the stairs by her putting his arm around her

She leaned into him as he did this. "I am sorry." She spoke faintly as she moved closer into his arms. She was still crying though.
